    Really need to put new injector seat washers in those things every 100k km. Bye bye turbo and engine when the oil gets cooked from the compression gasses past the injector seal

      Yep, finishing one up now. Injector seals, turbo, oil pump pick-up.

    Looking forward to hearing this one with a exhaust done.
    Not something you see done often.
    Run a few Hyundai crdi engines current one at 222,000 zero issues.
    One before 300,000k before insurance write off, zero issues.
    One before which for upgraded zero issues.
    Well built that's for sure.

      I have a 2011. ive put 100k kms on i t with no issues at all. I use Lucas upper cylinder lubricant every 2nd or 3rd tank and service it with new air, oil and fuel filter every 10k kms. Any other tips mate?

    • @mccsmotorsport9511
      @mccsmotorsport9511 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FlyGoodtime mbl added to the oil.
      Regular oil changes, trans services, trans cooler added if you are auto.
      Run upper cylinder lube as well every tank, fuel filter changes.
      Followed by the standard service.
      240k normally is a expensive bill for service, front cvs in the Santa Fe, hoses, service around the turbo, the dpf ect, bushes ect.
      One thing I would do, and am going to do is get a spare head manifold and egr delete.
      Swap the head and intake so no more soot. But that's job for later, Santa Fe still doing 7.4lt to the 100 at 222k

    I have An Iload as well and the air intake for the airbox is on top of the Radiator support. I cant put a photo of it on. There is a very small opening as you can see. But i looked closer behind the grill and there is a plastic trim held in with clips that diverts the air suction from the opening on top of the radiator support and not from the grill itself to get a nice fresh air charge straight in to the air inatake. I removed this plastic trim.Can you see if this makes any difference on the dyno before or after you do the tuning on it.

    That intercooler is covered in oil because it's actually leaking from the end tanks a common fault with iloads this causes the turbo to overspeed causing permanent turbo damage the base washers under the injectors also leak causing excessive engine breathing back through the intake pipe which contaminates the air flow metre and so on and so on......

    • @MotiveVideo
      @MotiveVideo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We pressure tested it and it doesnt leak. It was actually coming out of the intercooler pipes, leaking around the clamps and running down the pipe onto the intercooler. We thought it was split end tank as well but turns out it wasnt
