In this episode of Day Job, we head to Impossible Fabrication so Grub can install the Turbosmart EM BOV for the GR Yaris and the GRP 3-inch dump pipe and mid pipe to complete the full 3-inch exhaust system. We also pull apart some of the car to do some research for future mods.

Because he did not use straight. But still have some cells for better back end pressure from turbo is very important for all new direct injection cars

Sounds very fruity - I like it! As others have commented, it looks like Toyota engineered this to be modified and able to be worked on quickly and easily. I'd go as far as saying that they've left some room in the design not only for the rally-based mods but for tuners as well. Its already a quickly little car but with some tasty mods, this thing will be scaring supercars, if not beating them.

Did you guys ever have an engine light or errors pop up on the dash? I hear from a few people who’ve install the Dual port have this issue and the car goes into limp, while other owners don’t seem to have a problem. Can you please shed some light on this before I pull the trigger and buy one myself?

The yaris wasn't the coolest car in this vid that rwd Honda was awesome. Back in the day I had a crx, light weight no power but revved into next week started my love affair with Japanese cars.
My first car was a 1.3L automatic 1990 Ford Festiva with a neck snapping 63 HP and 73 lb ft of torque. I am 37 now and I have two cars, a 1997 Honda Civic coupe with a fully built LSVTEC with a Garrett GT3582R dual ball bearing turbo that makes 612 wheel horsepower and a 2001 Honda Accord with a JDM J32A with a six speed manual swap and a GT3582 turbo that makes around 500 wheel horsepower (this is my daily). My first Honda was a 1979 1200 Civic 4 speed, but I've also owned an 89 CRX, so I know exactly what you mean about them. I've owned 65 cars since I was 14 and a handful of them were really cool interesting cars like my 1990 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD turbo that I owned for a while, modified, and sold, and I also had a 1992 Plymouth Colt hatch that I swapped a fully built 4g63t into that would EAT Corvettes.
At idle and low rpm doesn’t sound to nice... almost droney... sound good up in the revs tho
all of the currently available exhausts sound shit at idle. They only sound good under load, even the stock one isnt too bad
Why does everyone think louder equals faster?
I’d argue my farts are loud, but the don’t make me move faster.
Not really doing it for noise, just that when you remove restrictions in the exhaust that chokes power it obviously gets louder

N12 Exa. There was the Exa and the ET Turbo here in Australia.

@@joshdobson2737 Both the Exa and ET were turbo here, using the E15ET motor. 😁👍 We missed out with the N13 model and didn't get the proper CA18DETs in there like Japan did, instead we got the GM Family II engine due to a tariff partnership here in Oz during the 80s.
@@MafiaboysWorld mine was a single cam 1.5 with 69 horsepower. I think America got shafted worse with the JDM stuff in the 80s. ;)
@@joshdobson2737 Yeah, it's the E15 motor, just no turbo bro. 👍 Tariffs stopped a lot of great cars arriving in both Oz and the US. You guys got the Mk4 Supra, we didn't. We got the R32 GT-R, you didn't.
