I've always wondered if someone's ever vw 1.8t swapped one of these. I have a spare 1.8t and a blown engine 90 prelude... but not the knowledge of how to do it
hey bro not sure if you remember me from the PreludePower days, had a white (then primered) 88 2.0Si, Gladman stbs, 90-91 cluster and transmission swaps, ghetto hand ported and polished intake manifold, 60mm bored tb, B18A1 intake cam, Chikara header, high flow cat, crush bent 2.5" exhaust, 12lb normal B-series flywheel, 4WS swap, etc. Cool to see some of the OG peeps still keeping 3rd gens alive. Do you know what ever happened to those 2 guys projects to do proper VTEC head swaps? I found the old threads but it seemed like they both ended up giving up without really explaining everything they'd learned with pics and videos (granted we didn't have TH-cam or smartphones back then). I see one of them said he got it all working but never explained 100% what was necessary beyond the oil feed situation from a common LSVTEC and CRVTEC head swap. Now that I'm old, I keep getting an itch to find another clean 88 2.0Si (hopefully this time in that light metallic blue and with 4WS factory) to go ham on and finish what I'd started. When I sold mine back in 2007, I had in the garage a whole mess of parts to build a B20A/VTEC motor: B20A3 bottom end, factory ITR pistons, cams, valve springs, throttlebody, LSD to put in the spare 90-91 transmission, etc. and seeing your clips here is only fueling that. By chance do you know if anyone made seat rails that fit the Prelude? That's the only big holdup - at my height if I sat up straight the top of my head was higher than the sunroof so if I decided to jump into this I need to make sure I can swap in a substantially lower-sitting seat. Anyway take care and keep the 3g love alive!
like what can you be more specific i need help with this i have a super nice prelude but its automatic with the b21a1 and the engine went bad 0 compression across
It's the legend from the forums! I never knew you had a youtube channel
I'd imagine hasport style mounts to help out durability-wise
Bring more content ! Show the world why the prelude can be a great platform for b and k swaps
Where did you get the mounts what forum should I be following to run this swap?
Where did you get these engine mounts for the engine bay
Please tell me how you did this. & made it AWD!?
Sick Work! What Mounts U Use?
great job, but what do I need to do to fat a b20b in my 89 prelude

i’m thinking of doing that to my 88 prelude. i have a tdi engine i could use, i wonder how cool that would be.
Do you need to make remount for the mounting b20b? Or can be use same mounting from b20a4?
Hello sir, ❤
@@znulzndn6025 is it possible sir? ❤️
@@Holypepsi22 sir
Can you swap a gsr trans on a b20v setup ?
What shift linkage and all do you use?
extended integra shift linkage

i just wondering if this could be done to a 91 prelude automatic
Yes it could, but you need the custom mounts and all other applicable components

please steer me in the right direction
