I owned the same Frost White Lude with the matching Saw Blade Wheels. Mine was a 5spd and 4WS. It was a 91 Si. This was back in 2000; traded it 2010 for a 2006 Acura TL. I still miss it to this day👀
WOW your attention to detail is impeccable, it looks amazing! The only thing that may be an issue is the placement of the CAT, with it in the rear it might not get hot enough to light it up.
Perfection, absolute fantastic job and thanks for going so in detail. To avoid cutting the hood, the skunk2 magnesium valve cover should make enough space so hood clears. But its expensive.
I actually bought one of those and 3D scanned it. The marketing is misleading. The overall height reduction of the engine is practically nothing (few mm at most) when the engine is tilted like the K-series is supposed to be. It would reduce how much needed to be cut though.

friggin BRAVO. I would have to imagine you're some form of engineer in your daily life. That exhaust setup is truly beautiful. It appears your experience with send-cut-send was pretty good? I have contemplated getting a few things done by them but have not truly needed to pull the trigger yet. Since you have all the designs planned out, I would think this could be a welcome addition to the hasport lineup....IDK if you would ever work out some sort of deal with Brian to sell the IP of your designs and maybe let their mfg setup make some logistical efficiency improvements to the actual construction of the mounts and stuff.....but I would probably try to find a way to produce these at scale and still get some reward on every sale. I think broadly the community does not believe that you can fit the K motors in a 3rd gen while keeping the stock hood outer skin profile. Here is proof that it can AND SHOULD BE done. The 3rd gen prelude was always a top choice in my mind for a project car but I chose not to because of the limited swap options.....thank you for opening this door.
Sendcutsend is good, I use them for everything now. I don't think hasport would really be interested since they seem pretty locked in to using polyurethane mounts and this design purposefully avoids that. Different design philosophies.
I wish I would have bought filming equipment instead of car stuff sometimes....I did a k20z3 from my wrecked 08 si civic and swapped it into my 91 lude. Was built head and then fbo with a zex 75 shot 2nd-4th and 100 shot 5th and 6th. it was tuned by me on hondata and I sold to get my first home before I could dyno but my guess was 260ish without spray

This is the best k swap I’ve seen. Aside from it being basically impossible in California to do legally, I wonder about how does all that weight that far forward affect handling dynamics? I’d believe you if you said the k was lighter than b20a, but it’s pretty far forward by comparison
Can't really notice any difference. It should be possible to do a legal swap like this in CA, just a lot more work since all the evap stuff needs to be installed as well.
would you ever consider working on a RWD conversion for the 3g? perhaps a K20 with a zf5 transmission out of a BMW. I'm not sure a S2000 transmission would be able to fit under the car given how long it is, but given the compact size of a ZF trans it might be able to fit with some massaging. Would it also be possible to replace the AC compressor with the engine driven power steering pump? Also, from what I understand the steel oil pan from the K24 is shorter than the alloy one on the K20A2, you might be able to raise the pan height a touch by swapping the pan and the pickup. Do the Stock RSX CV axels have the correct spline count and dimensions to work with the stock 3g spindles?

I’ve swapped a JDM H22A into my 3rd gen with swap mounts fabricated from David. I purchased a lower mileage one 40-50,000 miles from a well known JDM importer here in the states. I would recommend replacing all the seals on the engine and transmission with whatever engine you go with before you install it all. I would also recommend purchasing a skid bar or have one fabricated to protect the investment…The car is a riot to drive now and with a completely rebuilt suspension it also handles like a dream!
