    This woman is incredible as always. I love how she is super self reliant, makes these videos to help others and that to me is SUPER HUMAN. Pro tip: Everyone got there level of sucess by doing the work for themselves.

    Thank you for this simple explanation. I used to only concentrate on protein but started adding carbs after I figured out they weren't evil.
    I did not think about going for simple carbs on both sides of the workout.
    I had been doing veggie/fruit/whey smoothies afterwards but I think all the fiber was leaving me feeling kind of bloated.
    I think I'll be well-served to sort of strip these meals down into basic components like this and go from there.

    She looks amazing! 💛 I wish I had that much discipline. I hope the microwaving does not denature the proteins.

    The microwave kills 70% of nutrients but I love Erin she is amazing and all her knowledge is priceless!

    As always, Thanks for your showing how its done! I've always been a little skimpy on my post-workout as it used to be in the evenings. Timing is everything. Hmm! Re-Calculating!!

    Just cannot get my eating right, struggle because of my tummy problem, I like this simple yet healthy, what time do you eat your last meal, do you always work out at 3:00.

    Thank you so much for this. I workouy first thing in the morning. So I do the opposite of what you did here. I have my cream of rice with whey protein and s handful of blueberries pre workout and then I have an egg breakfast with toast post wotkout

    Thanks for the video! Just a little confused since you first said (for your post-workout meal) that the heat of the rice flour would de-nature the protein in the whey powder, but then you put it into the microwave once they were mixed together!🤔 Also, is it not better (and faster absorbing) to use whey isolate protein powder? Lastly, I know you said you want low fiber (I’m referring to your pre-workout meal), so when would you eat a salad or greens to get your phytonutrients? Thanks so much in advance for your answers! I’m a huge fan!💪🏽😊

      I think what she’s suggesting is that the protein powder won’t blend if the rice flour is too hot… it’ll clump. So she let’s it cool slightly to allow for a smooth blending and then microwaves it to reheat it. As for getting in your greens, add those to any of your other meals. For example, if you workout in the afternoon and have your pre-workout meal around lunchtime, add in your fiber at breakfast, dinner, and/or snack times. The idea isn’t so much that fiber is “bad,” but that you want a carb that breaks down quickly, which is why she opts for white rice over brown rice. The simple carbs (i.e. white rice) break down more quickly, which allows them to fuel your workout.

    Erin, I need plenty of fiber to stay, ahem, regular. Since you stay low fiber pre and post workout, do you get more fiber at other points in your day? Just curious about how you manage that and digestive health.

    So the microwave doesn't de-nature ?

    • @Le_Brick420
      @Le_Brick420 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty sure she lost track of time while the video was being shot and instead of making a new one... (fill in blanks) lets finish the video. I would say yes on the de-nature with the microwave on this long. Key note is to not get distracted while allowing the rice to somewhat drop in temp. at the half mark and then add the whey protein, mix, serve. Hope this helps clear the confusion.
