That smallmouth at 19:40 was a beauty! And what a Northern! Glad y'all had such good fishing on the Raquette, and to see Stephanie with a head net so she doesn't get eaten alive by blackflies again. I felt so sorry for her all swollen and feeling bad. I hope she recovered quickly. Wow! Y'all really eat good on your trips. Love those s'mores!
3 years in a row. Youve got that trip down. Its definately on my bucket list. Ive gotta find some time to get that one done. Looks like such a great time.
I had to really search the woods to find firewood at tromblys leanto. Most of the deadfall was really saturated last October… Ps. was really hoping you were gonna hook your lost tackle from your previous trip down the Raquette River… maybe bedtime.
Jay, that's wild. I camped at the falls 1st week of October and a small buck was hanging around. Probably the same deer. Hope the little guy made it through deer season.
I was worried about that bridge on a day trip up there last year too. I think it was a touch lower when we were there, but we were also in kayaks. The ice fishing season has been terrible this year, so I'm dreaming of summer trips like this already.
I did okay on the ice fishing this year. We got into a few good Lake Trout, but definitely not as much time on the ice as I had hoped. I also cannot wait to be back doing this!
I think it's really just preference. This year we took out at the Crusher instead of going all the way so we could fish longer, and it paid off. I got into a mess of nice Pike on the paddle out.

I think what you saw was me extinguishing the tip of one and then throwing it in the bottom of my boat. They never go in the water or on land. They all go either in the camp garbage or in the fire when it's burning.
The ski slope you saw I believe was big tupper. It hasn't been opened in years. The raquette river is my favorite river to kayak. So I love your raquette river videos!

I still cannot believe how bad she got nailed by those flies! Definitely going to be better prepared this spring.
That was a great trip. Next year you and Stephanie should do it alone 🤣
Great trip!
Thanks for sharing, mynhome town Tupper Lake...venture in next time!!!😊
AWESOME!! Thanks!!
You bet!

You should! I love doing this trip, it is always different every year!

I just got home from my 2024 Long to Tupper Trip, and had the same thought in that section!

I don't think that area gets a TON of hunting pressure, so we might see him this year!
Great trip! Wish we could have went with you guys.
Next time!
@@DaxWoodsWanderer apparently not with Paul though lol
@@ADKAddicts I have a feeling with enough harassment we can get him back out there earlier than he thinks!
Looking forward to getting up in the Adks this summer! Hope we catch as many fish as you did! Really enjoy your videos.
I have a feeling the Trout fishing is going to be pretty good come April and May, cannot wait to find out!

Great videos! It looks like you took out at the Tupper Lake Boat Launch on 30. Any pros / cons vs. parking at the Crusher launch site?

Fishing is good when it rains. I don't like it no fun but the fishing could be good.
You got that right!
Honestly being from tupper lake at the end of your trip you missed some of the best fishing of your life specially under moody bridge
I never seem to get lucky with the weather while going through there. It's almost always windy!

I fish the Raquette sometimes too. What was the hot lure for the smallies??? Thanks!
Whopper Plopper all the way man
@@DaxWoodsWanderer kinda what I thought....just needed a confirm! thanks!
So what do you do with all your cigarette butts? Looks like at least one ended up in the lake??

Wondered the same thing. Hate to see butts laying around anywhere, but especially in the ADKS!

Very cool!
Love your vids. Planning to do the Long Lake to Tupper Lake this fall. can u tell me where you put in on Long and take out at Tupper?
Public launch, south end is the best access on Long Lake.
Im going to make that trip soon. My camping buddys and i have been talking about it for a couple of years now.
Everyone needs to do this route at least once, it is so fun!
Another great video with some nice bass and a huge pike! I hope to see you out there one day and say hi.
Thanks for watching! Definitely some good fishing on this route, cannot wait to get back on it this year!
