Hi Hakima, many thanks for the honest and detailed review of the line. The pre-shampoo especially sounds like a promising option to try. I also noticed that in your description box, you indicated that the brand is Black woman and POC owned so I also wanted to add a small clarification that it is actually owned by an Indian company Godrej consumer products and from what I saw, their leadership team is all Indian except 1 man who appears to be Caucasian and their board of directors has 2 black women. Also, if you check the african pride 'About Us' page, they carefully choose their wording to say it is 'operated and controlled by Black Women and Brown People of Color.' Ultimately, a good product is a good product so I am not knocking anything; just wanted to clarify that it is not Black owned and doesn't appear to significantly operated by black people from what I saw on the owning company's website (under 'Know Us'). Thanks again for the review of the products.
Hey happy new year! 🥳 Now that I started taking out my protective styles after exactly a month wash day is pretty quick. About two hours including deep conditioning and detangling. If I have matting that’s a different story lol
