I just started watching you today and I literally watched your move-in vlog right before this. It is crazy and it's starting to hit me that I'm going to college in less than two months.

I just started watching you and it's crazy because i really don't want to go to college but my mom wants me to and watching your videos makes me want to go to college right now! It was so sad when I left my freshman dorm room! My roommate was the best and we made so many memories in that little room, we grew up and learned so much together, 861 W forever!!!

How come your roommate didn't start packing up and getting ready to move out along with you?
Tatum Dean people have different move out times depending on when their last final is
Erin Nicole which is rough when you're last and you have to clean the whole place and move the furniture from the walls
I legit moved out before my last exam because my roommate was such a slob and she would've left all of the mess to me. (I cleaned my side and vacuumed the floors, but I roomed with her during the summer too and I ended up cleaning her side too because she didn't clean and if you do not clean, the last person to move out has to pay $1000)

Do u only have to do this if you are moving out of the dorm and living somewhere else because I live in the uk and I hope to go to American university but every holiday do you have to unpack your dorm like if it’s summer and u live abroad will you have to pack like this at summer I’m just confused by this lol
Good question! For the dorms you have to move all your stuff out before summer, but you could choose to store it over summer at school so you don't have to ship things back. If you have an apartment or house then your lease will likely last through summer and you won't need to move out :)

I go to introDUCKtion in a couple weeks and I'm having a scheduling crisis! Did you choose an arc/fig? How many credits did you take per semester (or I guess trimester?)? Thanks!
Oh no!! Scheduling is the worst haha! No arcs/figs for me and I would NOT do it unless you are using an ARC to get into a dorm you want! And I took 15 or 16 credits a term, depends on your load but I took Chem (very time consuming, 4 credits), chem lab (2 credits but very time consuming), another 4 credit kinda time consuming class usually for a gen ed, then an easy 4 credit for a gen ed, and then a PE or fitness class for 1 credit! Hope that helps! Best of luck :)

How did you deal with homesickness in your time away from home? I'm worried I'm going to miss my 5 year old sister too much
Lucky for me I only live 2 hours away from home so it's not too far ;) But I still had nights where I did just want to be home, the good thing is that everyone in your dorm is in the same position and feels homesick too! You will learn to value the time you have together on holidays and the power of FaceTime! It's hard, but it's part of growing up and as long as you keep yourself busy it's not too bad

Bean is not the best because it is so small and you can legit hold hands with your roommates between the beds haha :( But it's close to global scholars and Hamilton which are two great places to get food! And you become really close to your hall mates which is super fun! Oh and you have really nice wardrobes :)

I am moving into my first apartment next year and I'm probably going to buy new inexpensive stuff from Ikea, or buy pieces from friends who are selling their stuff :)

Yep! I am going to university of Oregon again this fall!! Sophomores do not need to live in the dorms again and I will be living in my sorority house this coming year :)

Basically yes! But I am only living in the dorms for one year so next year I will live in sorority house, then I will live an in apartment or house my junior or senior year!
