Nice traditional blues playing, and a nuce lookin’ guitar! I too am about the same age as you. I’ve desired a cherry red Gibby ES-335/45/55 since I was 14 years old; I could just never afford a brand new one, and I stupidly let a couple of good trades/deals slip through my fingers over the years. Anyhoo, I just bought an (cherry) Epi ES-335 for myself (Jan 20th, 2024). All the written reviews and videos give the strong impression that all of the newer “Inspired by Gibson” line are hood quality instruments. Thank God, the redesigned headstocks are no longer an offence and embarrassment. The revamped Alnico Classic Pro pickups are much, much better than the old Epiphone humbuckers, but I do wish the Epi 335s came with the even better “ProBuckers”. Nevertheless, I feel confident that this particular Epiphone model will take care of my 335 desire. If I need to upgrade tuners, pickups, tailpiece, or whatever, sometime in the future, that’ll be ok. The bones of the guitar are actually very, very good. I realize that there are Sire H7s, and Eastman T386s, Ibanez As93s, and D’Angelico DC335s, and others, but for me, I wanted to keep it within the Gibson family. All the other semi hollows are great guitars, but they are copykats; the Epiphone ‘Inspired’ model IS Gibson’s own, genuine ES-335 “econo” version.
Great playing!! I'm a 25 years+ player, and I just bought my first "Jazz Box," a Peavey JF-1. Man, have I been missing out. It takes my blues playing to a new level. I wish I had tried one sooner.
Wow! Great playing and a great guitar!
Oh so sweet! 🎸😜👍

Hi Martin! By any chance is there a video of you & the band doing Peter Greens Need Your Love So Bad?
Hi Mary. Unfortunately that song didn’t make it to our setlist, because we have too many slow songs atm, but later on I’ll try to sneak it in again 😄
@@Thebluesguy that would be wonderful 😍
❤
Sir what are you using for a amp and pedals. Sounds great. I just bought the same guitar 👍
My amp is a Fender champion 100. I use boss bd2 overdrive pedal and a delay pedal . Reverb from the amp
stormy monday?
Yes 😊
Pity they didn't put Gibson pups on this.
Why ? Do you think they sound better ?
@@Thebluesguy They actually do sounds better and clearer, but those pickups are not bad at all.
Lovely playing, sir. Did you use any pedals/effects in this recording?
Thank you . I pretty much always use Boss bd2 overdrive pedal , reverb and a little delay
Man! I’m surprised you ain’t received more comments than you have…sensational playing sir,
