Great review. The casual way you style in the video is the way to go. The silhouette and white stitching screams, “For casual wear only!” Lol Jeans, chinos, 5 pocket cords, casual coats and jackets. Thursday and other makers offer sleeker Chelsea boots that work better w/ slim dress trousers and sports coats or more formal outerwear. I like the last but would prefer a smaller heel stack see Thursday’s Cavalier but that’s me knit picking.

I have size 10.5 in the Captain. Should i get size 10 for the Duke?
I got my first pair of Thursday boots in 2016. Been a fan since. I’ve got 10 pair. That being said, I don’t have to size down or up. I felt like all their boots run true to size. I’ve got the same in all my shoes.
Does it result any type of creases and bend on your leather chelseaboots whem you wear it for an hour or 2hours. Please reply sir 😀😀

Last year I bought the Cavaliers in a size 8 because I wear a 8.5 in sneakers. They aren’t to big and they aren’t to small but they feel like they wobble or slip off when I sit down and move my leg. When I walk they’re fine and don’t feel like they could slip off.
Should I get a size 8 in the Duke or try a 7.5 in them? Would a 7.5 be to small?

Awesome! you wont regret it! I just used some shoe care cream on them every 4-5 months
Brush with horseshoe brush after each wear. Especially where it creases (to remove particles that cause friction aganist the leather). Only use it every other day (have two pairs and rotate them) this is to let the boots dry out completely. Use a shoe tree, it will help keep the shape, prevent creasing and dry "correctly". Apply conditioner about 1once or twice a year.
And those white stitches comes handy for those who wants it, you can simply color them black for yourself issue fixed!
Thats what i did, and i think it looks 100% better than the white contrasting stitching.
I heard other people commented about the insole, it gets hard and flat after a while, have you experience the same?
Use a black permanent market to colour the stitches
I ordered a pair of Thursday Dukes due to all of the positive press they have been receiving online, & they just arrived today. They are beautiful boots, & they appear to be very well made. Unfortunately, they're not for me. I got them in an 11 Wide, & they are actually slipping at the heel, but too narrow at the front of my foot. It's also a shame that out of all of the TH-cam videos I've seen, not a single one mentioned that the arched insole isn't removable. I actually have prescription orthotics I can't put into the boot. They are certainly fine looking boots, I just wish they made wider sizes, & had removable insoles. Given those parameters, what manufacturer would you recommend whose Chelsea boots feature wider widths than Thursday boots, with removable insoles, without breaking the bank?

I absolutely hate the pull tabs on Chelsea boots. They stop the pant leg from coming down.

Don’t disagree, entirely…- have been back to my local branch of Cheaney at least 3 times thinking about their equivalent - but it’s literally twice the price - I know all the arguments, better materials, false economy etc. etc. and the Cheaneys look nice - but I think it depends on why you’re in the market for a pair of Chelseas. I don’t think it’s ridiculous to consider these boots from Thursday as a legitimate alternative - at half the price they may well cover enough of the bases for more people than premium English brands. It’s like Cheaneys do hiking boots - and they look really amazing but there’s no way I’d ever take them hiking if I owned a pair!

I would have subbed here but I haven't seen anything as idiotic and cringe worthy as someone claiming 100k subs after 2 videos and 25k views (after over 2 years of views) without joking. A normal ish view to sub ratio is 1-3% at the start, but this guy was apparently doing 400% smh
