In 1975, my mum and i had a 3 week holiday from Australia to the USA. We travelled by Greyhound bus around California, Nevada, and Arizona. starting from Los Angeles, to San Francisco, Yosemite, Bakersfield, Las Vegas, Hover Dam, Grand Canyon.Universal Studios, and Disneyland. We stayed at the Grand Canyon Squire Inn . We also flew over the Canyon in a Piper aircraft which was very exiting. The bus driver was very friendly, and so was our tour guide. Everyone on the bus had no complaints. The accommodation and meals were first class, and the American people were a joy to be with
Thank you for posting this video. Was looking for one such video for the bus trip and found your detailed vlog. Thanks and keep doing the great work! :)
Wihoooo!! Thank you for watching! You absolutely have to go there! Like we said many times in this video, the footage doesn't do it justice, it has to be seen with your own eyes.
Thank you for watching! Happy that you liked it. We went with National Park Express and the price was around $90 per person. Are you planning do to this trip yourself?
There are actually a few different locations, so when you get your ticket, you’ll have to see where you can get on the bus. We picked it up on the side of Treasure Island, where the 4-way stop in between Treasure Island and Mirage meet. However, when we came back, some people also got dropped off at the Excalibur. So make sure you check to see what your options are.
Thank you for watching! We didn't buy the tickets ourselves (our cousin did). She bought them online and if we remember everything correctly I think we paid like $95 per person
The tour we took only gave the option to either get off the bus at Mather Point, or stay on the bus and ride over to the visitors center at Bright Angel Lodge. I’m not sure if there was an option to get off at the Geology Museum, however, the trail directions were easy. Basically, we got off the bus, walked to the rim, and then walked “left”. Lol. The tour guide just told us to walk “left”. 😂 We followed the trail, and every view was spectacular. Hope this helps!
@@toodalooyall Thanks for answering 🙂. One more question: did the bus company made sure everyone who went on the trip was back on the bus when it was time to leave? I'll be going on the tour this weekend and I am a bit concerned about getting lost, left behind, etc.

I'm exploring Antelope Canyon X with National Parks Express on May 31st, how do I contact my guide? I emailed but no reply, very worried!
How did it go? You made the trip?
Hi can I ask how much you paid for your trip please
Hi there! Our cousin bought the tickets for us as a gift… but I think it was around $90 per person. When are you thinking about going?
@@toodalooyall thank you….September 24
Is there a shuttle bus to take visitors from Mather Pt to the 1st visitor's center? If not, are the trail directions easy to follow?

Oh yeah they counted everyone 2-3 times every time we went on the bus. They won't leave you behind :)!
how long was the ride
We left our house at 5:10am and came back home 10:05pm!
That’s funny as hell. How can you drive a tour bus and not know where you’re going? LMAO😂
LOL! Yeah, totally crazy!
@ Just ridiculous. Glad you had a safe trip. I work at the Grand Canyon by the way.
Why are you with Alan? Sorry that came out wrong!
Thank you for watching!
Good video. Do these buses have toilets?
Yes they do!
how was the food?
It was good! But we're happy we brought a lot of extra sandwiches/snacks. Have you been at the Grand Canyon Ahmet?
