Scratchbuilding Deep Purple from concept art

- This is the build video for my model of the inimitable PenguinkStudio's Deep Purple Exploration Ship.
Materials used:
Styrene sheets (.040 and .020 thickness)
Styrene rods
IPS Weld-On 3 to bind the styrene
Superglue
Exactly one marker cap
Assorted bits from a model tank and artillery gun
A paperclip
Acrylic paints in various colors
Oil paints for weathering
Pewter Rub 'n Buff for shiny
Airbrush used is a Sotar 20/20

cool design and a beautiful build, it somewhat works in 2 ways, as a big carrier but I can see the tower also al a pilot cabin with the flat plain would work as a window making it a sort of forklift hauler type craft

Lovely builds, also like your sense of humor. The weathering on this one seems a bit oversized (not overdone) though, it makes the vessel look quite small.
