The Final Goodbye to Wrath of the Lich King Classic

Next week Cataclysm Classic will officially launch, forcing players in World of Warcraft Classic to finally say goodbye to Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Wrath of the Lich King as an expansion has often been considered one of the best in World of Warcraft's history. However, things did not always go to plan during its time in World of Warcraft Classic. So, let's take a look back at both the good and bad memories for Wrath of the Lich King Classic, before the release of Cataclysm Classic on May 20th.

The people and guilds that I knew and played with. Many of them left in Ulduar and more left at the beginning of this year. I'll miss the comradery more than the content and it's weird to think that after starting WOW to play for the content and not the comradery.

Personally I’m going to miss Naxx, I’ve played the game since original TBC and wrath classic is the first time I’ve seriously gotten into raiding and being a part of a guild, even was raid lead for a majority of Wrath, I’ll never forget the memories I’ve made but I’ll say that Naxx was my favorite part of Wrath

Pre Nerfed ulduar progress was the best fun i ever had in Classic so far, bit disapointed about the post nerfed cata raids :(

Only saw about the nerfs in Cata yesterday - agree, bit of a shame but should still be a blast!

@@SmoothjazGamingTV i have plenty of raiders in my guild who were still in elementary school when cata came out and they wanted to experience cataclysm how we did 14 years ago. Im sure its gonna be fun But blizzard could easy implement a third difficulty mode and Maybe it could drop the same loot like heroic But + 1 item per boss, But it takes time and resources away from sod so probably its not gonna happen 🫠

Very good players and raiders confirmed the nerfs on cata are mostly hotfixes that happened between 4.0 and the rise of the zandalari patch. Post nerf is actually 4.2 with firelands. I trust those people so you can expect to get beaten up by the bosses in heroic, especially with 10 people. If after summer we get another nerf for fireland release, we will know it was not post nerf from 4.2 but actually 4.1

for me, naxx was the worst raid i have ever done so far in wow`s history, so tedius, easy and too long
