Great sharing as always in the A-Z series, and D365 customer insights will also have a consent management with more levels to manage the consent.

In the old days it was possible to select whether you want to opt-in to e.g. a newsletter or only weekly discounts or surveys or something. How you think Microsoft sees this? This is like one global opt-in or opt-out. All or nothing. There is lots in between there haha.

Those were the good old days, and are hopefully on their way back! For now, I have been using Real-time Marketing for Transactional Journeys & Emails so there is no legal requirement for the opt in/opt out options. You could always add a link to the bottom of your RTM emails that still takes them to the subscription center.

Does this mean that there is no subscription center for new customers who only have real-time marketing?

Thanks for an amazing video Megan. You mention you load the consent center once, then how do we make sure newly added contacts appear in the consent center.

Megan, thanks for this clear explanation. Do you know if there is any way to personalize the consent center. The choice field is in english, but can we change this to another language?

Annoyingly no. Not at this time. I really hope that gets introduced in the future, and very soon!!!
