Adding Conditional Content To Real-time Marketing Emails - D365 Marketing

Adding conditional content to marketing emails in the Dynamics 365 Marketing App is not necessarily a new thing, I have written about it before. However, that was HARD for people to use! It involved adding bits of code and trying to figure out where it should go, not to mention looking at the email itself was enough to give you a headache.
If you needed to use one of three possible images, all three would be displayed which meant challenges figuring out exactly what a recipient would see when the email was finally sent to them. All this has changed!!! Check out conditional content in Real-time marketing emails. It’s wonderful! Please note that this is still in preview so subject to change as with anything preview.

Gosh, this is SO cool! The ability to leverage a single email template for various scenarios is crazy powerful and simplifies things significantly. I hate having to have so many email templates that are all quite alike.

You are very welcome Chad!!! This is perhaps my favourite feature that came out in Wave 1... AND it wasn't even in the release notes I don't think. Very very pleased they added this feature.

Thank you for a very helpful and clear instruction of conditional content. However, I'm looking for a way to add the profile photo of the receivers contact person. Each recipient have a linked contact person in Dynamics and i want to pull the profile photo from the contact persons profile card in dynamics. I can't figure out how to do this. Can it be done?

Great presentation. The ability to segment is impressive. I'm considering Dynamics instead of Active Campaign, Mail Chimp
