Hi again sorry to bother again but just wanted to say hey thanks for posting this I heard pieces of this from the bizarre video in Iceland on the tanks so sigur ros...may I please send this to my friend who also is a major Sr fan as me?? This picture is one of theirs?? I love it...i also got to meet the band in 2013 on the valtari tour seriously it was not planned I just walked around the corner of the venue here in stl mo hoping I would get that opportunity sure enough there was a group doing the same...and sure as can be they came out and signed our stuff I had been a fan since their sheet is album and seen a few concerts always hoping to meet the great jonsi and band I felt like a bubbling idiot and a whimpering mouse when I walked up to him and gave him a hug...i felt like I was meeting Jesus Christ! He has that affect on me their last tour was so spectacular! Loved the new songs especially "varda" this album needs to hurry up! You look like a nice young man from one cannot another!
Leslie Kumke The same thing happened to me in Chicago last year! I've been a huge fan since I was 10 (more than 9 years ago now) so meeting them was a dream come true. I was walking down the street and then BOOM my ultimate rolemodel standing right in front of me. I gave him a hug and my dad bragged to him about my Sr covers to my embarisment lol. The new album is gonna top all the others. It's the perfect mix of dark and light, it's gonna me a mediator between all past albums. I love every song to death and I can't imagine what they will sound like when they are finished! This new Soundscape is just what I we needed to keep us on edge... It's so vast and gorgeous yet dark at the same time. Absolutely stunning. Better without the visuals by the Icelandic dance company I'd say. There music explains itself. Just so crazy about their masterful work. These guys are my heros
Leslie Kumke And yes, the video art is original Sigur Ros Art from the Mexico show poster. I feel like it fits the music perfectly. And what do you mean by 'Alien' album?
I met the band after their Portland Oregon concert in Sept. 2016. After talking with the visuals lady before the show, she said "How would you like to meet the band?" - so I wound up chatting with them for over an hour.
Leonard Dixon hi fellow sigur ros fan! Wow lucky for you! When I meet them I could not get out more than a thankyou! A friend I was with encouraged me to get a photo with jonsi too because I was too embarrassed to ask jonsi the great! So glad I did! I was going to be just satisfied with my autograph! In all that for them to come out after a long intense show and being how famous they were they were just the most humble and tolerant of us fans for any conversations signing stuff that impressed me the most! A friend in 2005 had randomly given me their agaetis album a friend had given him...and it was fate an album that would change me...from that time on I became a solid fan their music got me through a very tough period I. My life! Since then i have gone to every tour they have done! Even when jonsi did his solo work " go tour" which was just as special as the regular band stuff! Cannot wait for the new album...this music piece is just amazing! Have listened also to his works with Alex somers his partner! "Riceboy sleeps"? It's a cherished album of mine too! Well thanks for reading this!
Mr. Ovedur, this content is real nice! And i looking forward to hear the album versions of, at least, Nidur, because this is megahit after ovedur. Also, i would like to listen to Varda. Do you know anything of new album?
@@user-lonewolves that makes sense. It's a shame cause orri was a good drummer regardless of if he is truly guilty or not. I hope Sigur Rós can move forward with or without him, if he's guilty I wouldn't want him back in the band tho
@@user-lonewolves he's a great drummer, I definitely want him back. But if he truly did those terrible things then he should be in jail, not free. However, I do hope that he's innocent cause he's vital to Sigur Rós
@@user-lonewolves My favourite is the Berkeley one cause I think this song sounds better without a grandiose presentation. The walt Disney one was good but the Berkeley one sounds more personal and has more emotional depth to me, Jonsi's bowed guitar sounds better without all the backing violins in this song
Also, one of the main reasons I made this video is for those that might be a little too squeemish to watch the original video, or those that have parents or family members that would react like... "What the hell are you watching??" :D I would like people to experience raw Sigur Ros when they discovered this art. Not the Icelandic dance company.
Ha yes stupid spell check did not allow me to type a g a e t I s byrjun alot of folks I talk to sometimes refer it to the alien Festus album because no one knows how to say it properly! He ha ha....is this one song in its entirety do you know?? Well, as mentioned it's pretty damn good!! Hey it was fun talking with you it's always fun to talk sigur ros with another fan....hey that's pretty impressive to became and know their music at 10! I suppose your dad possibly is a fan? Wow to meet jonsi just strolling down the street I mean that is pure ultimate way to meet him...as much as he and the band are so famous now they still are so polite and humble with their fans!! This was surprising to me...i am a huge fan of coldplay also and could never ever hope of meeting chris martin and having his signature! Well, best of life to you and your pursuit of music thanks.
Yes I did see the video of the whole dance piece of the.outdoor oil tunes it was unwavering to me..hard to watch I kept saying to myself what the he'll is that! Yes this photo Definatley softened the enjoyment more! That Icelandic dance company is Definatley unique but very fitting for sigur asthetics for their music probably my favorite video of theirs was v I d vel loftarasa! So unbelievably raw....everything really! So, let me ask what would be your favorite album or song? This is tough I know? Did you happen to see when jonsi did his solo tour! "Go" I did two shows so goood! The man has incredible talent I mean that voice it is just stunning and unexplainable! There is hardly a piece of music they have not created but, "hoppipolla" is my least favorite...alot if folks would cringe at that!

Leslie Kumke And yes, send this to your friend! I'd like to see this video shared, it's a great peace of Sigur Ros music

Pure fucking awesomeness!! They never fail to rearrange my brain and give my soul a wake up call!! Patiently waiting the new album!!
This!! So many layers. Thank you!
Hola amigos soy de México y este grupos tienen unas rolas que te hace viajar a mundos extraordinarios ( utopías) gracias por tanto talento.
Ty so much for share this music
I have had the song a bit longer. I hear it almost every day, I like this hard sound, reminds me of Kveikur
Now this is the type of Sigur Ros material I like best.
love it, but where is the rest. It cuts off as its getting way spookier and better
Good shit
Reminds me of the Ba ba Ti ki Di do project.
