in this video our host Albert Howell learns how to make gravy from our expert Andrea Buckett.
Ingredients (To make 4 cups of gravy):
    Drippings from roasting turkey
    6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    Salt and pepper to taste
    Instructions:
Strain the drippings left over from cooking the turkey into a measuring cup.
Measure how much drippings you have and then top it up with stock until you have 4 cups.
Pour mixture back into pan on the stove on low heat.
    Next make slurry.
For 4 cups of gravy measure in a separate cup 6 tablespoons of all-purpose flour. Add just enough water to dilute it so the mixture is thick but not lumpy.
Bring mixture on the stove to a slow boil and add half to 2/3 of the slurry mix.
Whisk continuously as you add the slurry mixture to your gravy.
Bring whole mixture to a boil. Depending on how thick your gravy is you can add more of the slurry mix to get the desired thickness.
Test gravy thickness by dipping in a spoon. Mixture should coat the back of a spoon and when you run your finger through it, you should see a nice line.
Do a taste test. Add salt and pepper if desired to taste.
