      Dr Grande, you are the bomb! Really enjoying your segments. These computer video games are almost worse than hard drugs. I'm not advocating a ban but once signs of addiction are noticed, should require care and higher attention. The way you capture my attention with your comedic analogies are very captivating and really enjoy the spin.
      All the best and Merry Xmas.

    I have smelled both open sewer and decaying animal carcass. Except for both being foul, there is no resemblance. If none of the other officers had ever smelled a decaying corpse, the dog handler should have recognized the smell immediately.
    The dog probably couldn't find the body because the smell was just everywhere and on everything.

      Yes I agree. Death is sickeningly sweet. It smells familiar but also hard to explain. I have been in a house where the garbage was up to the knees, in every room. It stinks and there’s so many smells that it could’ve been too much for the dog. While not being a lawyer, I believe that in New York State we have a provision in the law called "depraved indifference" and very possibly Rose's failure to aid Adam after he fell down the stairs because she preferred that he die would constitute justification for conviction on some level of homicide. So even if one believes that she did not intentionally push him, she would be guilty on that basis. Probably other states have this provision, as well.

    • @evelynwaugh4053
      @evelynwaugh4053 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agree, but the problem with that is that there isn't much evidence of a crime when a body is decayed. More than a confession is needed to convict someone, there has to be corroborating evidence. This was essentially the problem with Caylee Anthony. Any time a defense attorney can introduce reasonable doubt, a jury may find it hard to convict. Unless it is proven that she sat by in depraved indifference, watching him die, it won't fly. There isn't likely to be video evidence of that, and many other scenarios are possible- not understanding the severity of the injuries, falling asleep, child being ill, not being home at the time, etc.

    Dr. Grande is obsessed with concluding his analyses with alliteration nowadays. It was "f" the other day and now it is "s". 13:29. I think he is rewarding himself for completing a task with a little bit of fun.

    The technique you used is called 'vāj-ārāyi' in Persian. It refers to the repetition of a letter in a sentence or verse that continuously resonates a sound. For example, in this ghazal by Hafez, where he says, 'Why doesn’t my slender cypress lean toward the meadow? / It doesn’t become a companion to the flower, nor does it remember the jasmine,' (سرو چمان من چرا میل چمن نمی‌کند / همدم گل نمی‌شود یاد سمن نمی‌کند) we have the repetition of the letter 'ch' (چ), which evokes the chirping of the nightingale.
    Anyways, the video was excellent as always, Doctor. Have a nice day.

      Pension plans are subject to division for long-term marriages, based on a percentage, which varies by state. Some states divide marital assets 50/50, (community property) while some divide them based on a fair or equitable division (equitable distribution). So if you were married a significant period, your ex could get a significant (30-50%) portion, but they wouldn't get it until you retired. So you could make other investments to increase your income in retirement during that time. Or you can negotiate during the dissolution, perhaps exchanging equity in the marital home for their portion of the pension.

    Evaluating the Life of Rose Chase: Ethical Considerations with Notes of Cranberry, Guava, and Nutmeg
    It's interesting that Rose entertained the prospect of being a veterinarian. This is something I have noticed with those who are not satisfied being a human being-an over identification with animals. It's not that animals aren't worth our time and attention. Lord knows, I own two cats. But as much as I love my cats I fully realize that they are not human beings. Now for my analysis.
    Adam displayed typical signs of a male adolescent: an interest in games, play, and science fiction. These impulses at an early age are quite consistent with Piaget's developmental model of development. At some period of time it is normal for a mind to wonder how things could be different- like what would happen if the moon were a thousand miles closer to earth, or perhaps, five thousand miles closer to earth. Or, what would it be like to have two moons. Adam I'm quite sure Adam was involved in "mooning" unwary pedestrians too. Where then did Adam go off the rails? His developmental delay was a deep connection to video games. This has the tendency to isolate the male individual making him irrelevant to his partner.
    In conclusion, it's time to bring this romance to an end. As Tristan faded from awareness, Adam was destined for a big fall. As Adam isolated himself he refused to become the man he was meant to be. Rose then closed the deal by ending his life. I can't actually say that Adam will be missed. I certainly will miss him, but I'm not sure anyone else will. Thank you.
