Pablo Lemus Everyone keeps saying CLA Vocals sucks but nobody is saying WHY!!! What’s wrong with the plugin? Cuz I use it all the time and it VASTLY improves my mixes
his story is amazing from making a song with thug w/o even seeing him to the leaks which where you can see Alex tearing up and then to Jeffery it's just been incredible. thank you redbull for this
+Sain Laurent no, that's what they say on genius but if ur a true thugger fan u know him & u know it's I met Alex, I know Jimmy, he got racks, there is also logic behind: meeting someone & then saying knowing someone? Get it?
this dude is fucking intense. admirable work ethic and passion. you can tell he really lives this shit 24/7 he even has that mad genius/ computer burnt eyeballs stare lmao!!
yung migo yung migo yung migo yung thugga yung migo yung thugga yung thugga I can't be the only person leaving the video to listen to the songs he mentions
kudos to the interviewer for being very well prepared! great interview I just wished they had talked about 21 and savage mode, I wanna hear some 21 savage studio stories lol
damn this is the first one of these lectures i've watched but holy shit this is just so inspirational and shows you what it takes to make it and really how lucky you have to be
Nah he didn't get lost. 56:32 is when Alex switches to talking about Skyfall. He doesn’t explicitly say “Skyfall.” He just calls it “that track” and he gestures towards the gear on the table where they had just played Skyfall. Start watching from 54:37 to get the bigger picture.
@@ale-sw2br yep, mentions dropping h-delays and a bunch of cracked plugins on each track, whereas the Animal Collective mixing process used an actual h3000. He also points briefly at the mixer on the table, referring to Skyfall which had just played. I had to watch back to realize lol seemed confusing at first
I would love and watch the shit out of a show where Rollie just toured around and talked to artists, authors and musicians. Great call getting him to host. Also, engineering going "post-console" s is pretty interesting. This is my fav interview from this years RBMA. Thanks!
Having to work fast like that has its ups and downs. You can definitely tell some of those tunes are rushed. Especially earlier Thug. But as a producer myself. I under the importance of A.) getting ideas out as quickly as possible before they vanish. B.) Actually finishing projects to move on to the next one. C.) Keeping up with the speed of the new market.
th-cam.com/video/R3Z6fvffLOM/w-d-xo.html for the part when alex starts talking about thug performing with that and the crowd going wild, this is the video
