i personally think he played super well. his timing has been much better as well as keeping his eyes down field for possible opportunities. quite possibly gonna be the face of the franchise

No TD throws but made so really good throws in tight coverage and you can see the chemistry between 8 and 14 especially on that huge 2 point conversion
@@80steen44 it was a drop the pass was perfectly fine he could have easily caught it with 2 hands he always tries to catch the ball with 1 hand for some reason.

Stop trying to cover up for him so much even when it’s blatantly obvious he made a mistake. The only reason Pickens got a finger tip on the ball is because he stretched out with 1 hand. If he would of reached with 2 hands then he wouldn’t of even touched it. Pickett has and will make mistakes. Every QB does no matter if they are rookies or veterans. Johnson’s pass was 100% on Johnson
@@leeskee8142 the throw would have been bad if Pickens couldn’t get 2 hands on it if he wanted to, go back and watch it and tell me he couldn’t of easily got his left hand up to catch it with 2 hands… he was trying to catch it with 1 hand.
He has two noticeable flaws rn. I think pocket awareness and pass placement could both be better. I know the OL is bad but he could step forward instead of scrambling sometimes. It also seems like he throws a lot of passes slightly too high.
He doesn’t have the escapabilty that was promised. Composure and footwork is getting better, he’ll have perfect placement on some balls but then inexplicably have trouble with placement on short dump offs. He can’t seem to do more than 8 yards on a line, has to be arced. I’m not sold on him.

I think he’s getting better, but he still really needs to work on his vision and quickness in terms of reacting to how the play develops.

You havent been watching if you think he doesn’t have good escapability. Been one of the best parts of his game

@@cadep6540 explain the last rollout where he has a clear angle to the end zone for any decently mobile qb. He’s subpar for what is the norm now.
