Not a HOU fan, but the amount of people picking Chargers over them was wild, acting as if HOU was one of those teams that lucked, backed, and stumbled their way in to the playoffs, destined to be bounced quickly, rather than just a team with high end talent, that just kept getting their rhythm broken heavily due to injuries. Respect to a win well earned by the Texans.
the problem is that their offense limped after the lost to the jets, so the texans have had the mojo broken since the jets loss. So theoritically the chargers were the better team. If you watched the Texans since the jets game you would be frustrated with this team. That probably went all in to soon.

Exactly, they let some of these Whyte QBs skate by without criticism they put on Lamar. Trevor Lawrence for example has 1 playoff win and has gotten a few coaches fired. Not seeing we need to trade Trevor, or he's a bust and can't get it done rhetoric yet. Before Lamar got his contract extension, sports analyst were talking about trading a league MVP who's under 30. But yet, championed bums like Kirk Cousins with 1 playoff win. Despite playing 13 years, he's only gone to the playoffs 4 times as a starting QB. Herbert, same thing, been in the league 5 years I think, 0-2 in the playoff, he got a $270 million contract like he's that guy. He's on his third coach BTW as well. Lawrence, he has a slightly better QBR than Daniel Jones which is 85. He got a $275 million contract with 1 playoff win. People scream Josh Allen, Allen QBR is 93, he throws a lot of INTS. This year was just the 2nd time in his career where he threw less than 10 INTs. However, Allen is 5-5 in the playoffs so he can play late in the season. They want Allen to win MVP, I don't even think it's close. Jackson's QBR was almost 20 points higher, he averaged more yards per completion by a full yard. Threw more TDs, less INTs, ran for more yards but less TDs as Derrick Henry took over in the 20.

At no point in watching Herbert in college or pros have I ever seen him take over the game and carry his team on his back. He has all of the physical ability 6'4-230 4.58 forty, but unlike Josh Allen, Herbert never uses his legs or his size to determine the outcome of games.

The Texans dominated the game, so it was their defense who came ready to play all four quarters. Their defense played a crucial role in their victory against the Chargers. They managed to intercept Justin Herbert 4 times and kept the Chargers' offense in check throughout the game. The defensive unit also scored a 2-point conversion after blocking an extra point attempt, which added to their dominant performance.

The Texans have taken a step back offensively this season whether it's been injuries or lack of production but their defense, especially their pass rush, has elevated. It'll be very interesting to see who their next opponent will be in the AFC Divisional Round.

The Texans got a little beat down in the beginning of the game, but because the Chargers aren’t use to playing good teams, because of their easy schedule, the Texans were able to smell blood in the water after that first interception, and then went on a joy ride to win the game.
