Your music choices and editing skills are stellar! It's easy to see the fun you have and feel almost like were right there wit ya Thanks for another GREAT video!
Cold winter day here in Windsor Ontario Canada. This video just seems to warm me up when I watch it. Thanks you guys and ride safe, Wayne from Windsor Ontario
I just said your Killin me smalls to my husband today. I say it to my grandson all the time 😂 . We love kayaking 😍 it's the only sport I can still do with my disability. Hubs keeps a rope in his in case I get fatigued and can't paddle back. Love love love your bike rides. Thank you so much for taking us with you. Blessings.
We have a new tandem inflatable kayak that we've only been able to take out once... But we did like it on that one time... LOL Gotta get it out more before we will put it in our store.... Thanks for watching! 😃
Hi Tara & Chad (aka: Chara) , 👀 this was eerily fun to watch 👀 we did same trip in November ‘18 - de ja vue! After Key West, Ft Jefferson, seaplane, etc we also scored last minute res at Curry Hammock and cooked our full Thanksgiving Turkey dinner right there on site 19!!! It was amazing. Safe travels.
I've been going to the Keys my entire life. I was married in Key West. Go there every year for anniversary. I've never seen a Key Deer. Not once. And here you guys go and see half a dozen or more in one little outing.
We have really only seen them on Big Pine Key. Maybe the next tine you guys go to the Keys, you can check out No Name Pub for dinner and you will likely see some on your drive home. 😊 🦌
@@ChangingLanes We've actually been meaning to go there for years. We're going to have to make a point of it next year. Really enjoy your channel. Also a subscriber! You two have a good vibe. Informative, light, fun. Thanks for doing what you do. I know it's a lot harder work than it looks.
Loved the bit where Chad morphs into Homer Simpson (just after 8 minutes) and exclaims “ Like The Matrix, HE HE HE 😆🤣😂 !”. My 2nd favourite bit is when Chad is told after a huge sigh, “Chad, you’re being, really uncooperative today”! 😳🥺😖🤦🏼♀️ I clearly recognise that tone of voice because, I too am married (30 years in August, if I survive that long)🃏. Anyway always amusing, informative and entertaining on this side of the pond in sunny England 🏴, don’t change a thing guys love you to bits! 👍
First things first, your videos rock!Thank you for all the great info. We are researching this lifestyle so these have been perfect. We ride too so if you are in the area of southern Indiana or northern Ky we would love to take a ride. Oh and those little guys in the water around the mangroves are jelly fish. Cassiopea jelly fish are common among the mangroves of the keys.
Hey folks .... THIS was soooo GOOD that I'm watching it for the second time !! LOL.. Lots of GREAT INFO, (as normal on your channel...), and we LOVE the "out-takes" at the end :) :) :) Like XTRA POINTS ... hee hee ... "Thanks" for sharing it !! Rick S. (Massachusetts)
Shout out from So. Miami; nailed this video and music on point 🏁 Often in the Keys; Bahia Honda State Park is beautiful 🌅 Takes about a year to get a site today..
I need to see the Atlantic Ocean! I live on the west coast and the ocean here is completely different. Thank you for the beautiful video. I always love your music too. Blessings
It’s another great video. Tara, being a pain in the ass is just part of us guys job. Sometimes I forget my real name cause the wife calls me an ass so much. LOL. Thanks guys.
My wife and I have been thinking about a Keys camping trip. We would be bringing our motorcycle down (towing on a trailer) with us; however, we would be camping in a tent. We’ve looked at some camping options on the internet. Thanks for the video. It helps give an idea of what the campsites are like. Too bad you weren’t able to get into the other state park. It would have been nice to see what it was like. Maybe we’ll make it down one day for a camping & motorcycle adventure.
We trailered our bike down one summer and rented a house for a month... Way before we started RVing. Likely lots of tent camping options, including Boyd's... I bet even their tent sites are expensive though... Safe travels! 😊
At least my second time watching this video - excellent. We have a reservation at this park in a few weeks - our first time (after a week at Fort Wilderness - life is hard, LOL). Some of our RVing neighbors are telling us that it is hard to drive a big rig in the Keys - getting there and the the park itself. Your toy hauler fit, so I assume our 40' DP will fit as well? Also, did you have a lot of salt residue after? I plan to give it a good bath - including the underneath. Thanks and safe travels.
No issues at all. Tractor trailers have to run to KW all the time.. No low bridges or branches or anything... We did give her a good wash after being on the water down there... 👍🏼
Beautiful filming of the keys, absolutely gorgeous. The time shot of the sun setting was so so pretty. When you went kayaking, had you done some sort of google to see were you were going to go? For true I would have gotten lost and I'm pretty observant as to where I'm going and how to get back. But when you went into that mangrove area how in the world did you now how to get back to where you started?? That looked sort of scary. For sure.......
Chad, tell us what you really think of your 1 a.m. neighbors! 'You're killing me, Smalls!' One of the greatest lines of all time! Another great video, guys! Oh, and if you haven't already left or passed it by, you should roll over to see Lake Okeechobee! The 2nd largest fresh (?) water lake in the continental USA!
Ty for doing this, cuz I'm sorry you guys can't just enjoy your adventure In peace, without Having to take all of us along with you. Ty for selflessly sharing your lives with us voyeurs. You are way better humans than I are. If i had the luxury of doing what you do, I would not be so inclusive of voyeurs/stalkers/trolls...lol..... so thank you for not being me......hail to the teachers,b that be you....xxoo
I noted the PO2 patch on your bike vest. And when you talked about going into a state park to check it out, but didn't want to pay the 10 dollar entry fee. If you have a VA card, show it to the ranger station and you can get a free park pass for Florida State parks. Works for entry fees. You can also get a National Park pass.
U guys r awesome.... Love the videos, especially the bike rides. Nice bike Chad. Love to get an Indian motorcycle but for now I will settle with my Honda vtx 1300 or my Kawasaki vulcan. Keep up the great vlogs. I camp as well but as a vacation escape
Those jellyfish you asked about are Cassiopea, or "Upside Down Jellyfish". They're actually pretty cool creatures. Great video as always, y'all! Thanks for sharing! Y'all be careful!
I have stayed at Bahia Honda State Park, November of a couple years ago. Nice Park, closest , I could get to Key West, without paying a large site fee. Stayed with a 43 foot Motorhome, sites have some seperation with trees and large bushes. Reserved a couple days ahead.
Yea.. the closer you get to KW in the winter, the higher the rates for sure! The state parks are just so difficult to reserve! Sounds like you got lucky.
Just found your guy's channel, my wife and I enjoy watching. Would love to do the same style of living soon. We live in Cape Coral Florida currently..... Has anybody ever told you that you look like Bert Kreischer.....lol
Used to be, if you paid for "parking" at one FL state park, that gained you access to any other the same day. I have a lifetime military pass. Very nice of my home state.
Hey guys! Love your videos. I don’t know how the captions work or who makes them (all I know is these are not auto generated, someone typed them up) but when Tara speaks it says “Dawn” in brackets. The name is correct for Chad. Not really sure how that confusion would’ve happened but I just thought I would point it out. 😁😁 Update: “Dawn” changes to “Tara” when we see the door to the no name pub.
Thank you so much for pointing that out.. We do use a service to caption our videos and I missed that error. It's should be fixed now. I know Dawn will be upset, but that's just too bad! 😀
Thank you for this video. June 19th is the 37th anniversary that I moved to Marathon. My wife and I live on Flamingo Island. If you ever make it down this way again we will have to do a meet-and-greet. Just a heads up the trailer park at the west or south end of the seven mile bridge is actually Sunshine Key and is owned by Encore Resorts which also owns fiesta Key which is mile marker 70.
We've been wanting to make blog posts on each park and still want to... Just a time thing... But will try to make that happen. Be sure to subscribe on our web site: changinglanesrv.com

Thanks! I was active duty from 1986-1992. I worked as an AT (Aviation Electronics Tech) on E2-C Hawkeyes in VAW-120, then VAW-124. In VAW-124, we deployed on the U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt.
A late response back, sorry... I was probably on TR with you. Two deployments with VA-36 as Ops O and Safety O. Intruder pilot. Keep up the great vids...just saw the one on Carlsbad... flat desert! Lol
Love your videos guys. You don’t know how much I enjoyed them. We were thinking of doing the RV thing but my wife has decided she would rather cruise the Bahamas and the Caribbean for a couple years . We need to sell our house and trade in our 30foot cruiser for a 50 foot live a board trawler . I have been wondering if you folks have thought of trading in the RV life for the cruising life.
By the way, New Orleans is a great place to visit. We live in New York but my daughter had to be married in New Orleans. We had such a great time getting drunk And sobering up for a week.
I think we'll be focused on RV life for the foreseeable future... But nothing says we can't "change lanes" to cruising in the future! Thanks for watching! 😃
When I am denied looking at a campground I go on google maps and look at it that way. But generally if I am denied unless there is something I really want to see I don't stay there or recommend it.
Have you ever been to Connecticut!! If you do go go there I recommend Nelson's family campground in East Hampton ct where I have a seasonal site,or Odetah in Bozra Ct
Really enjoying the videos, editing and music is damn good. Any info on why you chose Indian over Harley or other brands? To each his own, just wondering what helped in your decision. Thank you and keep em coming !
Nice video! Kayaking looked fun in the mangroves! Can you tell me what the name of the song is with the whistling toward the end of your video is? Thanks so much & safe travels!
We get asked fairly often about how to get the music in our videos. We can't use just any music due to copyrights, so we use EpidemicSound.com and Artlist.io for all of our music under a creators license (royalty free). We know that some of the tracks are in iTunes, but many are not. Best way to find out is to use the Shazam app or ask Siri "what's this song" (Siri uses Shazam) as the music part plays in our video. If it's available, Shazam should recognize it and show you where you can download it. Take care and thanks for watching!
The smell may have been conchs, don't know if they still harvest them but they used to stink to high heaven. Oh yea, 70 is not cold, ain't even close, but yes it is considered cold in the Keys. I was just wondering what kind of cover you have for your bike. I'm getting ready to full-time in the next few months and will need a cover for my bike. Any help will be appreciated. Nice videos, thanks.
Do you do anything specific to secure Lucille (besides factory installed alarm) when she’s not in the garage? Looks like a wonderful adventure! Thank you for sharing.
Between Bahia Honda State Park and 7 mile bridge is Sunset Key RV resort. We just left there last weekend. It was great during the week, but on the weekend they get a LOT of assholes from Miami and Ft Lauderdale that are very inconsiderate and loud. Ruins the entire atmosphere, and for that reason we won't go back.
I just bought my RV this past month being new retired young. New sub to your channel. So currently I am doing upgrades for the next few months while waiting for my reservations. But I noticed in the State Parks that offer alot, the minimum amount of time it seems is 6 months ahead and if it's in the keys, up to a year easy. It for sure is not like it was a long time ago. How long did it take you to reserve in the keys? My parents had a summer home in little torch key (26 miles from key west) that I had my own boat and we went several times a year there. Unfortunately during Hurricane Irma, the whole island was hit by the eye and destroyed loads, I am gutted over it. But anyways , how long did it take to reserve? I want to get down there obviously as soon as possible.
Well, I would say that finding a spot in the summertime might be a little easier. If you are looking to get a reservation at a State Park in the Keys during the winter months, I suggest reserving a year in advance, if possible. Even then, it is close to impossible in the winter. We kept checking and got very lucky, but it was easily 8 months in advance. You will have better luck finding availability at some of the RV resorts down there. Good luck! 😃
@@ChangingLanes .....thank you kindly. With getting half off state & national parks , though young, I was involved in a major work accident years ago that disabled me . I can still do things , I just need to use " Canadian Crutch" so it does not limit me from camping , using my boat or anything. I love the 50% off campsite fees but I guess it comes with the price of waiting so long hahaha. I plan on making reservations every 4 to 6 weeks to go camping every 6 weeks so I do not think after a year of reservations, I will have a issue. But for the first year of reservations, I think you are spot on regarding the RV parks. I miss staying in the keys but not the sun coming off the salt water. That is no fun at all.
Thanks! Tara picks all of it when editing. We get asked fairly often about how to get the music in our videos. For about $9 per person they told us we could drive thru - since they seemed that desperate we went elsewhere. All is well that ends well.
Yea... two in a row and at the end of the day... 😠
Wow! That's even more than the $10 they wanted to charge us!
@@ChangingLanes That's crazy! Also, Tara, - we are buckeyes too!
Have you ever been to Connecticut!! If you do go go there I recommend Nelson's family campground in East Hampton ct where I have a seasonal site,or Odetah in Bozra Ct
We did go to Mystic... Loved it! th-cam.com/video/2OHSg2W4ITs/w-d-xo.html
Really enjoying the videos, editing and music is damn good. Any info on why you chose Indian over Harley or other brands? To each his own, just wondering what helped in your decision. Thank you and keep em coming !
I was attracted by the classic styling... then I rode one and loved it! You should take a test ride sometime. Thanks for watching! 😃
Yea.. and sometimes low tide just smells bad too... We just have the Indian brand cover. Works well. 👍🏼
Nice
Bahia Honda is the nicest state park in the keys over all. Curry Hammock has the newest and most space for camp sites.
Love the Cartman.
MY cheezy poofs! 😎
Do you do anything specific to secure Lucille (besides factory installed alarm) when she’s not in the garage? Looks like a wonderful adventure! Thank you for sharing.
Just the factory alarm.... I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to padlock the wheel....
good video
nice

Between Bahia Honda State Park and 7 mile bridge is Sunset Key RV resort. We just left there last weekend. It was great during the week, but on the weekend they get a LOT of assholes from Miami and Ft Lauderdale that are very inconsiderate and loud. Ruins the entire atmosphere, and for that reason we won't go back.
We hate when an RV park won't enforce quiet hours... It definitely ruins it.
Do you carry fuel for the bike on your rig? Or just stop and fill it up when you are out ?
We do have a 30 gallon tank with pump for "toys", but we just fuel Lucile when we're out and about and save that fuel for the genny.
Like your music choice... where did you get it...
Thanks! Tara picks all of it when editing.
