Just saw Alexander perform at the Ravinia just outside of Chicago - fabulous - and he play 7 encores - simply amazing
I enjoy Alexander’s performances. Like what I hear and note that each piece is his interpretation.
I am not interested in setting myself up as a critic.

Alexander Malofeev is still one of a kind! Truly magnificent !
Malofeev and Lisiecki are both like the “great white hope”. Blonde, with their presenters betting on their Arian looks and yet they still can’t deliver the goods but are constantly pushed again and again. P.S. Worst Mazeppa I’ve ever heard.

Нет ничего для глаз моих, зрелища более завораживающего, чем смотреть на игру Александра.
А для ушей- слушать его.
А для души-переноситься в фантастический мир прекрасной музыки.
Мне очень нравится, что Александр своей элегантностью и почти домашним уютом, который он создаёт на сцене за инструментом, очень интеллигентный, излучающий тепло и свет пианист.
Любое Сашино выступление производит очень сильное впечатление на публику.
Вот и на этом концерте, энергия благодарности просто захлестывала зал, а солист сыграл на БИС 5 номеров, и было заметно, что с явным удовольствием.
Вся игра отличается притягательной грацией, освежающая, изысканно-изящная, с фантастической виртуозностью, обаянием и ярким поэтическим исполнением.
Словом концерт удался.

Спасибо за этот исключительный комментарий к запредельному концерту, с взволнованным, все более хорошим пианистом, которого давно не было на сцене для него: страдание, которое нашло отдушину и отдушину в этом концерте. Сложные песни, иногда очень сложные, пять бисов и другие он бы сыграл и добавил. Молодец Александр! Спасибо вам за страстный пост.
Thank you for this exceptional comment on an over-the-top recital, with an excited, increasingly talented pianist who had not been on stage for a long time for him (and thus an even more heartfelt and emotional performance): a suffering, which he found release and release in this recital. Difficult songs, sometimes very difficult, five encores and others he would have played and added. Well done Alexander! Many thanks to you for the passionate post.

А Вы послушайте молодого Березовского,исполняющего этот этюд.Советую.
У Саши проскальзывает подражание Глен Гульду.

@@vcherrrix Malofeev is a lyrical pianist , there are many scientific pianists of the keyboard to day or too meticulous when j think Glen Gould recorded the Goldberg in 21 hours ! ( CBS 1981 j read ) it's crazy it's not that J S Bach , buff j'm stranger to all this meticulousness . .
@@alainspiteri502 not lyrical here. He seems to struggle at certain parts, obvious mistakes, and just sweeping through the passages with mushy sounds. I don't find things like that lyrical at all

It was a very long recital in Verbier and he has a very busy schedule flying all over the world. I'll see him in Amsterdam oct. 1 st. 2022 where he will perform.

@@alainspiteri502 He had also been ill (covid) and traveled a lot. He came back to end the Verbier festival with playing Prokofiev's 3rd. piano concerto.

@@lowkinfeng4468 People are able to critique musicians performance of works without being able to play it themselves. Imagine a conductor that ignores what everyone in the orchestra is doing just because they themselves don’t play all the instruments at a professional level, it would be ridiculous. Good ears, and good knowledge should be respected and not attacked. I support being critical over mindless consumption every time.
Yuncham Lim doesn't make those and articulates brilliantly, with speed, power, voicing and virtuosity. Better than Trifonov. His young confidence is unparalleled
