Just having one cable is a massive deal for me. The original PSVR had cables all over my room and was far too much hassle setting it up, using it and then putting it all away. Definitely be checking out PS VR2

There is. It’s a 1080p screen in the middle of a black void which you can adjust the size of with a slider in the VR quick menu. While in this mode you use the DualSense controller and basically use it as normal. Which is very good because now my family don’t have to kick me off the PS5 every time they want to use the TV

Gave my vr 2 a go last night was absolutely amazing experience and was as good as the reviews made out one thing though is that it was my first proper vr experience as all the other headsets I have tried have ended up straining my eyes , non of that with this I played for two hours until I started feeling woozy 🤣

@@afruit6720 the psvr 2 doesn't have a battery in it, that's why u have to plug it in, also to have a battery that could handle that much resolution and power, it would be extrermely heavy and bulkier plus the oculus has way worse graphics
Shame this didnt sell as well. Its so much better than a meta quest for gaming.
I hope the USB-C connection is secure and not flimsy.
Yeah, honestly it should come with a cable lock to it like what they did with the Dualsense Edge.
It is a permanent connection into the headset.
@@UncleKnighthawk lmao. I mean the connector to the PS5 itself. Also the connection to the headset is not permanent. They’ve shown in the tear down you can fairly easily remove it if you need to.
@@captainpicard6566 I gotcha. I think that connection definitely isn’t as important as the headset. I’m glad they didn’t do a normal USB C connection on that.
@@UncleKnighthawk from my understanding, I don’t think it’s a proprietary connection. I think it’s just regular USB-C. Which hopefully means later down the line some modders can get this thing working on a PC so when Sony moves on to the PSVR 3 we can all still enjoy the headset and new games.
Ik heb het toen gekocht en ik moet echt zeggen ik speel bijna niks 2d meer.
Het is echt 1 usb-c kabel in je ps5 stoppen, je stelt alles 1 keer in en daarna onthoud de psvr2 je speelruimte. Dus 1 keer instellen, de keren daarna 1 kabel erin bril opzetten en spelen maar. De haptics en de trigger weerstand is perfect net zoals bij de dualsense controller.
Er zitten ook haptics in de headset zelf dus als je bijvoorbeeld in gt7 tegen een auto rijd of tegen een muur dan trilt je
Hoofd ook mee en is echt een leuke ervaring.
De headset is super comfortabel en ook het gewicht word perfect verdeeld.
Gt7: is echt geweldig je zit echt in de auto's en het gevoel van snelheid is veel beter. Ook zien alle interieurs er gelikt uit. En de apex is makkelijker te pakken omdat je alles veel beter ziet.
Resident evil village: dit spel is niet normaal het is mega vet je loopt echt in het spel en op plekken waar je nooit zou willen komen.
Red matter 2: spel met fantastische graphics. Goed verhaal en schitterende omgevingen echt een aanrader. Ik vind dit zelf een van de mooiste psvr2 graphics.
Minigolf: leuk spel veel banen, goede besturing en het is net of je echt aan het midgetgolfen bent.
Walking dead 1 en 2:
Leuk spel goed verhaal. Mooie graphics. Besturing is perfect en je kunt er goed je ei in kwijt ( lekker zombies slachten ) ;)
Kayak vr: mooi spel om aan mensen te laten zien hoe vr eruit ziet. Schitterende omgevingen en leuk om relaxt rond te varen en alleen maar kijken naar de omgevingen en de dieren en de vele vissen.
No man sky:
Het is zo mooi hoe ze de schaling hebben gemaakt in dit spel alles lijkt echt mega groot en na de laatste updat zijn de graphics ook perfect geworden. Mooie landschappen en er is genoeg te ontdekken.
Horizon call of the Mountain: spel word verkocht bij de psvr2 terwijl ik zelf vind dat ze beter gt7 erbij hadden kunnen doen of red matter 2. Die graphics zijn veel mooier. Het zijn leuke omgevingen maar het beeld kan scherper en het spel is voor 80% alleen maar klimmen. Na een tijdje zit er geen bloed meer in je armen (lol)
Ghostbusters:
Super leuk spel, mooie graphics en leuk om het online samen met andere mensen te spelen.
Star wars: mooi spel en er zit een leuk verhaal in. Mooie planeten en de besturing werkt perfect.
Pavlov: echt een mooi spel je kunt alle wapens echt pakken en gebruiken.
Ook kun je alle wapens proberen op de schietbaan.
Online spelen is ook leuk alleen dit vergt wel enige oefening 🤪
Ik ben super blij dat ik de stap heb genomen. Ik speel het veel vaker dan gedacht. Vooral omdat het binnen 2 minuten is aangesloten.
Mijn advies koop het, probeer het en als je het niets vind stuur je het terug.
Als je nieuw bent in vr begin dan met korte sessies te spelen.
Je brein moet er echt aan wennen.
Zorg dat je je lekker blijft voelen en op tijd stopt. Geef niet op het kan even duren voordat je er gewend aan bent.
Probeer eerst zittende spellen ( bijvoorbeeld in gt7 in de vr showroom rondkijken ) of stapvoets rond rijden en kijken hoe het gaat.
Je kunt ook een ventilator van een afstandje op je richten dit helpt ook bij veel mensen, ik heb dit zelf nooit nodig gehad.
Er komen heel veel nieuwe spellen bij en er komt ook steeds meer bij in vr.

Just ordered one. With the state of play £90 discount and the Netflix sub offer which offsets about £192, it had an effective price of about £248 for me.

Got one two days ago. Worth the price for Gran Turismo alone, only game over tried so far. Sceptical about Sony's support but it's pretty next level. It's hectic.

@DBZ collector I haven't gotten very far in the game and yes it looks really good, but I'm also amazed with the haptics...makes me feel like I'm really climbing a mountain or something lol. With that game doing what it's capable of and it's a starter triple A it got me amped

You should also mention how the psvr2 uses fresnel lenses which causes god rays, glare, chromatic aberration, and a tiny sweet spot (the area where the image is clearest)
Nothing will top VR2, GT7 and a sweet racing rig!

@ome ripion pc vr is more expensive and has less good games. Half life is the only good game on it and its coming to ps vr soon anyway
@@omeripion348 not only do you need a good rig you need mods to play most racing games in pcvr which end up taking either a long time to setup or end up breaking the game. The psvr2 you literally just plug in the one wire put the headset on and your racing lol no dealing with mods, worrying if it’s even the right mod or some malware your about to install on your computer.

Psvr2 is better by a lot if you don’t have a pc for it. It sounds like you think the quest 2 is better which is basically saying a iPhone is better than a ps5.

The 1 cable set up is a game changer compared to the psvr1 with a dozen cables to set it up
they kinda fixed it with the PSVR 1 slim (ig that’s what we’re calling it lol) but even that was still a hassle even tho it was much less than the launch model.
Its just that I feel like we are already in the goddamn FUTURE. That’s all I gotta say.

Its not future at all man. Its vive pro from a few years ago with higher resolution hdr screen and adaptive triggers. That's entire difference. Now quest pro is a future indeed. Or well quest 3 if you look for unreleased stuff. Also pimax crystal but its money

VR is stupid expensive and for the tech it’s honestly amazing they got it that low. If you’re interested and can afford it i’d recommend it. Definitely the best (relatively) cheaper headset on the market right now.

Quest 2 in the VR world is dirt cheap, it has tens of great features, hundreds of games either standalone pr PCVR, can connect to a pc wirelessly, has great customization accessories, a flawless VR app and is overall much more worth it in this time lmao and you cant really argue this

If you want to play a game on the PSVR2 I would definitely recommend Nock Bow + Arrow Soccer. It’s a really fun bow and arrow game.

I feel like it’s a great purchase IF you already own a PS5. If you don’t have one I’d suggest picking a different headset due to the $1100 price tag. But overall, a great headset

I think it's a bit blurry but i also wear glasses. I like the fact you can see ish where the lenses should be with the setup, small tip. If one of ur eyes is blurry, try moving the VR horizontally a little, not alla eyes are linear! :)

Its more than worth buying already. According to pavlov devs, it runs at a higher fidelity on psvr2 than on a 3090 pc

would be nice unfortunately they went into psvr 1 trying to save money while still testing the waters so they used tech that was basically guaranteeing no backwards compatibility in the future if they kept optimizing things. The 1 camera setup was definitely not the most future proof choice on sonys end

I am picking one up on payday from the site this feels promising to me. People aren't giving this a chance it might be a Meta Quest II competitor at least it's not Facebook. The PlayStation VR2 is still working on good sellers so you might WANT to buy one before it sells out I will hold off on a phone upgrade. I love the controllers and wish Nintendo would make their own VR Headset.
Definitely worth it. Still needs some must play games but there’s some upcoming releases that look really promising. Huge upgrade from psvr 1 and makes the quest 2 feel like a cheap knock off
