Wow! Some of the extra long pauses in this (e.g, at the 2:05 mark, and the very ending chords) really elevated this from a decent performance to "riveting". I feel this song is very deep and very moving, one of Mendelssohn's best Songs without Words. Your performance did it excellent justice. I feel maybe a bit too much emphasis of the melody in the leading sections, I would have preferred perhaps a slightly softer touch leading into the song. But overall your dynamics pulled out a lot of emotion and revealed depth in this song I hadn't seen or heard before. Brilliant! Thank you for sharing.
R06U3 P166Y I do not know how I did the ending so softly. I have been suffering with rag doll like collapses from weak shoulders most likely from old spinal surgeries. I will look for a very soft piece to play if I ever play in public again. Thank you for your nice question. I had to rest a lot during these videos and had to retire from my job as a special education music teacher a few years ago. I have some very soft Brahms done on midi with the help of my project manager Kb. Actually a few years after this comment they found something in my spine, Am under neurological care and only using midi. Thank you for your comment.
I love this performance. Extremely talented.

@@alrosen4274 I think that was a compliment no?
@@thegreatnovel322 Yes, you're likely right. I actually read that originally is "why do you play the ending so softy?" Oops!
Very beautiful playing.

E come un sogno...
слегка грубувато получилось
Beaucoup de sensualité
Opening is wayyy too harsh and aggressive 😢
