I think the Toyota Rav4 Hybrid is the best of all things Toyota, Off-Road, Comfort, Safety, and Technology. Oh yes, and fuel efficiency. This thing gets 40 MPG and seats 5 adults comfortably. I also love the technology that Toyota jammed into this vehicle - all the lane keeping, radar cruising, lane departure warning, and bluetoothing you could possibly imagine! He's back! Hybrid RAV 4 is the way to go. It's even more advanced than the current Lexus NX300 hybrid.
Blizzard pearl = imminent white pearl from Lexus? Not sure but cool if that's the case.
Nx offers hud , welcome lights on door handles and power folding mirrors I still prefer the nx fsport though.

Great review! You should show what the pedestrian warning (angels singing) sounds like when driving less than 20 mph and how loud it gets when using reverse. Some think it’s too loud and looking for ways to dampen or minimize the sound.

Excellent review, a really good look around the interior. This trim level l is called Dynamic here in the UK. I love the white with floating black roof and alloys. Trying to persuade my wife to get one as our next company car. Sadly no Apple CarPlay or Android Auto here yet. Well done. Driving video next?

Hi Brock good to see you making videos again. You study the cars and know about them, most that sell them don’t know much. Lexus salesmen know a more most be required. I was thinking to change Career and sell Lexus the mgr offered me a job after talking a while know much about the card and all the features. What could I expect to earn in a year with bonus and or Incentives on average year ??

Might be a hidden feature on the Rav4, it was on my Honda CRV .. hit unlock then hold unlock again. I'll open all windows and sunroof. If you leave the car turn it off but forget, you can close all windows by sticking the key in from your fob and insert key into drivers side handle, twisting towards the engine it'll close all doors.
Will a full size spare tire fit? Do the rear seats fold completely flat or are they always sloped like that?

Pulled mine out of the dealership 2 weeks ago. haven't really used it much as it i currently my backup vehicle. but so far, I am liking what I see. it is a huge step-up, not just from my 2014 Rav4 or my 2018 Rav4 ... design and features. and the look itself is ...well ... Lux. i was originally debating between a XLE or Limited (Hybrid) till I saw this one. and that was it ... XSE it became, no second options available. Also, according to the dealership, XSE is Limited Produced in volume, hence sells like Hot Cakes when one enters the Lot. we been to multiple dealerships within 30-50 mile radius, and only 2 of them had XSE in Stock, and Only 2 at each, 1 Fully stripped BASIC and 1 Filled to the Gills Uploaded ...
Hey, Brock... great to see you back here again! A friend from my local Lexus dealer asked me recently if I thought we'd be getting any new content from you in the near future. Then, AUTOMAGICALLY, here you are. Hehe... great review of this cool RAV4. I think Toyota has done a real nice job in updating this fine model over the past year or so. My RX350 has the same color as does this RAV4. Lexus calls this color "Eminent White Pearl".

hello sir. i have this the same color with fully added options except the crossbars, had to put a downpayment and waited for few months. i was about to get the NX last year if not when toyota unveil this then decided to wait it out. if lexus only have a nx f-sport hybrid, i probably have a nx now instead of the rav4 xse hybrid. also thanks for the reply on my questions back then when you were making lexus videos.

This car has a combination of characteristics needed for average human: soft suspension (ride, gearbox, motor smoothness), economy, speed and reliability. In East Europe they are selling a lot of them, many are on streets

usfdave10 most all cars you have to plug in to use Apple car play. You can still play your music Bluetooth though
last year i rented a 2018 camry se and i noticed the gear shifts are very bad in ECO mode you can feel the transmission is struggling to find a gear. do you feel that in the rav4 hybrid? or they fixed the programming of eco mode
Its smooth as silk, i have about 1500 miles on mine
The Rav4 Hybrid uses a planetary gearset, it's not a slushbox transmission like in the camry and it's not a CVT like found in the CRV which uses a belt and cones). It's literally just a bunch of gear cogs spinning in a circle and it literally never shifts. It uses the electric motor's torque(from current draw or production) to apportion power between the sun and ring gears. WHich is why you'll never get the herky jerky of modern transmissions with 8, 9 or 10 speeds. The regular RAV4 non-hybrid is having issues with transmission hunting at low speed. It just spins up and stays there at high RPM in the peak of the power band until you're up to speed.
This is the car I ordered at the end of June. I did add the tech package and the premium sound. I'm waiting for it still...

I ordered to same in Canada a couple weeks ago, also with the tech package. I should get it in a couple weeks since the assembly plant is only about 300 miles away in Woodstock Ontario. Can't wait..... I keep replaying all the XSE videos with the blizzard pearl colour..... lol

Shervin I was interested in the C-hr at first but it was meant to be a scion before they got rid of the scion brand. That being said it’s barely good enough to be a Toyota quality and build wise. Basically it’s the car they put you in at the the dealer if the rav4 is too expensive for you. Also it’s a good car for someone who still wants a Toyota cuv but is on a tight budget, you can get good deals on them. The car is mediocre in terms of efficiency and performance. It’s taller than a car but definitely short compared to every suv. Also it’s pretty cramped and visibility is not great. The good things on this car are the standard safety and convenience features and in my opinion the styling. I hope that helps

The C-HR isn't selling very well in North America..... wouldn't be surprised if it gets dropped from our market.
Only hybrids I care for are Toyota's because of the helical gearset in the CVT... other manufacturers don't have this other than something similar in the newer Honda Insights copying Toyota. Super dependable/reliable... never heard of a high mileage trans/cvt failing... shifts the same at 10 miles as it will at 500k miles. I'll change out batteries any day than a transmission... huge reason why I purchase the hybrid over an auto-shift trans with gears.
Based off my test drive: Compared to the Lexus NX, the 2019 RAV has quite a bit more wind noise especially from the side mirror area. Road noise in the RAV was a little louder but totally acceptable. Motor on the RAV is much buzzier when you put your foot down.
Overall it is the best RAV yet, especially the hybrid. I like the styling of the previous generation better but that's subjective.

Hybrid is 40 MPG, non Hybrid is 29 MPG. Break pad change after 60,000 miles... Very less damage on environment...

Wakandan Knight Lexus has an LF-1 that is in concept now that’s SOOOO cool and autonomous. Search TH-cam. It’s incredible
You can have a self driving car for about 10 seconds with lane trace assist turned on, along with the adaptive cruise control.

Only complaint with mine is when you finally do have to fuel up it shuts off the pump gallons before full. I’m told this is do to the vapor containment system. Other than that couldn’t be happier
Fog lights not being led is a slight annoyance but soon to be rectified.
The Ben, I had problems filling to full until I waited to fill up until the low fuel light went on (approximately 2.5 gallons left)
The miles to empty is only an estimate.
I had 40 miles left to empty when the fuel light went on but I estimated I could go another 100 miles to empty.
I would not recommend it with a hybrid but you have about 100 miles after the low fuel light comes on.
Yes it’s a pain in the ass Fill stops at 8.7 gallons (forget if it’s a 12 gallon tank) I never get to put 10 gallons in it even when the yellow light comes on it is a pain in the ass getting up to 300 miles a full tank and have to constantly refill there is no fix at this time

what is this, a motorbike? My hybrid takes 5W-30. Since that's the slickest that's around.
I guess they want you to bring it to a Toyota dealership for the oil change & its also synthetic oil. You only have to change it every 10,000 miles (16,000 km) or 1 year.... whichever comes first.
So why don’t you just set the temp to 72 and auto instead of Lo and manual fan speed? Kind of defeats the purpose of AUTO climate control if you are going to treat it like a 1957 Chevy climate system.
I can't deal with that design. The scowling grille and the odd shaped wheel wells. At least the 2020 version will support Android Auto.
