I absolutely love this filter.
I’ve been using a cheap ND filter I got on Amazon and I hate the vignetting and also stacking it on top of my other filter - can’t wait to try this one! I love how it’s all in one! Been thinking of buying this and then this video popped up in my feed so it’s a sign now I have to!

Very nice video! What do you think about 1/8 mist filters? (you say you prefer 1/4).if i use 1/8 i will able to remain the details and sharpness of a good lens? Also you use all the time the filter? Thanks

Thanks so much! This was shot in C-log but I have been using a standard/neutral profile and just tweaking it a bit. Love the color right out of the cam

Love the production value in your video. You certainly deserve more subscribers if this is the level of video you are putting out.
Just one bit of feedback, maybe it’s just me but I find it really distracting listening to you when there is vocals in the background music as well. Maybe use an instrumental version of the song when you’re talking.
Apart from that, brilliant video 👍🏻

Thanks for the video! I have come back to it a few times this week as I am looking at purchasing one of these soon. If I were to get the Polar Pro ND + Mist, would a black pro mist 1/8th match well for shooting something like interiors or for a second cam? Or should I just get 2 Black Pro Mists and stack NDs onto them?
Thanks so much! Great questions. I would highly recommend the Polar Pro combo and a black pro mist 1/8 filter for your b cam to match. Or if you can afford two polar pro mists.

Hey man. Great work have been watching your videos today and I'm going to subscribe. Quick question. I have a Sony a6600 with a 18-105 lens. How do I know what size pro mist filter to get?
Hey! Thanks so much for reaching out! There should be a number on your lens or you can look up the specs of your lens specifically if you dont see it. Is your lens the Sony E PZ 18-105 F4? If so, that is a 72mm thread according to Adoramas website. Hope this helps!
Yup that is exactly the one thanks a ton! Life saver. Could I ask one more question? I find that sometimes, my footage looks a little grainy. I'm not sure why. Any ideas as to why?

What camera do you recommend to start wedding video with a budget of 1500 dollars? @Wayward North Nice video!! Some day i will buy this filters!!
1500 one of the apsc Sony's but if you can swing 500 more or you can get one used look into the Panasonic S5. It's a super underrated hybrid camera so it'll take some very nice pics and it's an absolutely stellar video camera. The stabilization is so good you can get by without a gimbal for the majority of stuff you do. But just research there's a bunch of cameras out there. Look at some reviews and pick which one you think suits you best. But personally I'd recommend the S5
Hey im looking to try this type of look for a wedding a have coming up this weekend. Do i need to use the filters on my backup camera during the ceremony or do you think its fine?
You can definitely get away with not having them on your backup cam. It’s easier to maintain consistency as the non filter cams would just need a little finessing in post
Do you still shoot in c log on your r6 with the mist filter?
Great advice! Isn’t there a simple way to add a glow effect to mimic this though?
I’m sure there is a way to digitally add this look but in my opinion, going the more practical route and achieving everything in camera is going to give you a more authentic look.

Haha the filter is pretty magical but it isn’t that magical. The hair was a quarantine experiment lol
Hhhmmmmm I don't know I really have to try it out. I prefer an vnd without Mist so I can choose if I want it or not. I think freewell has a nice system with magnetic so you can choose. I am not sure that is the brand.
Do you normally reduce your camera’s sharpness when using the Black pro mist filter on your lens?
that's how it is. with all filters it happens, both expensive and cheap. It is no longer just one glass that passes through the light, but when you put the nd filter there are already two and it reduces the sharpness

My favorite lut pack right now is the Forestry Films Native Presets. So good!

Does it work with any lense?
They have different size threads for you to pick from. Most sigma,canon,Sony glass range from 72-82mm but if you can’t find your size you can consider getting step up or step rings as well
