Ooooh the white balance tip was solid! The last wedding I did had so many different lighting situations soo I’ll definitely be keeping that in mind 😮💨👌🏾
It can be soooo challenging navigating mixed lighting conditions. I certainly never get it perfect every time. But these tips have helped me!
Love your videos man. Especially the style of your videos is super calming to me. thank you :)
Thank you so much! That means a ton seriously. So glad you are here 💪
this video is brilliant! So true ❤
Glad you liked it! 💪
as usual this is o helpful!!! Do you use auto iso on a wedding? or manual ISO?
Solid and helpful tips
Appreciate you!!
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Thanks For The Information Brother !
Thanks for watching and hope it was helpful!
It really helpful
Glad this video was helpful in some way!
A lot of Canon cameras don't give a reading when on Auto White balance (Canon R6, R6ii, R5, and all older Canon cameras that are the cinema line).
True gotta use the old eyeball approach or a light meter would do the trick!
Thankyou
You are welcome!
Do you adjust any settings IN CAMERA when shooting in either slog or s cine? For Example, adjusting contrast, sharpness , etc.
No color adjustments when filming in S-Log or S-Cinetone. I film with the default settings for both profiles.
Love the content! what nd filter do u recomend?
Thanks so much! I use the NiSi swift system. I did a review on them here! th-cam.com/video/ZrSe3ooBmxc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FcjFmhR0cKliy5q0
Mist Filters are clutch. :)
You know it!!
Could you do a video on advanced tips as well?
Coming right up 💪
I just looked in your description for your gear list and think I’m going to give the amaran 60x s a chance ! Do you use any sort of diffusion with it ? Or do you just use it as it comes ? :)
I just use it as it comes! Great lights for wedding receptions
@@WaywardNorthah perfect ! Thank you for replying so quickly!
Yeah I’ve been meaning to upgrade my current lighting setup, sometimes I feel like it’s still kinda dark with the ones I use haha. Do you just run 2 of them?
Of course!@@VietHuynh Yeah I run two of the Amarans and then I have a new light from Zhiyun ive been testing. But two lights are plenty for reception!
@@WaywardNorth How are you liking the Zhiyun one so far compared to the Amaran??
@@VietHuynh it’s great! The battery isn’t as good but the brightness is insane
Forgive me if I'm wrong but isn't the 60fps footage @ 4:50 looks choppy without slowing down in the post?
In this case I will agree it is a bit more choppy due to the lack of ND filter, high shutter, and handheld movement. Not so much 60 fps but all those factors combined
@@WaywardNorth but 60fps in 24fps timeline must be slowed down by 40% or else the frames gets skipped resulting in choppy footage or two things can be true at the same time (high shutter speed). Gerald undone has done a great video on fps, you should check it out.
@@varunsabari4250 Love Gerald’s work but the filmmaking process is subjective. What works for one, doesn’t always work for another, filming in 60 is a choice. Exposing with your Shutter is a choice. I don’t want ALL moments slowed down in my edit but picking and choosing between 24 and 60 throughout a chaotic wedding is also not ideal. So this process works for me.
