Soulbound is a *great* system to get into! It's super flexible and really leans into the heroic action of the Mortal Realms. In our campaigns, we're trying a lot of new ideas!
Love Wrath & Glory, the dice pool, DN, etc. I was so hoping that Soulbound used the same mechanics and so disappointed to learn it did not. Boggled as to why W&G and Soulbound were not made cross compatible.
It is sad that in my country the translation and publication of Soulbound still delayed and postponed all the time - although WFRP 4ed is actively being sold and even the Wrath & Glory corebook has already gone on sale. I will definitely buy a starter set of Soulbound in my native language to support this Good Deed.
Man, I Love Wrath and Glory, the dice pool and DN system is my favorite. I stopped playing DND and dove into WaG. Soulbound looks like it will hit that fantasy itch
Figured id throw in a reply as I stumbled upon this now and saw you didnt get a reply yet :) Of course you can, every and any roleplaying game is playable with just one player and a GM. If it will be fun or not is entirely up to the two of you, but there is nothing rules in the rules or mechanics that should be an issue at all.
Physical copies should be hitting stores between November and early January depending on where you live and the shipping requirements of your area. If you are looking to buy from a local game store, I would mention it to them now so they know to order some! There have been several other books announced. You can find an update here: www.cubicle7games.com/age-of-sigmar-soulbound-upcoming-releases/ The Starter Set is available for pre-order and digital download now. The first part of Shadows in the Mist is also available, with more parts coming soon.
haven't got the book yet, but I would guess it is limited to 1 extra action per turn... so you could get 1 extra action for 4 turns rather than 4 actions in 1 turn
I've been letting players use em all in one turn since they only gain one back at a time. It hasent been a problem and since I'm throwing so much at em to make it feel epic they need to be able to. I was worried of them being to powerful at first comming from 5E but for this system it haseng been an issue ^^
There's still a lot of work you guys need doing but I commend you in delivering an actual fully fledged gaming engine for Age of Sigmar. Question: how does one GM deal with a group of adventurers that take advantage of called shots? The manual says that any other modifiers to Defence step or damage taken by that creature can be mitigated by the GM by rule. What's the ruling on this particular aspect?

Where is combat vid?
So if you have 4 Mettle can you use those to get 4 extra actions ?

Yes you can use all 4 in one turn. Bit It would take you 4 turns to replenish them all
@@nolanlarocque2967 uh... If I was GMing I would probably limit that...
@@marcelosilveira2276 and I would be cool with that if I was your player. I'm just talking about what raw says

Not an official ruling but maybe them are just to tough to be affected buy the attack. Or make your enemies have higher defense
Helpful but why does it seem like the guy teaching was half asleep?
