The nitty-gritty of character creation is one of my favorite parts of any rpg, and this looks really good. Relatively straightforward, but still giving the players a lot of options (the training/focus element for skills looks really good, giving the players several avenues to improve their chances of success). Looks like I'm picking this one up!
I am a long time D&D player and find Soulbound to be very intriguing. The lore of Age of Sigmar is what drew me to the game and now that it is a RPG it is like everything has come full circle. I would love to hear your continued ideas on Soulbound. It would be interesting to hear the lore that develops around your campaign. I am starting my own Soulbound campaign soon so hearing about others play sessions will be inspiring and helpful.
I’d love GW to make specific minis for this, in like set boxes or something. I know some of these are pre-existing models, and that’s cool and I love it. But I’d like (for example) a specific “battlemage” mini with a male and female option and lots of little cool optional bits in there for customisation and stuff. They could put out “party” boxed sets with a few archetypes in there. I’d eat that up! Anyway, great video and tutorial, thanks buddy!
Great video! Just picked up the starter set today! I was very confused by all the numbers on the characters sheet but this video has really cleared it up thanks! Looking foward to playing it!
Huh, there is a certain video game (that will remain anonymous) that uses a similar skill point ranking system for XP cost, which is the only other place I've seen such a system used. Pretty simple and straightforward, just amused that I've not seen more games do it that way.
Hi Dug :-) I would love to join a campaign. But struggling to find anyone who is playing the setting. Would you be able to help/advise I live in the UK but would be willing to join a campaign in the US if there is space :-)
It's a very niche game but you might try looking through the roll20 . net forums for the LFG posts. I haven't looked yet but there might also be Facebook groups for the game and maybe your local hobby store might have leads. I included those in descending order of what I think is likely a good lead. I'm a brand new GM to this system and am stocked with players otherwise I'd bring you aboard
You might also try the Soulbound Discord server here: discord.gg/MCCEJVYECF And while I know you said you would prefer to play, you might also consider GMing your own game that uses a rotating GM model. You start off running a small adventure for 2-3 sessions, then once it is concluded another player takes the GM role. Just a thought!
I don't really see how right now. It doesn't go in depth into the Eight Points (at least not deeper than the core book for Warcry). I guess it could help with flushing out a backstory, but then, about any book could help with that aspect
Hey Jacob! Well, sort of in a way. I mean you can write, for example, a Stormcast character that feautures in both... but unless you want to stop the RPG session and play Warcry every time theres a fight (to represent whats happening in the story) I dont see it :/
A little disappointed they don't have necromancy rules with how prominent they are for one grand alliance. I could imagine using the undead against the forces of nagash
I get that for sure. I can absolutely see an expansion later with some rules for it, I imagine that would take a bit of page space to address many of the player interactions.

yay!!!! :)
Needed a refresher and I'm back here again. Still love this video buddy
My gods this was so helpful! It’s all becoming so clear with how you explain it
It seemed like a lot until I worked through it bit by bit haha

wonderful! Ill keep the content coming :)
I would love to watch a soulbound campaign with the rerolling one's gang. have any plans for that?
I second this.
I agree! Those guys would probably really bring the setting they use to life
I’d listen for sure
Nice video. Easy going and easy to follow. My grown up sons invited me to join a game so this gives me a head start. Thanks.

Miniforge them ;)
Great video! Really introduces the concepts presented very well
Much appreciated!
Yes, it helps very much! This series about Soulbound RPG is very much needed. Thanks for doing it.
This is a great video. Really a great help to get me and the whole group to understand it better. Thanks
Woooooooot. Super helpful thank you boss!
Glad it helped!
I really hope they do supplements for each Realm! That would be awesome
RIGHT?!

Thanks for the Video. I have the Core Rulebook and the Starter Set. I would love to get my group into AoS Soulbound!!!
Good luck! It's super fun!
It's morrowind (and maybe oblivion not sure) where fist fighting drains the enemies fatigue and then health. Skyrim you just damage health
Aw gotcha!! Yes, I was thinking Morrowind, which I just recently picked back up
Loving the Soulbound content
Yay!!! So much more this coming week!
just linked my players i am running this on wends days starting tonight and think this will help them , they are not aos fans like myself

I wont lie... I'm very out of the loop and dont know the game haha. My nerd cred is sinking by the moment
@@2Tough Oh, no, be glad you don't know what it is haha. There's a reason I didn't drop the name.
Wait wait where are strength, dexterity, constitution, wisdom, intelligence, and charisma?? You can’t have an RPG without those! 😉

@@biofoot7874 thanks, I have tried role20 with not much success. If you get space feel free to drop me a message
Thanks for the tips though
@@BlindTimeLord will do and all the best to you!

Can any of this book be tied into a solo narative campaign for warcry??
