This is not just a "collection". *Vice Museum* is what this is. A vault of history and knowledge. The displays are so well done. Not only technically complete, but *organized*. As much of a vice freak that Stelter is, he is asking for more info. Our host Jesus is a vice scholar. Professor of vices. And giving props to other vice scholars, totally class act. This is Disnyland level vice experience. Thanks to white dude Will for filming, and *mad respect* to badass cholo vice master Jesus.
Haha I love this guy. People who have such passion and focus on one subject are some of the coolest people to hang out with. This guy has a story for every single vice he owns. This is so cool. I’m so glad this is being documented on video.
What I like most about Jesus’s collection is that he acquired it from loads of different passionate peeps, we all dealt with Jesus one way or another, always fun and his passion is contagious. Bravo hermano 👌👌👌
I'm not sure why but these anvil/vise videos are some of my favorite of all. Maybe it's Wills passion and joy of the tools just jumps out of the video at you. Love it
Being a collector myself, I get the drift... I never owned a vice, but still. LOVE the fact that you, Will, give that grey vice to your friend - knowing, you will not get it used, and that it will be greatly appreciated by Jesus, adding value to an already VERY impressive collection 👍👍👍.
I have a 1" clamp style vice I have had for years. I don't use it but it has always been clamped down somewhere in my shop to show off for as long as I can remember.
Walker!!!!! I can't wait for that video! I will not carry a folder that doesn't use the walker lock! It simply can't be beat for daily use convenience.
Astounding vise collection! No fractal jaw vises? I'm aware of two styles, don't know the manufacturers though. I have a tiny vise my dad said was the first vice his wife gave him... Ha ha dad! I've got about five or six modern machinists vises. I'm still looking for a decent leg vise. Almost seventy, and just starting with smithing, cause it looks like fun.
Got 2 6 inch Dawn offsets in my workshop. The workshop I used to work in had over 20 of them. Everyone's bench had one. When I left I bought my bench. The other vice I broke the moving jaw, 😢. You can still buy them new. They also make fabricated ones now. Cheers and G'day from Tasmania
That collection is incredible! I kept waiting to see the vise That I’ve got, it’s a Columbian 206 M2. It weighs about 160. I love this vise, is super smooth with very little back lash. Only bummer is, it’s missing pipe jaws. Very cool video, you guys sure know your vises. Listening to both of you talk about history on each brand was very interesting. Thanks
Great video awesome collection! Did not see any English vices in the collection, the quick release they had is awesome and Record made some big vices up to 10 inch jaws.
God that bugatti vise with that stand is just incredible! and to find that at an estate sale, OMG. I love the wiltons but man that bugatti is one sexy vise! amazing collection and thanks for doing a tour!
So this Hey Seuss ( 😁) has quite the collection! I'm not sure if it was vise from Will to look at all that stuff - mentally he surely made a list in his head... 😜😜
What an amazing collection! Last year I have seen a 180 mm Eikar. The owner told me, that it has a weight about 73 kg. My 150 mm Eikar weights 54 kg. Mounting it on my workbench was a piece of hard work.
@@rallerandale8322 I have never postet videos or pictures here. I have to look first how to do that. Maybe that Will Stelter is also interested in pictures. Than I could send them to him with the friendly permission to show them in the next video. I could also take pictures of my other four vices.
When I was a teen, we had a derailment right next to our school, my 2 brothers and bunch of classmates tried rolling one of those loose axyls, couldn't budge it.
Will you should give us a video tour of all the vises you have. Awesome that you have a 109! Through BVF you should reach out to Neil he let me know he is in the process of making an all steel reed clone with 12” jaws! He’s the awesome guy who is making the all steel reed style 102, 202, 302, and 402
Really enjoyed the video! I found and restored a Parker No. 105-P, but I can't find a ton of info online about it other than manufacturing dates. Any resources you'd reccomend?
oh yeah dawn is super common in aus i acctualy used that vice in the vid at work we abbused tf outa it haha probably needed new jaws to stop everything from slipping but still solid vice
Wow! I have one baby bullet that I bought NOS (and paid dearly for it) I couldn’t imagine actually using it for rough use. It’s really more of a display piece on my small bench. That’s the extent of my “collection” 😂
We do use that spelling of vice…. But not to mean a tool. Vice refers to the opposite of a virtue whereas vise refers to a tool that clamps onto with significant locking pressure.
You are friends with Jesus who else can say that! He is the Vice President of the world! Nice film by the way! It's so nice to see that you are also super knowledgeable and passionate about your vices!
Great collection thanks for taking the time to share with us. Some of the footage was very jerky and would have liked if you focused on the videos you were talking about for longer so we could enjoy Thier beauty and engineering
I’ve got one on my bench too. Their massive, mine weighs about 160. Only bummer is mines missing the pipe jaws. Not much info out there on them and I’ve only seen one for sale on eBay last year. I think you found a gem, clean it up and make it your user vise. Congrats
Amazing collection. I enjoyed this way more than I expected. Another subculture I had no idea existed. What do you call yourselves - The Vice Squad? (Sorry, typical dad joke.)

Normally it would be a sponsor for today's episode it's Ad-vise.....
Holy vise fetish!
I thought the Italian collection of anvils was awesome but this is a different level is incredible
Thanks to everybody that had anything to do with making this video spectacular.

Thanks to white dude Will for filming, and *mad respect* to badass cholo vice master Jesus.
One might even call him the Vice Chancellor of the University of Work Holding
I just saw museum in comments. Most museums wouldn't have that many examples! Insane collection! Over the top! Spectacular! Reed 209!
Haha I love this guy. People who have such passion and focus on one subject are some of the coolest people to hang out with. This guy has a story for every single vice he owns. This is so cool. I’m so glad this is being documented on video.

Considering your age Will, I love listening to you geek out on the history and style of these collections..brilliant.
The joy in his voice is contagious
Jesus is such a chill dude, aside from having the best collection in the world 🔥
Woahh. AMAZING collection.. thanks for taking us along Will !
That was the most amazing collection. Excellent job keep up the great work.
That dude's got a vice grip on the best vice collection!
My dad grew up in Athol, MA and my grandfather was a manager at the Starrett factory. So cool to see all those vices and the marketing material👍🏻
What an amazing collection Jesus! Man, I'd love to see that collection in person one day!
Amazing collection - particularly the Reed 209, Hollands 29 and Chas Parker 260X. Loved seeing an Australian Dawn 6OS on its own stand 👍
There’s nothing stranger than collectors……cool though.
Thanks for sharing this with us Will. 😁👍🏼
That camera skill @WillStelterbladesmith is making me feel like I’m watching a Jason Bourne movie! Whew! Dizzying!
Anyway, great vise collection!
2 vice nerds nerding out on vices 👍
Damn Hey Zeus has a sick collection!
I want the Fireball Hardtail Vise I can't wait to get one.
Amazing collection. I'm an 80 year old iron worker and never seen hardly any of these beautiful masterpieces Dandermit
Unbelievable collection Amazing
You need to convince him to sell you one of those shop cranes and restore it for self use!
Those things are friggin sweet!
It's really fun to watch people who are passionate about things. Great collection!

This dude's gonna slow the earths rotation with all that iron in one spot.
Wow thats just a wow collection and I've no idea there was so many types of crazy vices thats awesome
That is a great collection. Thanks

This is absolutely a wonderful collection and insane.
You Sir, are a proper nerd! Respect!
I would love to find one of those shop cranes and the little model one also.
Great video awesome collection! Did not see any English vices in the collection, the quick release they had is awesome and Record made some big vices up to 10 inch jaws.
Was thinking the same! Records are everywhere in England & here in Ireland. I have 2, both quick release (25 & 34)
He should run for Vise President!
Ok you win
17:05 "I restored this vice for fun and then I blacked out and when I woke up I had a massive collection of vices" hahahahaha
So cool that you have all that stuff from @Jer_Schmidt’s old shop!
All i can say is wow !!
Oooo excellent. Vamos a México 🎉🎉
Awesome collection. Thank you 😊
Missing an Emmerts turtle back pattern markers vice, also I don't see a fractal or lighthouses with the triple jaw
13:10 lol what a great collection and a great bloke aswell
Great content thanks for sharing
Never seen such a den of vise.
God that bugatti vise with that stand is just incredible! and to find that at an estate sale, OMG. I love the wiltons but man that bugatti is one sexy vise! amazing collection and thanks for doing a tour!
Those German anvils are just absolutely beautiful
So this Hey Seuss ( 😁) has quite the collection! I'm not sure if it was vise from Will to look at all that stuff - mentally he surely made a list in his head... 😜😜

What an amazing collection!

Can you get us some Pictures or maybe a video
@@rallerandale8322 I have never postet videos or pictures here. I have to look first how to do that.
Maybe that Will Stelter is also interested in pictures. Than I could send them to him with the friendly permission to show them in the next video. I could also take pictures of my other four vices.
That was awesome, makes my 150lb Parker 375 look like a baby in comparison.
Awesome too see one of our Aussie vices over in Jesus’ collection! 🤙🏻
Wow that is amazing
Oh my lord, I just found another bad habit, those cranes are frickin gorgeous.
When I was a teen, we had a derailment right next to our school, my 2 brothers and bunch of classmates tried rolling one of those loose axyls, couldn't budge it.
I want one baby bullet, can't find one for a decent price and this man has 10 of them.
Good vid. I have a Dawn 6" Offset Vice. Uncommon in Australia, due to size and weight >50Kg.
I have one Wilton and it's old I had it restored. I wanted to get more for no good reason but I can't imagine this collection.
That's gotta be one of these heaviest garages around 😮
My favorite vise is the Leinen style vise.
His vice is vise. Will, look into getting a small steadicam setup for your field outings.
DAWN VICE!!
I don't really care about vises, but I care that you care.
Will you should give us a video tour of all the vises you have. Awesome that you have a 109!
Through BVF you should reach out to Neil he let me know he is in the process of making an all steel reed clone with 12” jaws! He’s the awesome guy who is making the all steel reed style 102, 202, 302, and 402
I get it! I predict you will get into vintage cars and trucks...
Impressive 😮
What a vice to have, collecting vises 😆
Jesus is awesome. I was thinking William in NJ who has an insane collection
I want one.
No Record? The best vice in NZ!
Wow Jesus is the man! Awesome collection of great vices! And my wife thinks im crazy for my very small collection 😮
I’ve got a miniature yellow Stanley vise..
Awesome 👏
Wow! I have one baby bullet that I bought NOS (and paid dearly for it) I couldn’t imagine actually using it for rough use. It’s really more of a display piece on my small bench. That’s the extent of my “collection” 😂
they are cool just did a small one for my watchmaker shop i love them all lol
Whoa, there's a NEW Mexico now. Where'd they put it?
Today I learnt that Vice is another word that Americans spell differently to us Brits.
Or... More properly said, spelt incorrectly there, correctly by us.
We do use that spelling of vice…. But not to mean a tool. Vice refers to the opposite of a virtue whereas vise refers to a tool that clamps onto with significant locking pressure.
Vice also means hold or grip . A person’s vice has a hold on them
You are friends with Jesus who else can say that! He is the Vice President of the world! Nice film by the way! It's so nice to see that you are also super knowledgeable and passionate about your vices!
Jesus is invited to the cookout for sure
This is way off topic but is that block wall outside, was that done by the essential craftsman on TH-cam ?
A man of many.... vices....
Man introduce this guy to your friend in Italy
A have a Wilton off set vise that i think was made by Dawn for Wilton
There are two Athol 618 vises down here in Austin, TX
Great collection thanks for taking the time to share with us. Some of the footage was very jerky and would have liked if you focused on the videos you were talking about for longer so we could enjoy Thier beauty and engineering
@Willstelter you've got a telegram me scammer in personating you, reported.
I wonder how rare a Columbia 206 vise is? I picked one up for $100 and can't find any information on it.
I’ve got one on my bench too. Their massive, mine weighs about 160. Only bummer is mines missing the pipe jaws. Not much info out there on them and I’ve only seen one for sale on eBay last year. I think you found a gem, clean it up and make it your user vise. Congrats
It's like a vise retirement home for vises that will never work again.
Aussie vice nice
Where's the Erie Mogul 10"? ;)
Amazing collection. I enjoyed this way more than I expected. Another subculture I had no idea existed. What do you call yourselves - The Vice Squad? (Sorry, typical dad joke.)
Sensacional um lugar desse é só energia positiva eu gostei de valeu amigo 👍👏
But does he have fractal vice? I had no idea that there was a vice collecting vice. As vices go, there are worse.
I recently quit smoking, but I still have other vices.
