A very satisfying to watch and learn video, especially for those few who didn't understand that you're foremost a restorer. Supreme finishes Lewis. I'm envious of your skills in prep and paintwork.

I like this format, interesting to see what a work week looks like for you.
And you make the filler/sanding/paint process look so easy, it never is when I try :)

I must admit I enjoyed your " Land Rover/ Range Rover" comment as soon as I saw the car. When I was young yes a Landrover and Rangerover were two totally different cars. Now they have kind of become a generic metamorphis of each other. My brother in law has a farm and he has a metamorphic variant. Its neither a Landrover nor a Rangerover.

I had a car with a binding rear brake or other issue, never got to the bottom of it.
I could only take it out in the rain, because driving through puddles at the kerb would cool her down, and I could observe the vapour trails in the rear mirror. Happy days.

Nice to see all those painting skills. Amazing how the smallest scratch or dent ends up with so much of the surrounding area being sanded and painted. I'm a touchup pen user myself. :-)

On the tailgate regarding your comments on it chipping could it be because the raptor was in the base coat with the topcoat just paint ? I'm not a painter at all but just wondered if you added protector to the final coat would it not last better ?

Also I feel your pain as fixing your own stuff sucks 😂 especially on a Friday !

I'm glad I'm not alone... a weeks plans last only as long as the middle of the first job in my experience! Loving the subtitles too, I think a rebrand is called for "White Lid Restorations", brilliant name but what are you going to do with all the merch you've ordered?

@@WhitelandRestorationsOkay thanks Lewis for that. Over 40 years ago I had a Morris 1300 and the starter motor failed. I bought an identical used starter motor from a nearby shop. Fitted the starter motor and it turned the engine over fine. However, the engine wouldn't start despite being nothing wrong with the engine. Guess what was causing the engine not to start. Lastly thanks for the great videos.

It's the sanding that terrifies me. I know it has to be done. But the whole making it look so rough first. Then you reveal the improvements by the prep/degreasing wipe etc
    But still terrifies me.
