    Aaah blissful perhentian… my most favourite island in the world ❤. It has a magical vibe that pulls you right in. 2 nights…not enough…3 nights…still not enough 😢. And like you I always feel sad leaving

      @@Reardon_Explores Do come back. One handy tip for when you come next, come during low season when the accommodation prices go down a bit. There’ll be less visitors and you’ll have the fishies and turtles and monkeys all to yourself. Some time in october perhaps. The monsoon hits the east coast from november till march and everything shuts down then.

    i,ve been to pulau redang not far from pulau perhentian...in year 2000...and spend few k with my gf for 3days2night......but look like pulau perhentian hotel is much expensive compare with p.redang..with the same prices.u can get mid luxury hotel room there compare with p.perhentian..i heard p.redang vacation now are more cheaper than 20years b4.....more discount for the room..❤️

    Whilst most young travelers would prefer to go to Perhentian Kecil for its more vibrant environment, I think you made a right decision by landing on the Perhentian Besar instead. It has a village so maybe you can learn a thing or two about their culture other than just lazying around on the sands..

      You can take a bus - ferry from Kuala Lumpur. Organized separately. Or fly to Kota Bharu, and take taxi to jetty and take ferry. Those are the two main options without driving yourself.

    which one did you prefer between this island and Koh Samui? i feel like Koh Samui is much affordable

      Ahh yes, right. Koh Samui might be cheaper but it isn't as remote which is why. It's also more populated of course because of airport and frequent ferry. Koh Samui is more livable but Perhentian is more unique.

    I made a fxxxxx complaint to besut town council to clear trash on the beach and on trails(after a british vlogger showed it). I did not expect them to burn them though. Just imagine if they burn in the forest, it may catch fire too.
