As someone who has actually run with African runners (Kenyans and Ethiopians), I can tell you, these guys are INSANELY fast! In a 10 mile race, I stayed with them....for about 30 seconds, at my FULL sprint!😅 They KEPT running at what was MY sprint! The top guys finished in 46 minutes🐎. My time was a little over an hour🐌!😭

They were doing 1:03:44 for a half marathon. This pace was faster than the world record in 1976. It's amazing that they looked like this at THE END of the race. And none of these guys were even the top runners from their country.

This video marathon was on April 14, 2024. His time of recovery was extremely low.

Also there was very poor planning. The four runners should have dropped off the pace one by one in order give the impression that the Chinese runner was dropping them.
