love these. got a pair of the low tops and man they just look so 🔥 on feet. much rather pay $1000 for a shoe made for luxury, than a shoe that costs $1000 resell, but has a retail price of $150-$200 🤷🏻♂️

mystikshinobi ur gettin played thinking like this. Dont u see its the same thing. Only difference is that the company is charging you $1000 instead of a reseller. They aint made for luxury. They dont have no luxury or premium material that makes it more valuable or make it worth the $1000 price tag. Its still a $70 pair of chucks. You just payin for the name. Dior is the actual reseller in this case. Tons of other sneakers that are way more fire than these that I would pay $1k for over these. Retail price is whatever the company wants to make it. Material and craftsmanship wise these should retail at about $100-$120 and resell should be $1k
Raul Ovalle i agree with you. you’re absolutely correct. while the materials used may not be “made for luxury”, i would at least think that the materials used are still better. i can’t be certain that more thought was put behind the design, but i’d like to think so. plus, $1000 for mass produced nikes vs $1000 for dior shoes, you choose.

But if you think these shoes are worth $1k retail due to luxury materials then u are getting fooled. The main reason for my comment was that he said that these are worth $1k due to them being luxury but doesnt think a pair of shoes that retails at $200 and being resold at $1k is worth it when actually its the same thing. The materials and quality on these shoes are the same as a pair of J’s that retails for $200.

It’s no secret whenever you buy something for resell on the secondary market, there’s always a chance that those shoes might be fake. That’s why I’d rather spend that same amount on a retail pair of designer kicks I know are 100% legit.
@@larryrogers360 That's irrelevant. You can buy any pair of shoes that's sitting in store or online. Getting a limited pair of designer sneakers is just as hard as any other limited release. Just because they're designer doesn't mean they don't make limited releases that are hard to get.

I wish these high-fashion reviews were more detailed, Foamie! Show us the inside, some on-feet looks (even if just in the workshop), talk about the materials that make it up, the box, the packaging, the comfort compared to a regular Chuck. I was fortunate to own a pair of Balenciaga once and I have to say, I could see that those shoes cost more in manufacturing than your regular pair of Yeezys or Jordan 1s. Maybe the 1 grand is justified mostly by the brand, but there's more to it than just that. Anyway, love your vids! Keep it up!

I use to rock designer sneakers heavy, but stopped in 2018. I ended up selling my entire collection. The excitement wasn’t their for me anymore, I started to feel like I was only wearing it because I could afford it and other people dig it, not to much because I liked/loved it. It’s VERY overrated. Half of the time you see both men and women with some Gucci’s on their feet but don’t have a pot to piss in and a window to throw it out of.
I love designer sneakers, I own Balenciaga, Gucci, Golden Goose, Chanel and Dior sneakers. Lol love them all.

Designers over Jordans. I have only 4 pairs of Jordan's and currently considering buying the 6's for my last pair. I only own 2 designer sneakers, Saint Laurent Paris and Dior Homme, both from Hedi era. I was at one point seriously wanting to sell of my Jordan and matching outfits but I love them too much.

If you're looking for a designer sneaker that's comfy, high quality, half the price of these and that doesn't look like complete ass I'd try a valentino rockrunner. The only high fashion sneaker I felt was worth keeping in my rotation.

Ok PSA. If by some chance someone is reading this wanting a high quality shoe but hasn't looked outside of sneakers, I'd recommend Nicks, Whites or Wesco. Best boots money can buy imo. Also if you're looking for a Docs replacement, try Solovair out as they were the previous manufacturers of Docs and make all their stuff with the same quality or better than the MiE docs but are cheaper (at least where I live)
