One of the best golf videos I have seen on You Tube, fantastic edit and a real insight into a golf course and what it offers and at the same time a nice little match at the end! More of these please!
Tremendous production values, wonderful music, top quality cinematics, comedy and so much more. Best YT golf vlogs of all IMO. Well done sir!! Lou is a great addition to the channel as well!
Any chance of seeing some instructional type material, perhaps with the both of you? I know you call yourself an "average golfer" but IMO you're quite a bit above average if the guys I've played with over the years are any indication 😃 😄 😅 😆. I think many of us could benefit from some of your wisdom and Lewis looks like he's a scratch golfer or close to it. How about it? A whole new direction?
We had a week in Wales - Harlech, Nefyn, Pennard, Porthcawl, Pyle & Kenfig and Aberdovey.... and this was the best of many great experiences. I remember we stayed in places from a book of restaurants with rooms" Nearest course Aberdovey reminded me of in Scotland was Western Gailes - another cracker. Not just golf here - but a spiritual feeling of golf though the ages.
Played Aberdovey a couple of years ago with our society, stopped in a massive self catering house next to the course. Would thoroughly recommend it and Royal St David's just up the coast. Shame it was too windy for the kite surfing for us too, had to retire to the bar instead.
Had a Driver fitting with Lewis today. Top lad, knows his stuff, friendly and no pressure. Spoke on my level and let me try a few different combinations. I ended up with a Mizuno ST190 with Mitsubishi Tensei orange shaft. Highly recommended.
Great video!!! Who the heck would dislike this? Beautiful scenery and a great looking course! So different from what we play I play around the Seattle area. Much More elevation change and trees. Oh yeah, and trees. Did I mention trees? I call it Mountain golf.
The quality of this video is awesome. Thanks for your superb editing and hard work that obviously goes into your passionate coverage of the best sport in the world.
@11:45. "Who is this guy? Who is this guy, here?" Nice putt. So, they let u guys take a golf cart out on day2? I thought in the UK those r only for the queen.
Fantastic vlog as always, top class quality production and a true winning formula. Would love to see you guys take on the nearby Royal St Davids when the rough is up during the Summer, a real tester !
A cinematic triumph! An artistic tour de force that forces the watcher to confront life’s most perplexing existential questions; does god exist? Can I ever obtain enlightenment? Is it a soft nine iron or a full pitching wedge? Your work evokes memories of Truffaut or even an early Ingmar Bergman. It is accessible on so many differing levels, yet at the same time remains heartbreakingly impenetrable. Bravo! 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Dont often comment on videos but this content is different level from anything I have seen on golf You Tube, unreal cinematic feel from start to finish and I really enjoyed until the very end, and the bit of humour thrown in! Keep up the good work!
What a delightful vlog fella....... great location, great camera work and what about that music?......... then you go and spoil it by putting you ugly mugs on it!!! Lol 😂.......... but in all seriousness...... fabulous AG 👍
Enjoyed the vlog but are you simply reminiscing on your youth when there was only b&w tv. Things have advanced, most people even have colour tv.. scenery deserves colour but love your content regardless. Looking forward to seeing you play at YT golf day- will they let you have your handicap or make you play from scratch?
Great Course, Great photography and a Great soundtrack and two numpties have given a thumbs down, I'm stunned! And that Breakfast looked Awesome, so glad that you went for the Healthy option! LOL
So Lewis is a good coach, instant results ! Shame he taught his opponent ! Nice video Andy, really polished, great quality. Great course too, another one to add to my list. I love a nice links course. Have you ever played Seascale ? Its on my list but I'm told its really good, could be an episode for this series and maybe do Silloth too. Looking forward to the next one already. Have you watched the Erik Anders Lang series from Scotland, they are great films too, yours has some similarities to those. Both very different but the beautiful style of the filming is similar.
Yes he helped me out and almost paid! I have played Seascale and I loved it and I have agreed to do Silloth!! Just trying to sort a date not been there before. I am a huge fan of Erik and I take that as a great compliment.
@@TheAverageGolfer It was a quality film Andy , just like Erik's. I must play Seascale this summer, just a mad drive there and back from Manchester in a day !
@@mjsgolf7004 I wasnt going to mention the journey as its a nightmare to get to!! I think Junction 36 M6? and then about an hour of 'A' road but I did really enjoy it. I do have a video of it from my early days, quality might not be great but gives you an idea?
i play Aberdovey every year and to be honest I've found this video disappointing shown in black and white for most of it , the aerial photos at the start in colour show what a great looking course this is so can't understand why you spoilt it with the black and white parts. and have to disagree with you about the 12th hole being a great hole as I think its an awful hole and the worst hole on the course with its virtually impossible to hit plateau green, when we played it last year it was a wedge and you still couldn't hold the green if you hit it and if you came up short there was no chance of an up and down. just ridiculously hard
@@TheAverageGolfer don't need to understand anything , just know golf courses don't look good in black and white especially links courses. don't do it again
@@chuckypud I think if you read the rest of the comments they disagree, your in the minority Andy, seems you need to understand a lot judging by that final comment.

Can't please everyone Scott! We do have some of those courses but I do prefer links personally, mainly due to the fact my ball seems to like trees
That is a magnificent links course! Reminds me a bit of Dornoch, though I don’t think it has a much broom on it! Definitely on my must play list!😍
Really is Keith and glad you enjoyed our video of it
Perfect setting for black and white. The music went perfect with it. Very well done.
Thank you
