Try leveling RVs for 4 years and backing into spots, that will test a marriage haha Gosh can’t wait to get our new gladiator outfitted. Start overlanding again with a Jeep. Looks like that was a great shake down trip, friends and family and a good time. I bet you was like why did I get my new Jeep so muddy at the car wash lol wait for your first pin stripes…
I can't imagine doing the RV thing...you must be a pro at backing in and leveling. Looking forward to seeing your Gladiator build...and ya - I'm going to clear wrap all of the spots that get hit with branches...that way I don't cringe too hard when I take those pin stripes :)
Ya, I hate mud too…but you gotta go through it if it’s on the trail. Trail etiquette = don’t create a bypasses…sooooooo I’m going to put some clear vinyl in it so I cringe a little less when I have to go through it.

Have you thought about using a trailer for your trips vs tents? Something like the one you tried, or maybe a little bigger, to include the family on previous vids? Do you think the OL type trailer are a workable solution for getting out and about in Idaho and other western areas? Or is the cost of them prohibitive?
We’ve thought about a trailer..and might look at it again in the future…but for now, we’re going to test this set up a bit longer. The trailers are quite expensive, so we really want to be sure about it before committing. But a two Jeep set is pretty fun at the moment!
@@Venture2Roam Yea, any trailer with "overlanding" on it adds at least $30K+ to price. But I have seen a couple upgrades recently you can do to a regular trailers suspension to allow for more rough travel. Trying to do some investigating on that option to cut costs.
Be interesting to see if more people with the 392 start to have the issues that Brad over at TrailRecon have had with the stupid clutch pack in the transfer case 🤔
I know its a little early but what gas mileage are you getting so far. Wondering how it compared to Finn and how much extra gas you think you will be carrying for the 392?
If the compressor is turning on but no compressed air, that sounds like a busted manifold gasket or a busted air admittance valve. Full disclaimer, I could be wrong.

Yep nailed it. One of our most favorite places to go…easy drive, only an hour from our front door…and so pretty out there right now.
Epically beautiful camp spot!! How are the seats in the 392 vs the JK, the seats in the Jeep have always been my biggest problem with that vehicle.
The seats in the 392 are much much better. They are the same seats as the Gladiator Mojave….it’s a very comfortable seat IMO.

Ya - when we're just driving a grated dirt road we usually just do 20. For other types of terrain we'll go lower.

It's between 13 and 14 right now. My JK is between 14 and 16.
Also, if you upgrade your bumpers and want to sell the 392 front, I'll buy it!
