Nobody ever listens to me about this book. I read it in 2003 and it turned my life around. I could have ended up a criminal or a psycho if it hadn't been for this book. At the time, I was going through a break-up with my first love. I had never felt that level of sadness and rage. My teenage mind was overloaded with emotion and I was obsessed with her. I was flipping out on friends who had ties to her. I was fighting people over her and even stalked her twice. People were turning on me. I used this book and it made enemies into friends. I made tons of NEW friends. It opened my teenage eyes to concepts like being considerate, listening to others, seeing other people's perspectives, working with others, calling attention to people's mistakes indirectly so not to offend them, it really shows you how to play on people's own selfishness to gain what you desire. It is brilliant.
The girl and I never got back together, but that's okay. She's a fat, heroin junkie slob with kids now. This book will put you in the "friend zone" with women. Read The Game by Neil Strauss for how to treat women. You have to treat them like they don't matter. You can't chase them and obey their every command or you lose value as a man. That's a whole other book. Forget that for now. I'm off topic.
I tell people about this book, but it falls on deaf ears. I tried to tell my friend about the book and how much it had shaped me back in the day when we were younger. He insisted that it was just someone's perspective and shot it down completely. I just said, "Yeah, you're probably right," while in my head, I'm thinking, "You idiot, it taught me to use psychology on you and manipulate you hundreds of times."
I stopped using it so prominently about ten years ago, but the things you will learn stick with you and will change your thought process. A lot of people thought I had "changed" because I wasn't acting the same way that the book taught me. They don't realize that I was trying super hard to be the way I was. They don't realize I used a book, even though I told them several times. I can't maintain that level of concentration. It's too much to do. I smoke too much weed to listen to someone go on and on and on and on. SHUT UP.

Yes I am
I am interested in others and enjoy hearing and listening to what they have to say. I just wish they would reciprocate from time to time and show the same interest. I can listen to someone go on and on about a subject I know little about, but am curious to learn more of, but when it's my turn to talk a little about the things I find interest in, they look past me and fidget, become disinterested in the conversation, and interrupt.
I can count on my hands the number of people that have genuinely done the same for me as I would do for them. It's a shame how selfish most of us are.

Oh my word. I was looking for a good summary of this book and the top three or so videos on youtube are all 'live-drawn' video's with an uninteresting voice. Thirteen in a dozen, highly annoying. I found this style of video but even more so the clear passion in the narrator amazing. Thank you so much!
This is an amazing book!! I have read it, I will highly recommend it.
I care about people around me, friends but they don't care me when I am in need ,I won't ask frequently to help my needs doing I ask rarely
Remember the more value you give to people the more you get from them. So dont try to get something out of the relationships with your friends, instead put more into it! If they are your true friends they will work with you on that relationship. They will start coming to you to help you with your needs. If you notice they dont really care about you then look for some new friends. Look for people who appreciate you. You have to become the person you want to attract. This applies for your intimate partners and your friends. Good luck you can do it!

Mind Now the problem is though I use my phone to learn stuff on TH-cam that's related to what I'm learning in school

These advices are so helpful in life and even doing a group project in school. Thanks! This Speaker is great. My two favourite speakers is this and Keshav Bhatt. I learnt from Keshav Bhatt that is when someone interrupted you let him talk, don't say anything❤. We all need to have friends but most importantly we need to believe them❤.

But when you see someone smile at the sight of you smiling at em makes you're smile more genuine. Dude I've seen smiles from people who are missing teeth or are black/ yellow and it makes me smile too. Do it, just smile it makes you feel better don't worry about how it looks. Taking the Dale Carnegie Course almost two years ago was one of the best investments I've ever made in my own personal and professional development (I paid for it out of my own pocket). Once I graduated from the course, I became a graduate assistant/coach for the course for two semesters, hope to do it again this spring, and by the end of the year, once the company gives the word, I expect to participate in the training to become a Certified Dale Carnegie Trainer myself.
