late soviet music (like this song shown) and early cold war western sounding music from the us (goodbye maria) are good for them being war music

But they will always loose(if the world isn't completely destroyed by nuclear weapons) because of their geographic position(encircled by NATO and, in general, nations which they would be against). And they also are (in the case of Russia it's currently becoming a fully-fledged dictatorship) dictatorships, which are more likely to surrender during an earlier stage of a war (according to "The Dictators Handbook" dictatorships are more likely to surrender)

Это организация террористической расправы с рабочим классом и революционной частью крестьянства и интеллигенции. Фашизм во внешней политике - это шовинизм в самой грубейшей форме, культивирующий зоологическую ненависть против других народов
Главное содержание фашизма - это не национализм, хотя в определенных исторических условиях он может принимать самые уродливые шовинистические и расистские формы, а военно-полицейская диктатура крупного капитала, опирающаяся на массовую поддержку мелких буржуа, маргиналов и даже на часть зараженных мелкобуржуазными иллюзиями пролетариев. Это то общее, что определяет классовую суть всякого фашизма от Кавеньяка до Гитлера в развитых капиталистических странах и - от Стресснера и Пиночета до Ельцина - в зависимых странах и колониях.
Военная и оккупационная практика гитлеризма и геббельсовские проповеди исключительности арийской расы, казалось бы, дают вполне достаточные основания для того, чтобы считать национализм неотъемлемой чертой всякого фашизма.
Тем не менее расовые и национальные различия ничуть не помешали волчьему братанию гитлеровских нацистов с японскими фашистами и торгашеству их с сионистами во время второй мировой войны. Это значит, что фашизм по своей природе космополитичен, а его националистическая, космополитическая или даже антинационалистическая форма проявления зависит от конкретных, исторических условий, от положения той или иной фашиствующей буржуазии в системе всемирного транснационального капитала, от ее отношения к другим фашиствующим национальным разрядам буржуазии. Если пролетариат в стране однонационален, то фашизм принимает форму оголтелого национализма в антагонизме буржуазии не со своим пролетариатом, а с буржуазией других стран, становящейся ей поперек дороги в ее захватнических делах. Если пролетариат внутри страны многонационален, как в бывших республиках СССР, фашисты используют национализм как оружие против интернационального объединения пролетариата, натравливая пролетариев одной нации на пролетариев другой нации. Новые прибалтийские апартеиды, дебильный антирусизм на Кавказе, в Молдове, в Казахстане и даже на Украине (Рух, УНА и т.п.) - наглядное подтверждение этого.
Для того чтобы понять особенности современного фашизма и то, почему он выступает чаще всего под чужими именами и флагами, следует учесть, что исторические условия первой и второй половин XX в. резко различаются, и бросить хотя бы беглый взгляд на действительное отношение т.н. демократических держав к фашистским режимам с самого начала их официальной истории.
Образцово демократические, культурные, цивилизованные и т.п. США и Европа, которые в наше время громче всех кричат о борьбе с фашизмом и терроризмом, до второй мировой воины (а в США и после нее - маккартизм) плодили и пестовали фашистские режимы, как ананасы в теплице. Всюду, где антагонизм эксплуататоров и эксплуатируемых, и прежде всего - буржуазии и пролетариата ставил под угрозу само существование капитализма, национальная буржуазия стремилась обзавестись собственным фашизмом, даже если он таковым не назывался официально, как, например, режим Пилсудского в Польше.
По отношению к национальной буржуазии фашизм выполнял две функции - подавление пролетариата внутри страны и защита от такого же иностранного фашизма. Первую из этих функций наглядно продемонстрировала революция и гражданская война в Испании 1936-1938 гг., а вторую - клерикальный фашизм Дольфуса в Австрии и временные трения между дуче и фюрером по вопросу об аншлюсе Австрии.
И, наконец, голубой мечтой всех этих фашизмов и подпитывавших их демократических держав было подавление и предотвращение социалистических революций в мировом масштабе и “дранг нах остен”, т.е. разгром и колонизация СССР. Это более чем убедительно продемонстрировали ложь и кощунственное лицемерие США, Англии и Франции по отношению к революционной Испании и разбойничавшим на ее земле немецкому и итальянскому фашизму и принесение в жертву фашистской Германии целых стран - мюнхенское предательство, фактическое согласие с аншлюсом Австрии и военным захватом Польши.

@@Marin-ochka были очереди и дефицит даже был, хоть и не везде и не всегда. Только вот ещё был бесплатный отдых, бесплатная бурноразвивающаяся медицина, квартиры не в 20-летнюю ипотеку а просто за труд (в среднем от 2 до 8 лет очереди). Ну и основное это уверенность в завтрашнем дне, рабочий приходя с завода мог спокойно отдыхать ведь он знал что зарплату не задержат, чтобы с ним не случилось(кроме самого серьёзного) его вылечат и даже могут дать путёвку в санаторий, его дети получат бесплатное и достойное образование, а думать о плате за электричество, воду, газ ненадо так как они меньше 10% от минимальной заработной платы. Конечно было множество минусов - отсутствие нормальной рабочей демократии, процветание мелкого кумовства, отсутствие некоторых бытовых товаров(туалетки например или ещё чего).
