    This is incredible. You do a series of how to beginner DIY latches/mechanisms and I can see you exploding in both sales and channel views/subscriptions. This is fascinating.

      @@davidolundell Well I know what I'M going to go watch now! It's odd, TH-cam is always suggesting videos from your channel to me, but never any how-to videos.

    First of all, you sir, are an absolute genius. My partner and I just started a business building escape game boxes and your cleverness and quality give us inspiration. One thing I have not found on your videos is how you do your finishing, especially the resin. If it's on there I'd like to see it, if not I'd love for you to show it For those of us that are twice your age and new to the whole genre of building cool boxes. Thanks so much for sharing your work.

    What about a coffee themed coffee table? Compartments could have coasters, cups, mugs, bag or bean storage... The epoxy could even have coffee beans laid into it!!! Hickory wood with dark brown trim. Ooooh BABY!
    If you wanted to be daring, perhaps the center lid could imitate a barista espresso swirl. Open it up, and there's a couple of handmade coffee scoops 😂

    • @arthurgriffin8358

      Maybe this idea wouldn't work for the table that's already built, but it would sure be cool to see this sort of a theme show up someday 🤣😂

    Hey man I’m making a cabinet for the end of my bed that will have two doors that open but I wanted to make a false top to it that would lift up so I could store a rifle or valuables in it any suggestions for a lock? I saw in one of your older videos I believe the murica table you had braces inside the table one of them rotated and then opened a panel I really liked that idea and was wondering if that would be a good one and if so where can I get it

    • @davidolundell
      @davidolundell  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If it’s the one I am thinking about it was a common door latch I just replaced the door knob with a false brace. Any hardware store will have door latches. Get one with a square hole instead of the half moon shaped ones.

    I remember talking to you about these a while back. The one you had with that wand and the other one were you had a bunny in the drawer. That was cool. Is there any chance you could try making an anime themed table with those kinds of compartments like from those old videos. Because that is something I would like to see.

      @@davidolundell Thinking sprockets and chains. Maybe a gear shifter that has to be cycled through a certain pattern to release a drawer. Place for brass knuckles and knives. A skull and crossed connecting rods for the center inset. Gotta have the whiskey drawer and poker drawer. Valves would make good hidden keys. Piston rings embedded in epoxy in the bottom of drawers. You have a much more creative mind than I do.
