After some strategic changes and a new paint scheme, the Ford Talladega was readied for it's final shakedown before heading to the renowned Bonneville Salt Flats to make our own history. Here’s the in-car camera view as Aaron Brown wheeled it at about….ohhh…230 mph.

Sure not factory from front tires forward I noticed that 1st, 3 seconds. But it's a race car. Not in rule books. It's not cheating.

THAT is a different experience than the T-56. The RPM drop is a lot, but it must have a trunk full of torque.

Did you use a modern 358 efi engine?.. or the old 427?
