What a difference an extra hull makes to Marie, loved seeing her happy face on "Trader", sea sickness is not something I suffered from, except when upside down in the engine bay changing fuel filters at sea but I do have sympathy for anyone who does.
Mclean is our favourite town, we have had some great holidays there, away from the tourists. Sorry to see Marie unwell sea sickness is no joke. Mum seemed to handle it really well. Thanks, take care
Dear Marie, seasickness happens, i understand you were feeling guilty, but don't worry, possibly seasickness pills could help. Me for example get really sick on short confused waves, so sick i cannot do anything then laying down, and pray it will be over before i die. Survived every time ;) PS: You are not a landlubber for getting seasick, everyone gets seasick, some people just lie about it. ;-)
Thank you, it is good to know that I am not the only one to feeling that way sometimes. I am a bit scared of some of the seasickness medecine as some of the pills are making me way to high, but the viewers talked about 2 sorts that apparently are not doing too many side effects so I will try some of them. :) Anyway, thanks for watching !
Absolutely brilliant! Thanks Vernon and Marie. So sad for you not being so good Marie but you have a great spirit and attitude and thanks Vernon for being so supportive. Nice to meet your mum Vernon and for the great scenic tour. We want to go there now. Can't wait for Port Stephens! 😎😜
My expertise as a posture specialist indicates that you get a discrepancy between the shape of your pelvis and the skull. When you are laying down check the position of the point of bone below the ear. Streaking the legs and pelvis will even them out and relive the pressure at the base of the skull.
Loving your travels Vernon and Marie. There’s such great variation- just like real cruising life. Great contrast in the river after hard and fast out there. 😀⛵️⛵️
So sorry Marie to see you being unwell but take comfort in the fact that you remained beautiful throughout it. And yes you did pronounce Mc Lean correctly. Brill video guys.🇮🇪🏴♥️
Hey guys, I watch (Sailing Sundays) and they take (,Stugeron) For sea sickness, she was even having a coffee before heading out, she sed it takes all the chances out of getting sea sick away, and their are no side affects, , it was on their last episode, (throw her overboard) best of luck! Thanks for sharing your adventures with me! Sea does not sound fun, hope it helps!
Hi guys, another great video. Hope you still are intending to show us the install of the inner forestay as it is of interest to me. As you say, learning by doing and I hope to from this upgrade.
Hi Paula, coffee would have been great. Our videos are always a couple of weeks behind real-time. I guess best way to keep up day to day is on instagram. @vernondeck @marieonthetop
@@SailingLearningByDoing You're selling, thats interesting do you have a number on what you want? Can I ask why you're selling and whats the plan after that happens?
Is it true that you are selling Schiehallion? Do you want a better yacht for colder climates and longeer passages? Or is land life calling? Its been great watching your videos since you first set sail from Austrailia.
Hi Andrew, great youve been watching for so long and I hope you'll stick with us! We are selling Schihallion and will be buying a pretty special catamaran
Hi guys, Give me a shout out when you hit Hobart. I'll show you the sights and run you around for provisions if you like. Cheers, Mark from You Tube Sailing Channels!!!
Ah awesome, that would be great! We have a little change of plan as we are now in Port Stevens selling our boat. As soon as its sold we'll be continuing as planned in our new boat.

Our stay was too short but nice to get a small sample of this area.
It was not fun to be sick but we had, like you, such a great time after that I forgot quick the bad moments !
You missed Brushgrove, ulmarra and Grafton. Free berthing on pontoons, great pubs and food. There’s always next time. Enjoy the trip south
Yeah heard of all these places but there was a northerly calling us further south. Next time for sure.
Very nice and yes relaxing notwithstanding..
It's nice seeing you take some time to sail with your mom, relax, explore, and eat out, in your fancy clothes, with friends. 😋 😉
Yeah so cool that she agreed to come on this adventure.

Oh and love the Vegemite Hat!!!
Such a rad place! Would love to spend more time there.

See you next Tuesday haha!
will indeed

Yeah that seems to be the best medication. We're about to purchase a Catamaran so maybe Marie will be cured?
Best cure ever!!!
Hello ! Thank you for your comment, yes Sturgeon seems to be the best but I still didn’t find a way to buy some from Australia 🤷🏻♀️😂

Imagine having the problem of owning a monohull that is so quick. This hull is a good design, what a great "cruising" boat

An astoundingly beautiful woman is very sense of the word. Sail on guys
marie will struggle to tasmania looking at it as a yacht sailor since my teens. It gets very different seastate there compared to tropics.
Possibly
It can be true but we will try anyway, if it is really too uncomfortable I can still jump on land for while or we could adjust our plans 🙂
