Appreciate your drone shots of Scarborough Marina! Great to see our boat there, and also from the bow of your boat :) It's a great marina. I remember seeing that pressure cooker there. It's such a good idea! Lovely to meet you both and your Mum at the YT meetup.
Thanks guys. We did take a drive up through the hills to Malany etc and then stayed a night on the Sunshine Coast. Cruising again feels like a holiday now. Hope you guys are enjoying Indonesia.

Merry Christmas to both of you...I have owned a 27' O Day, a 36' Catalina, and a 380 Catalina (1998)..I have done all the work on these boat, mainly because I like to have hands on..I think you guys did a great job on both the video and the painting..Go and enjoy your days (and nights) sailing----stay safe

Yeah I realise that and called other companies but they all said they were busy for months whereas the Marine Windows guy said he'd get it done in time.
That bullshit with the guy who said he was going to have your windows ready by Xmas : This sort of thong happens ALL THE TIME with the tradies who work around Marinas. I wasted three weeks waiting for the guy who Said he would fix my furler 'later this week'…ah OK early next week…I mean Friday….oh OK Monday for sure..I mean should get to it by Friday…I will come on the weekend and do it……and then it finally got done the next Thursday and my sailing holiday was finished. I just sailed home and put the boat back on the mooring. What do you do? Accept simultaneous quotes and see who gets to its first?

You don’t need a marine window person to cut those windows. Just find a plastic or plastic signage shop. They will cut them to match the old ones.
Plus by not having the word 'Marine' in front of it the price would be half of a marine window.

Yeah pretty damn frustrating eh? Id much prefer just a straight NOPE, we dont have time, at least you know where you stand then.
In this country any travel north of 33S requires lowered expectations. The window guy is case in point.
