Keep the content coming, good to see all the ballies still living the dream on all fronts, surfing sailing, talking story on the boardwalk as well. So lekka
Well deserved, you offer a unique, no bullshit perspective. I for one would like to see more, whether it's one a week or one a year doesn't matter as long as it's real brother. Liked and subscribed ✌️🙏
Trevor, you have a talent for this. Loving the JBay content. Watching from London, you're making me want to move right back home. I saw your house is on the market, are you moving away? Groete daarso
Howzit we home for a while houze off market for now had buyer but decided not to sell for now.. Greatings hope you doing well and thx for the encouraging words.. Take care
I agree Ethan was the best. we just had a white attack at one of my favourite breaks. the guy was surfing by himself. he punched the shark in the gills, tourniquet his leg with his leg rope and paddled in 600m to shore. he's ok!
Boat being sold as it wasnt mine. Have done some deliveries and a big one coming up November with other plans brewing. Will get back on the ocean soon..
Being from South Australia we have White sharks in the back of our minds also but the allure of surfing is like a drug. A poor fellow was taken at a fairly tame spot on our West Coast (Eyre Peninsular) in May this year. It's a spot where the local kids learn to reef surf and very close to shore. There were at least a dozen people surfing and the shark did the classic surprise attack. Witnesses said they saw his board tombstone out to sea and his body wasn't found. That's a big shark. We can talk all day about statistics but if it happens to you it's 100%.
Absolutely.. Been chased out many times at different places here so they are along our whole coastline. Unfortunately its the ones you dont see that are the danger.. Got to keep telling yourself that more people are injured by cows than sharks. Sharks just way more scary..
John Willy is definitely the shark whisperer, nicest guy and his lovely wife. You gotta watch him in the water, old Llundudno ous are a nightmare, especially Mark Fine 😂
🤣 Mark stayed with us for the comp but I know very little about Kaapie culture except that wetsuits are mandatory, having surfed once at Glen beach in baggies in winter back in the days when I felt no pain😭
@@oceanadventures365 Yes it's cold but worth it. Give it another try, CT has so much variety and cooks in Spring. Markie will get you some firing Dunes, just so many waves. Thx for the vids most enjoyable..shot!
Nothing like a bit of shark talk to keep the world at bay. I spent a number of years in South Aus surfing spots that had multiple attacks. You think you're cool and calm until a sea bird dives behind you or a seal pops its head out. Then you realise you're not kidding anyone.
one day of pumping surf, the rest of it was meh. my opinion on hosting wsl comps is that it isn't worth it. my local zone is Margaret river and there's so many surfers around already that the last thing we need is more international exposure. plenty of tourism without it. our state government pay at least a million dollars to host it, waste of money. it is nice to surf with some of my favourite pros when they're in town though.
Thank youse for letting ma see the fantastic surf location, BEST COMP ive seen. SO GOOD
Great insight 👍
Great interview with Autumn. Positive. Fun. Nice insights from a visitor and a local interviewer.

Bloody sharks...I still have PTSD from my one major shark scare at Keurbooms.

Haha all boardwalk talk when a splash happens behind we all shit ourselves... 🙈
was that mark Paarman seating with pink lady?
No Graham Hyndes still going in his late 80s. Will feature Mark in the next segment..
@@oceanadventures365 heard about him when he was is fiji selling his boat on sailing with the winds, very humble guy, glad hes still surfing
Hes still charging..
Didn’t Pierre toastie cop two lightning strikes and a couple sharks?
Dont think Pierre has had an incident. Getting chased out is something we've all experienced many times..
Looking forward to some firing swells on NOA at the best point break on the planet.
