As a black female, winx did a really good job with Aisha’s hair and texture over the series with having her curls/waves be more rigid than the other girls and incorporating braids in some of her hairstyles. As well as the buoyancy and puffiness when she would have pigtails. Super cute and fairly accurate. They created hair that was easy to animate and still somewhat accurate to the culture. I will say in WOW and season 8, they made her hair more fluid and she had less waves than usual which makes it seem (in my opinion) less like black hair and leans more towards the Caucasian side. It’s not necessarily a bad thing bc it still represents black girls with that kind of hair but strays from her original style. But all in all I love that they mixed natural black hair and a weave aspect in her hairstyles. A lot of animated shows just have black girls with either Caucasian hair or they only have braids.
Each girl had a specific shape thing described except Tecna (because she's always deleted from cool stuff...even in her own zone...😠) in the Konami maker once. Flora's leaf shape was described as Pixie, Musa was Brownie, Stella was "true to her elf" (to quote Wayside's Dana), Bloom was Nymph (fitting given her sister) and Aisha (Layla) was Sprite...which makes me wonder in addition to being another fairy class...is that her choice soda?
Another thing I loved about Tecna's Enchantix is that it shows that nerdy or geeky girls can too be just as beautiful and glamorous. I also think of her design as her being more comfortable expressing the part of herself she really wanted to grow when embracing her emotions
@@juliez16 The song sure does (even tho the Harmonix song is still a bop), but everything else?…not quite, but if it’s your opinion who am I to tell you it’s wrong?
With Stella's Enchantix, I thought for the longest time that her fairy dust pendant was a tattoo! Years later, I still can't get it out of my head! The Winx could have had tattoos, almost like henna!
@justahugenerd1278 Don't know much about the Mythix transformations lol I stopped pretty much at season 6, because it was just so bad from what I watched
Enchantix really is THAT girl for me, not only for nostalgia (although it definitely has a part on it). I remember watching them get their Enchantix for the first time and thinking "now THAT'S what a real fairy looks like" because, despite thinking they were cute, as a kid, I didn't think Magic Winx felt like "real fairies". When Enchantix came along, I really thought they had found a perfect balance between modernity (considering the cuts and shapes of the outfits) and nature, which I do think matters because their powers are natural gifts. Bloomix is a close third for me, but I hate that they have the same assets (smal cape, leggings, a weird blouse and a skirt). They're definitely the most different ones from the newer seasons though
OMG after rewatching and scanning them, I NEVER realize THAT!!!! I hated butterflix god awful dance rigging and terrible powers weaker than BASIC Magic WINX but this makes even worst in design elements
Flora's 2D Mythix dress is shaped like a pink cempasúchitl, a flower native to México and culturally important to the country. I WANT to hope it was a nod to her being Latina coded but idk lol
Every time I look at Flora and Tecna’s Enchantix forms, I remember the months my roommate and I spent making our costumes for con last year (she was Flora, I was Tecna). The wings alone took us three months because we had to cut them out of thin wall paneling and aluminum using tin shears (we’re too poor for a fancy laser cutter) and then we had to hand sand down the rough edges, both of which took ages. Tell you what though, our janky-ass DiY wings got us so many compliments at con, despite falling apart after like four hours, and that made the struggle worth it.
If you think these are nice, search their prototype designs. Enchantix Stella originally had an updo resembling her mom's, Tecna had longer hair and a skirt rather than shorts, and Flora had a tad bit more purple instead of pink. The Believix prototypes had smaller wings akin to the magic winx base forms, less glitz and sparkle, and looked more like earth clothes. The Harmonix prototypes made them look like sea witches, and included outfits for Roxy and Daphne. The Bloomix prototypes all had different or more elaborate wings for the cast
musa’s enchantix brings up a minor critique i have with the transformation overall and that’s the lack of hair diversity, specifically how 2/3rds of the group ended up wearing their hair in pigtails stella, aisha and flora are partially exempt from this since their hairstyles are different enough from each other as well as their everyday looks, but there’s not much difference between musa’s new everyday hair and enchantix hair - aside from being longer, neater-cut, and more lavender while i don’t hate her enchantix pigtails, i think it’d be all the more impactful if she still had her short pigtails from S1-S2 and THEN lengthened them out after getting enchantix because she likes how the longer hair looks on her (or maybe even after the golden kingdom episode where her mom comments on how grown-up and beautiful she looks)
29:33 I always saw Musa’s tiny shorts over shorts/half tights as a reference to dancers. In ballet and many other styles you wear a leotard over tights, so I just saw the designers taking that concept and cutting the leotard in half to show her stomach. And I feel like that reference fits perfectly with her music theme.
it's so interesting to see how the transformations can vary so wildly in opinions, because no one character looks good in all of them, stella ended up having my favorite design (2d enchantix) as well as my least favorite (3d mythix). but then some designs look really good on some of the characters, like musa looking amazing with both versions of butterflix
personally i think messy hair kind of suits sirenix! it reminds me of like deep ocean and the fact that mermaids are actually scary and aren't just pretty and cute how they seem at first ponytails are hideous though
2:55 HOLY CRAP! That render of Bloom makes her limbs bend in ways that no human should bend. Like, no shade on the artist because it does look good, but the pose really got my attention.
It's one of the fixed ones where they made they're bodies more "realistic" it's kinda annoying cs the whole point is that they're bodies arent supposed to b realistic😭
Regarding 1:06:26 and Aisha’s hair (I’m half black but have VERY textured hair), I can’t say I mind. Black women get to change their hair as often as they want and however they want. Wigs, cornrows, twists, braids, locs, etc. There are infinite ways to do the kind of hair she is portrayed with in the series. As much as I would love to see her with tight curls and coils… I love the infinite possibilities with them playing with her hair. IMO, she’s just changing out her wigs. If they ever managed to do locs or braids or twists or any other long style on her… I don’t think Rainbow would actually do her design justice. Not to mention animating it, I do have hopes for the reboot… but I will keep them reasonable.
No Charmix? It'd fall under slight difference, but I think it deserves more discussion and recognition. I think it gives Musa's Magic Winx that little music theming she needs in her treble-cleff brooch and CD player. Especially with the purple in her CD player.
@@lorettabes4553 I kinda vibe with the fluffy pink heart bag and kinda want one irl. But it does serve as an omen to the pink takeover of everything else she wears. I wonder if it would have been better if it were yellow, like her original accent color. I personally don't see that.
@@frauleinzuckerguss1906 I believe it was supposed to be a gourd, reminiscent of people in ancient times who would hollow out and store water or other stuff in. Nature's water bottle.
As a black WINX girlie the hair for Miss Aisha has been an experience… ah and by that I mean godawful and wishy washy. to texture or not to texture? That is the question I dunno why they are so allergic to giving black girls in the main cast natural hair but will let supporting characters live?!. It’s perplexing… it feels like someone is saying “you can be black but don’t make it obvious” a mess
I bet Aisha could pull off an afro or some braids or dreads (btw I'm not black so I could be missing many black cultural hairstyles) SUPER well, but alas, they barely give her curls most of the time
@@marianmeletlidiscrap oh yeah for sure! But they usually result to just straightening it she would rock space buns or Bantu knots honestly there’s so much they could have done with her hair esp ah well :(
Musa, Tecna and Aisha seem to be the MVPs of a lot of the Winx transformations (looks wise), and that gives me so much serotonin omg. But why the f*ck did they do Enchantix in S8 so dirty??
Honestly the reason i feel why blooms enchantix looks so much more "incomplete" is because she earned hers differently! As of course the show kindaaa reconned it a BUT of course we know she had limitations with her powers and even her wings kinda reflect this, they look almost exactly like her magic winx but completely upgraded! Compared to the other winx its also a tad smaller and doesnt have really any lower body presence. ofc even with Tecna her wings had a more of a "lower body presence" even then Blooms still VERY gorg, but yeah thats kinda my thepry as to why she doesnt fully match up to the other girls!
@@chenillesagoe6348 notice how the girls have their wings much more area they cover like from their head to their lower thigh, bloom doesn't have that, kinda communicating she's incomplete in her enchantix! Atleast to me
@@sopanhaleng8644 honestly me too! And I feel like at the end of secret of the lost kingdom, Since she has technically already earned her enchantix it wouldn't really change it's design but omg imagine if it did
1:06:23 Sooo glad that you asked! Aisha’s hair has always been hit or miss. Aisha’s design is based off of Beyoncé, who historically doesn’t always style her own hair in a “natural” way. Which, to be clear, is totally fine. What this means is that Aisha tends to get a “Blackified” version of whatever Bloom or Stella’s hairstyle is. When the design pays attention to the volume and curls (btw love that you even pointed this out) then I’m a happy camper. When Aisha’s hair gets completely whitewashed, I’m giving a bit a of a side eye.
Aisha gets better hairdo's on when it's closer Bloom's though...because they also give an impression of "storybook" and Bloom and Aisha are usually the only ones that actually consistently do that...even with the trash that is season 5's Sirenix and the extremely cheap, but still improvement in Mythix.
I think they realised if Bloom would be dressed in red or orange for winx, she'd look naked, like her hair is part of her outfit and then Stella would have to be in yellow or gold and they'd be dealing with the same problem with her. YES, ALL WINX IN S TIER!!!! Besides Musa's wings, they're too generic for a music fairy. I was jealous for Musa when I saw Princess Galatea's fairy wings.
Maybe has something to do with Musa being a civillian (and a low class at that) while Galatea is a princess. And that difference went out of the window when Musa won her Enchantix, making of herself superior money status aside
19:12 omg I didn't pick that up. Very interesting take on Aishas Enchantix form, when the water hits the sun you get like this reflective rainbow color. Did not realize it when I was a kid
Honeslty I think they should have given Aishas Green Enchantix darker teal-blue accents instead of the pink... so it would look like a gorgeous topical ocean. Maybe put the pink and some yellows into some smaller accents to give more contrast.
Design-wise, nothing comes close to Enchantix except for Bloomix. TBH, I'd only keep Magic Winx, Believix (make this their Charmix form), Enchantix, and Bloomix. Hoping the reboot can match them!
@@chenillesagoe6348 Originally that was the idea; 1-2 years ago, they had their Magic Winx looks, but recent art was leaked and it appears to be a new transformation. I like them overall, but there's a bit too much uniformity and leggings, kinda like cosmix mixed with sirenix.
Sincerely cannot understand how you despise Sirenix yet love Mythix in 2D. Mythic is the definition of Lazy, Uniform Cookie Cutter Basic Bitch Dresses, for most of the girls the only thing that actually represents anything about their personalities or powers are in the colors, and for Flora & Aisha’s whose dresses do slightly represent the powers it’s still very simple dresses, homecoming dresses one might say. Sirenix is very matchy matchy but each girl still has a distinct style in the cut of their top, where it’s transparent, and the legging designs, it isn’t just basic bitch swimsuit designs. To each their own
8:17 I would say compare Musa’s Magic Winx form to Raven’s design from the 2003 Teen Titan’s series. Raven has all of this black, grey, and indigo. But she still has some shades of red and yellow to give her a pop of color. Musa doesn’t have that. All of her colors are on the cooler tone side of things. If she had some yellow like in her Enchantix, I think you’d like it more.
Red is a warm color actually. Eventually she cools out by Believix into the more magentas and violets. The color divide between warm and cool is Green. On a twelve color wheel Red-Vermillion-Orange-Marigold-Yellow-Lime is the warm side. Green-Teal-Blue-Indigo-Violet-Magenta is the cool side.
48:18 Girl this deserves F tier. For me every important outfit the hair is the main thing that can break the outfit or make it look good. And this hair broke it like blooms 3D sirenix
I love that you pointed out Aishas' hair, and people of collor actually stated their honest opinions. Im not a person of collor, but I do have very curly and textured natural hair, and as a kid looking at Aisha validated my hairstyle, even tho girle could absolutely rock more puffy and cloudy hairstyle im still grateful for what we got bc there are huge IPs where women of collor are guven str8 hairstyles for example Storm from Marvel
I think Musa's magic winx seems to lack something because it must have been hard to put a full concept on her transformation. The other girls' concepts are very straight forward, but how do you portray music on an outfit AND keep it simple? They managed to make it work with enchantix and even charmix
Bloom's really isn't fire-designed though. It's more to do with her character as a fairytale geek/concepts calling her the fairy of the whispering winds/coming from Earth (or so she thought).
Hi! Black winx fan here! As a child I didn’t really notice the change in hair but that’s the issue. The fact I couldn’t tell her hair was supposed to have a different texture. Aside from her wave motif due to her power I just assumed like it was another black girl with like relaxed hair in a sense? I do notice it now as I’m older but like seeing them slowly just turn her hair into always having a ponytail is kinda sucky. Give my girl some braids like you did with enchantix! Like there’s so many black hairstyles they could do but the uniformity of the constant high ponytail is very underwhelming. That’s how I feel ∩^ω^∩
Again, my Cosplay Couture (Trademark pending) can easily adapt Stella's earlier fairy forms as pajamas or summer fashion when not used for cosplay at conventions, Flora's as outdoorsy Spring fashion, and Aisha's doubling as fully functional swimwear/athletic wear when not used for Cons. I am still struggling with how to make the fairy forms of Bloom, Tecna, and Musa work in my Cosplay Couture concept. For the girlies whom may not be aware, cosplay couture is a type of multiuse fashion concept i came up with that allows for faithful as fudge to the show it comes from cosplay outfits to be worn in public without alot of the superfluous bits which are more appropriate for conventions. By removing, adding, or rearranging the accessories and components you can have up to 3 different outfits for different ocassions or activities out of one outfit. And this was inspired by the Go! Princess PreCure Mode Elegant dresses where the Pretty Cure of the season would gain one of 4 elegant princess dresses depending on what finisher they were about to perform to stop the monster of the week, with Blue Student Council Pres number 532 Minami Kaido (Cure Mermaid) and Fashion Icon, Kirara Amanogawa (Cure Twinkle)'s Mode Elegant Forms looking like they could be Functional Swim Gowns and Winter Wear for Minami and comfy as fudge PJs for Kirara. Again these are still prototype ideas but your boy already has folks saying shut up and take my money to bring this shit to life as an actual product. I am still working out the detes such as whether the outfits should be tailored for the individual or not and because i am a stickler for details the final products will vary greatly in price depending on the available accessories and weapons associated with the character. Like Aisha's Magic Winx Cosplay/Swimwear/Athletic Wear will be less expensive than Minami's Cure Mermaid Cosplay/Swimsuit/Ballgown due to it having very few accessories with the most added being the Charmix components including a 1:1 scaled replica of the Jewel and a functional water bottle in the shape of her Charmix Bag. Maybe a guide to style your hair like hers if your not a fan of wigs and some make up and colored contacts too. Meanwhile for Cure Mermaid your getting the base outfit that converts into a functional swim suit, the ballgown extention, the Ice Variant which will come with removable lining to double as functional winter wear, and the Bubble Variant which returns to the swimsuit style. Her jewelry for all three forms as well as her tiara, hairdye and style guide or wig if you prefer, makeup and contacts, Metal Dress Up Keys (macguffins of the season go watch the show), the Princess Perfume with Dress up key fragrance refills, and a replica Princess Rod (one of the weapons of the season). So yeah i predict Minami's might cost over 600 USD if this is to work while Aisha's will probably be 70 USD max.
All ima say is.... Aisha's Enchantix was the reason I wanted box braids as a kid! I'm 23 with dreadlocks now (I LOVE them), but watching her transform for the first time awakened something in me and I felt like getting that hairstyle was the closest thing to looking like her and omg RAINBOW TAKE NOTES. REPRESENTATION IS SO IMPORTANT. ADD MORE BLACK HAIRSTYLES AND RESPECT THEM.
Can we talk about how Enchantix is basically the best transformation. But how you basically have to almost die to get it?! Like as a kid. I thought sacrifice was just a way to say put yourself in danger to save someone from being hurt. And then as I got older. It sunk in. You basically had to die to get Enchantix! Which makes me think. If we imply this to other shows and anime’s. Cosmo from Sonic X would’ve earned hers. Which would be epic.
Not Thomas saying the word 'girlie' more often than the word 'the' in this whole video. 😂 (That's not a complaint or anything, it just stood out to me.)
Aisha's hair is....when i was little black boy, i could ignore it because i could tell she was still black but as i've gotten older, oh i'm tired of companies adding the light skinned, looser hair texture black people in order to fill black person slot. It just reads as 'we're gonna pick the most palatable among you' and it becomes more prominent the lighter and lighter skinned she gets. Like if you want long flowy hair so damn bad, draw dreads, box braids, passiontwists. But anyway, enchantix and magic winx was the best her hair ever looked, like you could tell it was textured.
Let's remember that Lost Kingdom was a 2007~ish movie? Like, I saw the criticism and I agreed, but, whe haven't had a really intricate level of detail like that for full length animated movies until recently. Think of how Pixar had to create a whole new state of the art technogy for how the hait looks and is textured in Encanto (a movie starring lots of POC characters with much different textures), and how it had to be based on all the engines created for the hair in previous characters like Violet or Sullie (who's basically a car wash brush, not a fantastical fairy godess who guards the magical dimension while looking fabulous in her +60 inch hair and braids). Musa's hair moving as a unit and barely having any flow animated into it was criminal by those standarts, though.
I do not mean this in an offensive way its genuinely an observation. its kinda ironic how ure always criticizing capitalism (which i love for ofc) yet in order to have access to your discord, to interact with other nerdy queer ppl, to find community, u must pay money for u to be included in those circles. I understand that patrion is how u make ur living but there's plenty of other ways to reward your patrion members, maybe a private category on the discord? where they have a private channel and a private voice chat? I'm a disabled trans fem in a Muslim country, needless to say, I can't and probably won't ever be able to have access to that even tho itl I'm extremely isolated and I'd love to find those online safe places but this trend of "only patrions on the discord" have ruined it for me. technically u do whatever u want and I want u to succeed and live comfortably but I feel like making anti capitalist jokes or claiming that ure against it while engaging in a very capitalistic move and way of fonctionning is kinda meh another time this is not meant to be shady or hateful its just my perspective on this and i still love ur content and ur channel
As an artist let me explain where I personaly think the designs went wrong. It was the pink. The f-ing pink which they decided to make the "UniFyInG" color of the winx but guess what GUESS WHAT IT WAS Floras god damm color and it looks sh*t on Bloom keep her in blue like please blue and never put pink. Flora was done dirty...again my poor girl. Psa: I don't hate the color pink its one of my favs infact.
Well at least Bloom is mostly using purple as accent now. That said...pink's also the unifying color because the Winx logo is in Flora's color...funny initially it was Bloom's or Aisha's color in s1 (even though we don't meet Aisha until s2) depending on dub, then Flora, but SOTLK using Daphne's color is the best version.
Black winx girlie here (thank you so much for asking for our insight!) For me, Aisha's base hair style is fine. But over the years it feels like less of an effort is put into her hairstyles, especially in her fairy forms. Like, Aisha would look lovely in box braids for Bloomix! Or maybe give her bantu knots. It gets tiring seeing the same waves or curly ponytail. (I also understand animation may also play a role) But then I think about Miss Magix and the white washing...so...yeah. I'm hoping the reboot takes this into consideration. But I am always grateful that they didn't make Aisha into a tomboy!
I'm not a sirenix stan by any means, but I do kinda like what they were trying to do. It would be super easy to go with a mermaid esthetic for an aquatic transformation (which they probably should've in the long run) but they decided to try something different. Instead they went with a wet suit/scuba diver look with seaweed skirts and oceanic accessories. If they just made it less unifomic, designed slightly differently, it could've been really cool and unique compared to all other aquatic transformations, similar to winx mermaids looking so distinctly different from other franchises mermaids
I am one of the very few people who actually loves butterflix design lol I really like their butterfly themed dresses, I absolutely love their wings design, I like that they're smaller and have holes in them like they're only lines. Shoes are also very pretty imo. Overall S tier design
I think the 3D Enchantinx looks amazing, especially the transparency of the wings when they are closer to the body and then they get more colorful. Also, I think the problem with the colors is because they're kinda glowing, but their skin color looks normal when they're not transformed I'd say.
Awesome as always! I already typed this out once . Sadly I am a dummy who goes to another page without having his work so this will be The tldr version. 1 Love that we're starting to get longer videos again (Note: at the time of writing have not watched 11 hour tales of arise video.) 2 Love how genuinely excited you were about making this video. 3 video was super funny! I usually don’t like believix (sorry, u followed the best transformation) BUT I don’t accept flora believix slander, I love her top and the tall boots with the skirt
31:46 I feel like if they modeling an outfit for Aisha with bright electric blues like Nessa from Pokemon Sword/Shield, it’d look really great! Granted, I doubt they’d go that far into blue as it’d be too similar to Bloom’s palette.
I think it's unfortunate that a character name happened to be the first association here, but you can tell via the floral dragon motif that they were actually thinking about flowers *Blooming* because Bloom and Flora are roommates and fairies are instinctively flower born like butterflies. Flamix isn't exactly network approved either even if it sounds cool.
Stella by the board seems like she's either the most amazing iconic shit you've ever seen or the most hideous which is by-the-books for fashion designers (but like she didn't deserve the shit from rainbow)
Yesssss love spending my Saturday picking apart Winx fits like a Tremaine sister Y'know, I surprised myself when I realized I didn't care about the revealing Lovix outfits as much as I thought I would. But I think it's because we have the precedent of Tecna's Omega Dimension outfit from season 3, which was specifically made to keep her warm but showed even more skin than Lovix did. There must be some kind of insular magic protecting them from the cold or something.
I feel like rainbow was trying to make Aisha's hair good I think her is not that bad I like it. I love the braids. I love Sirenix and Believix my favorite Winx Club transformations.
A NEW WINX RANKING!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting this for SO long because I knew that many people's opinions on transformations constantly change. Thank you for making this 🙏
1:06:26 I never necessarily had a problem with Aishas hair but i would've love if it was more 4b-4c or just a tighter curl and coils in general. When it comes to black people and our hair texture, its never just one texture its usually more than one texture. As a black girl, I have naturally tight curls but they get tighter at the crown and a bit looser at the front. Aisha's hair, though curly, still remids me of the rest of the winxs hair(black women can have long hair but our hair shrinks up a lot. I would've really appreciate it if her hair was slicked back into a bun or in two puffs with sone dangling in the front or sides or even in twists or braids/locs.
I feel like in later seasons Bloom, Flora, and Aisha swapped their colors; Bloom become the pink one, Flora the green one, and Aisha the blue one now. Its sad, they were a lot better in their original colors.

musa’s enchantix brings up a minor critique i have with the transformation overall and that’s the lack of hair diversity, specifically how 2/3rds of the group ended up wearing their hair in pigtails
stella, aisha and flora are partially exempt from this since their hairstyles are different enough from each other as well as their everyday looks, but there’s not much difference between musa’s new everyday hair and enchantix hair - aside from being longer, neater-cut, and more lavender
while i don’t hate her enchantix pigtails, i think it’d be all the more impactful if she still had her short pigtails from S1-S2 and THEN lengthened them out after getting enchantix because she likes how the longer hair looks on her (or maybe even after the golden kingdom episode where her mom comments on how grown-up and beautiful she looks)
I'll admit when the designs for Bloomix first came out I was getting a warrior vibes.
Now I have warrior stuck in my head! The 80’s song specifically.
going from sirenix to bloomix gives me so much whiplash WERE THE DESIGNERS ASLEEP DURING SEASON 5
it's so interesting to see how the transformations can vary so wildly in opinions, because no one character looks good in all of them, stella ended up having my favorite design (2d enchantix) as well as my least favorite (3d mythix). but then some designs look really good on some of the characters, like musa looking amazing with both versions of butterflix
personally i think messy hair kind of suits sirenix! it reminds me of like deep ocean and the fact that mermaids are actually scary and aren't just pretty and cute how they seem at first
ponytails are hideous though
2:55 HOLY CRAP! That render of Bloom makes her limbs bend in ways that no human should bend. Like, no shade on the artist because it does look good, but the pose really got my attention.
Did you not see Musas WINX legs
It's one of the fixed ones where they made they're bodies more "realistic" it's kinda annoying cs the whole point is that they're bodies arent supposed to b realistic😭
Stella enchantix legs are a different bree
Facts.
Bloom's pink heart was the most boring one for me. I love Musa's CD player
@@lorettabes4553 I kinda vibe with the fluffy pink heart bag and kinda want one irl. But it does serve as an omen to the pink takeover of everything else she wears. I wonder if it would have been better if it were yellow, like her original accent color. I personally don't see that.
Charmix is so underrated and I hate it when people call Magic Winx Charmix just because of those stupid Nick recaps😭
@@lorettabes4553 I kinda like the pink heart but that's because I'm kinda basic but wtf was Layla's pouch supposed to signify
@@frauleinzuckerguss1906 I believe it was supposed to be a gourd, reminiscent of people in ancient times who would hollow out and store water or other stuff in. Nature's water bottle.
FLORA BELIEVIX C TIER????? oh you will get dealt with
Oh come on, there are like thousands more peoples love flora believix. Look at musa, so many people put her on lowest ranking if there are ranking.
As a black WINX girlie the hair for Miss Aisha has been an experience… ah and by that I mean godawful and wishy washy. to texture or not to texture? That is the question
I dunno why they are so allergic to giving black girls in the main cast natural hair but will let supporting characters live?!.
But they usually result to just straightening it she would rock space buns or Bantu knots honestly there’s so much they could have done with her hair esp ah well :(
Her hair is perfect the way it is! No need for braids just because she is black
@@karinasnooodles_ Exactly
Musa, Tecna and Aisha seem to be the MVPs of a lot of the Winx transformations (looks wise), and that gives me so much serotonin omg.
But why the f*ck did they do Enchantix in S8 so dirty??
Honestly I think it's because the person who made the tier is bias especially for Musa and Aisha which tends to happen alot.
@@TheYoungGeninSasukeI don’t think so since a lot of what they said is true
What do you mean by lower body tier?
@@chenillesagoe6348 notice how the girls have their wings much more area they cover like from their head to their lower thigh, bloom doesn't have that, kinda communicating she's incomplete in her enchantix! Atleast to me
I wonder what it looks like if it is complete
@@sopanhaleng8644 honestly me too! And I feel like at the end of secret of the lost kingdom, Since she has technically already earned her enchantix it wouldn't really change it's design but omg imagine if it did

Shoutout to FJ, you’re a real one
FJ IS A REAL ONE 🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥
Magic winx will forever be S tier for me
Same.
42:05 The cackle that left me when you called Tecna a Karen 🤣🤣🤣It's painfully accurate
Oh no the pink haired karen 👩🏻🎤

I think the pink fabric in Musa's dress is see through, like netting or something... I think that's really cool...

Also, Magic Winx/"Charmix" is uniquely tailored to each fairy/girl, also being able to function as a cohesive unit!
19:12 omg I didn't pick that up. Very interesting take on Aishas Enchantix form, when the water hits the sun you get like this reflective rainbow color. Did not realize it when I was a kid
Bloom, Aisha and Flora all had some rainbow motif....and Bloom's got yoinked from the show due to being incomplete at first.
Honeslty I think they should have given Aishas Green Enchantix darker teal-blue accents instead of the pink... so it would look like a gorgeous topical ocean. Maybe put the pink and some yellows into some smaller accents to give more contrast.
so we just up and teleported here, right?
Lol yup
Ngl, I just got the urge to watch some unicorn of war and noticed this freshly posted video.
Definitely teleported and ditched work hours till finishing this transformation rank vid
Yep!
Design-wise, nothing comes close to Enchantix except for Bloomix. TBH, I'd only keep Magic Winx, Believix (make this their Charmix form), Enchantix, and Bloomix. Hoping the reboot can match them!
I hope they use their old transformations for the reboot
@@chenillesagoe6348 Originally that was the idea; 1-2 years ago, they had their Magic Winx looks, but recent art was leaked and it appears to be a new transformation. I like them overall, but there's a bit too much uniformity and leggings, kinda like cosmix mixed with sirenix.
A Winx fashion video…you bad I’m in.
Is it me or bloomix is just better than every
transformation (🖤sirenix is war crime🖤)
this is so true, I wish it was their main transformation :(
I dunno, buddy, I feel like Enchantix still slaps it
It really has been a piping hot minute, but it’s nice to hear your voice again :3
48:18 Girl this deserves F tier. For me every important outfit the hair is the main thing that can break the outfit or make it look good. And this hair broke it like blooms 3D sirenix
I also hate the purple in her sirenix. It clashes badly with the orange in her basic outfit and blonde hair tbh
Hate the g7
Style with all the grease fr
I think Musa's magic winx seems to lack something because it must have been hard to put a full concept on her transformation. The other girls' concepts are very straight forward, but how do you portray music on an outfit AND keep it simple? They managed to make it work with enchantix and even charmix
I think it is similar with some of Tecna's outfits. Sophix and butterflix are nature themed for example so tend to be more opposite to what she is.
Bloom's really isn't fire-designed though. It's more to do with her character as a fairytale geek/concepts calling her the fairy of the whispering winds/coming from Earth (or so she thought).
I think musas magic winx outfit becomes s tier when her hair gets longer
That’s how I feel ∩^ω^∩
your pfp is hella cute
@@ramu-silly thank you!!! It’s based on kotori minami from love live school idol project :)

"Orange is the weird color."

i feel called out, greetings from Amersfoort.
As a fellow Dutch that hates orange, Stella does make it work
Hahaha carrot color go wheeee.
I love Orange though
Can we talk about how Enchantix is basically the best transformation. But how you basically have to almost die to get it?! Like as a kid. I thought sacrifice was just a way to say put yourself in danger to save someone from being hurt. And then as I got older. It sunk in. You basically had to die to get Enchantix! Which makes me think. If we imply this to other shows and anime’s. Cosmo from Sonic X would’ve earned hers. Which would be epic.
FJ YOU DID THIS FOR US AND WE'RE THANKFUL!!
I've been summoned
Not Thomas saying the word 'girlie' more often than the word 'the' in this whole video. 😂
(That's not a complaint or anything, it just stood out to me.)
"The poor man's enchantix"😂😭
7:30 Flora's magic winx form looks like a flower upside down. The dress is the flower, and the wings are the leaves.
I’m half white and latina and have curlier hair than a latinab
Never would I ever thought I would see Thomas do a tier list video but I am actually here for it! I might actually do this at some point.
Is it just me or am I the only one who loved Sirenix? 😭
I love sirenix mostly for for the music but i love it😭😭especially the 3D
I love how the Believix Design is lowkey a combination of Magic Winx & Enchantix visually!
I'm a disabled trans fem in a Muslim country, needless to say, I can't and probably won't ever be able to have access to that even tho itl I'm extremely isolated and I'd love to find those online safe places but this trend of "only patrions on the discord" have ruined it for me.
technically u do whatever u want and I want u to succeed and live comfortably but I feel like making anti capitalist jokes or claiming that ure against it while engaging in a very capitalistic move and way of fonctionning is kinda meh
another time this is not meant to be shady or hateful its just my perspective on this and i still love ur content and ur channel
i agree
49:06 I like how floras hair was actually going to be her main hair s1 but they changed it to light brown
I always assumed the lighter red fabric on Musa's magic Winx was like translucent mesh fabric
It's called organza. Organza is also added to the princesses on newer dvds.
Thomas uploading a new video will always be the highlight of my day, week, month, life ❤️
I am one of the very few people who actually loves butterflix design lol I really like their butterfly themed dresses, I absolutely love their wings design, I like that they're smaller and have holes in them like they're only lines. Shoes are also very pretty imo. Overall S tier design
I also really like sirenix so you can say I'm crazy lol
I think the 3D Enchantinx looks amazing, especially the transparency of the wings when they are closer to the body and then they get more colorful. Also, I think the problem with the colors is because they're kinda glowing, but their skin color looks normal when they're not transformed I'd say.
Stella's Enchantix will always be my favourite transformation. I don't know what it is about it, it's just perfection.
can somebody explain to me why there are so many Tecna haters in winx community?
Awesome as always! I already typed this out once . Sadly I am a dummy who goes to another page without having his work so this will be The tldr version.
1 Love that we're starting to get longer videos again (Note: at the time of writing have not watched 11 hour tales of arise video.)
2 Love how genuinely excited you were about making this video.
3 video was super funny! Paraphrasing here. Some of my favorite quotes were

"Sirenix fans take cover. Your dreams are about to be.... BLOWN OUT OF THE WATER. (What really got me about that one was how shamelessly proud you seemed of it😂)

I watched this video during a meal. The amount of times I chocked on my food due to you making me laugh while I was chewing, I tell you!
31:46 I feel like if they modeling an outfit for Aisha with bright electric blues like Nessa from Pokemon Sword/Shield, it’d look really great! Granted, I doubt they’d go that far into blue as it’d be too similar to Bloom’s palette.
oh the musa bias runs STRONG in this video (she’s also my favorite)
58:20 You say ponytail but Bloom still has her hair down on the image you're showing
Sirenix not having mermaid tails is a crime
I said it before and I'll say it again, Bloomix should've been named after the Dragon flame. Dragonix, Draconix, or Flamix would've rocked!!!
I think it's unfortunate that a character name happened to be the first association here, but you can tell via the floral dragon motif that they were actually thinking about flowers
*Blooming* because Bloom and Flora are roommates and fairies are instinctively flower born like butterflies. Flamix isn't exactly network approved either even if it sounds cool.
Stella by the board seems like she's either the most amazing iconic shit you've ever seen or the most hideous which is by-the-books for fashion designers (but like she didn't deserve the shit from rainbow)
Winx got me into character design as a kid so as an adult this video brings back great memories and gives me life!!
Aisha also got lightened in World of Winx. Was surprised you missed it.
Ohhhh my goddd yay finally another winx club video. I am literally such a huge fan like 🎉🎉
Yesssss love spending my Saturday picking apart Winx fits like a Tremaine sister
Y'know, I surprised myself when I realized I didn't care about the revealing Lovix outfits as much as I thought I would.
A like and prayer for your mental health
Great job, FJ! ❤
Hot take (probably not): Harmonix and Sirenix should've switched outfits.
As a black woman, I would like Aisha to have more curly hair .😂❤
47:49 F tier the hair is HIDEOUS
I feel like in later seasons Bloom, Flora, and Aisha swapped their colors; Bloom become the pink one, Flora the green one, and Aisha the blue one now.
Its sad, they were a lot better in their original colors.
