    I've been teaching myself how to DJ I have an Ecler nuo2 but watching you use the send and return really taught me something you showed how to really use the mixer in this demo I understand the rotary thing more now.. It looks really good (I wish Ecler well with this product) ( when I get enough cash who knows might add it to my collection of equipment) Thanks for a really great video Keep up the good work.

    Super happy to see Ecler back in the game. I think they hit the right spot in the market. lots of people looking for quality sounding mixer, just for regullar mixing, no need for efects and 16 chanels, just simple unit that sound good, is not build in china and u dont have to sell a car to own it. I play on old NUO 3.0 and its absolutly fantastic, never let me down. listen to youre audio file as well and supriced by how good it sounds compared to mp2014, small (but noticable )difference in sound and huge difference in price.

    Veryy nice. Im looking this mixer to work with digital and analogic. My idea of setup is to use 2 phonos (channel 1 & 2) to work with turntables, and the channel 3 to work with a digital output (Traktor 3 with the native instruments Z1+X1+F1) Since my Z1 have only a master output, my idea is to plug on the channel 3 of the mixer and make this combo. My only question is: how i can control the volume of the channel 3? I can only see the knobs for channels 1 & 2.
    Thanks for the video. And i wish you the best.

    • @DJSTUFF
      @DJSTUFF  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      With the channel 3 you have :
      - switch selector mic/line
      - 2 band EQ
      - PFL
      - volume control.
      So everything is here so work. 👍🏻

    Hi great video! Can you please further explain why a guitar FX pedal won’t work? I thought I’d be able to get some sound of it even if it’s phasing but I’m getting nothing.

    • @DJSTUFF
      @DJSTUFF  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I said that ? I don’t remember.
      I think a pedal fx can work but a stereo one and with dry / wet pot.

    • @jamesgia9856
      @jamesgia9856 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DJSTUFF Yes you did, haha only negative feedback was it doesn’t accept a guitar pedal unless it’s got a wet/dry knob. I have a delay pedal with no wet dry knob only a level knob but I’m getting no sound out of it at all, I thought I’d get something coming through even if it was phasing, am I doing something wrong or is this normal? Thanks!!

    • @DJSTUFF
      @DJSTUFF  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Aaaah ok, yes with dry/wet pot. Ok.
      Normally it has to work in all cases but without dry/wet you have a uncool phasing, but you have to have some sound.
      For exemple, you put an other mixer into the send / return, you will have phasing but you will have some sound.

    • @jamesgia9856
      @jamesgia9856 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DJSTUFF Okay thanks for letting me know, I might take it back to the DJ store as I can hear some delay in the headphones if I do some obscure routing like routing the booth out back into channel 3 but nothing out of the mains. When I do a regular send return I’m using RCA split to TRS cable into a mono pedal and back in but I get nothing but the original sound running through the mains, possibly an issue. Thanks for the recommend FX units, I’ll have to check them out!

    • @DJSTUFF

      We talk about the Xone:23 and not 23C, right ?
      The main thing is that the Xone:23 has a filter, not the Warm2 ( but you can add it later with the Warm ). For me the Warms is better.
      But the two mixer are different just about the linear / rotary fader that they have. You have to choose first what do you prefer.

      Rotary's are used instead of input faders....it's a volume knob/pot instead of a slider....a pot is a round version of an vertical/up fader.
      A cross fader just selects a channel to play or in the middle it plays both....a rotary just turns on each sound source individually with no fade between them....if that makes sense lol.
