Most likely won't matter if you place proper labels. Mine is color coded to my rig . Screw the rule. The government don't drive it, I do.

still has the traditional EPA jackass spout that make it hard to see whats going into the tank you're filling. you get spillage to let you know its full.

Huge flaw in the design is the federally regulated spout. It's not flexable so the weight of the can will crack/break the plastic part on the end rendering it useless.

I really like the fact that there are multiple colors to choose from. But it would be nice if they made the blue ones for water instead. I wonder if the kerosene ones can be used for water? Only asking because I'm not sure if there is a special coating for kerosene inside.

Are these the same as Harbor Freight’s $45.00 Jerry cans but just rebranded to ask a much higher price?
    Just asking.

Seems all the good Jerry Cans come from a handful of factories who sell to multiple brands/distributors.
But these are clearly different in that they have the latch lid, as opposed to Harbor Freight's screw-on top.

*I used this on my 2006 Troy Bilt Pony (MTD) tractor **Bestfor.Garden** also recommend it was an easy swap. It's very light aluminum and seems sturdy enough so far; I assume you really only need to replace the idle pulleys once so if these wear out anytime while I have the mower I'll update the reivew.*

still over priced but i bought mine at hf. and do not have to () with a spring in the lid.
if i could afford any new blitz i would buy more of them. they do not have a seam to worry about leaking.

I have never punctured a steel gas can... I cannot say the same for multiple plasti-crap containers... and I had 3 "Blitz" cans rattling around in my trail rig for over a decade.

Check out the jerry cans from Harbor Freight $49
Coated on the inside and full welds for strength and durability.
Replace the spout with a long flexible one.
I’m going to go against my grain by buying at HF and purchase several of these and paint as I wish.
Just trying to find quality where I can and at a decent price and pass it on.
