- Hello from the 2nd happiest country in the world, Denmark! ✨
Today we are starting our mini series of vlogs about Copenhagen, a city that I’ve been dreaming to discover for so long!
This vlog presents our first day here, which was full of activities, art, nature, history & stars. ✨
Our first impressions are that this city, is very modern, very easy to navigate, everybody speaks English, they are helpful and friendly, and of course everything is expensive!
🎟️ If you want to do a city break in Copenhagen I highly recommend getting a Copenhagen Card that you’ll see me mentioning many times in the vlog. It is an all in one card that offers you unlimited transportation, entrances for many tourist attractions & even a boat cruise. I’ll leave the link below so you can check it out but you do not have to buy it online, you can get it there on the spot, at the airport or at the places that sell it.
Because we got one it made the costs of our trip way cheaper than it would normally be. We paid 100 euros for 72h but you can get it for different periods of time.
🎡🏺🖼️ In this vlog we are visiting: the National Aquarium of Denmark, the Danish Architecture Center, the Ny Glyptotek & the Planetarium. Each place gave us an unique experience and we love that here many museums are very interactive and offer you playful ways to discover them.
Nothing is boring in this city!

At times they have "Mermaids" swimming in the huge aquarium basin, among the fish, also the signature, large Hammerhead sharks! As the home of author H.C. Andersen, the story about "The Mermaid" is very well known and we have also a, "Lifesize", statue in the harbor. The yellow boats seen are actually "busses" for public transport and integrated in the Public Transport System.
The "Tour boat" sails in the harbor and the canals, and not in a - "river"!
And the water in the harbor has now been cleaned to a degree so public fishing and, bathing are allowed at all places. We have some special basins for for bathing also, in the harbor area.
And in Glyptoteket they have several statues by famous French sculptor: Auguste Rodin, among those the well known statue: "The Thinker"! It is to be seen in several places, also the US and Sweden. But I asked in Glyptoteket and was told, that if the statue is signed by the Artist, it is considered an Original!
