Something I always suggest people to do when visiting Copenagen, is to simply walk from one end of the canal to the other - but each time there is a bridge you cross it and keep walking on the opposite side. This gives a great diverse and constantly shifting perspective, with lovely views and a direct path to any major area of interest. Then at the end you can hop on the ferries that use the same ticket system as the busses and metro, and get back to the center :)
@@anne_bckmnn Yes that is correct, they all utilize the same system. If you have a city pass, or you use the transit cards that can be filled up, then they work for busses, metro, ferries, and trains in the city and other connecting areas :)
I love seeing these same places again. I spent a month in Denmark in 2022 and I need to go back. I can't tell you why but it's the happiest I have ever been. Absolutely perfect.
I visited Copenhagen twice and enjoyed a lot, in addition to what we saw in the video i was impressed by modern architecture, design stores, people riding the bikes at +10C with only T-shirt on them
I'm planning a trip to Copenhagen, and this is the best video tour I've seen so far! Really gives me a sense of what it feels like to live there, rather than being a tourist. That's the kind of experience I'm seeking.
I spent a fantastic week in Copenhagen in February 2022. It was chilly but beautiful and I didn't want to leave. The Little Mermaid was gorgeous and my partner and I enjoyed having coffee in Lagkagehuset. Walking in the streets was such a pleasure as was our trip to see La Boheme at the incredible opera house. It was so well done that I cried all the way through it. I have bought language books and listen to Rasmus Seebach sing, but it is a difficult language to try and learn although it's lovely to hear it spoken.
This video, along with others we've seen, has been very helpful for our current trip. We're actually here for a few more days and still have much to explore! Thank you for the video and the tips.
Visited Copenhagen from Scotland, Glasgow. We did everything you suggested except go into the parliament building and the second garden from your video. Copenhagen is the most beautiful city I have ever been to. Most wonderful holiday i have ever had. People are nice and private and a very relaxed pace of living. Your video was great.
I agree, I’ve only ever been to Jutland - but KBH seems cool enough, yet every podcast or youtube personality isn’t Danish! Hey Adam, I must say I loved your video, your positivity and how nicely you presented your beautiful Copenhagen city for travellers. My favourite part was when you spoke while riding your bike and coming towards the camera on the street. It was a beautiful scene to watch. I also really enjoyed looking at your cinematography and camera movements of shooting several places in Copenhagen specially the scenes of Tivoli Gardens. What camera and lens do you use? and How did you do it? Watching Tivoli shots were like so clear, excellent video quality and it felt like you are so close to the rides. Very nice video and helpful for travellers. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it :) In this video, some is filmed with a Gopro - but the more broll clips are filmed with a Fujifilm X-T4 - and the Tivoli clips in particular, with a zoom lens, 55-200mm - actually filmed from outside Tivoli, haha :)

Great video! Could you recommend one of two best restaurants for enjoying traditional smørrebrød and if you don 't mind telling witch restaurant is the one you showed a picture at 5:02 in this video?
I really like; Kanalcafeen, Schønnemann and Ravelinen. I think that one is actually from a restaurant in Aarhus, it was just the only footage I had of some good looking smørrebrød at the time :)
Thank you so much for your video. :) Do you think I can do this itinerary in a day or two? I will probably have a day and a half in the city. I was planning to take a metro to the rådhuspladsen and walk up. Do you think I can see most of this places in a day?
Hi Fabio, yes, it is possible to do in a day. However, that will be quite rushed and you won't have a lot of time to enjoy each place, and you'll probably need some breaks, food etc. The Inner City part is a great and you can do a lot of that in a day for sure, depending on your preferences. Starting at Rådhuspladsen is perfect and then walking around to all the cool places you like. If you want to enjoy museums and places like Tivoli where you'd spend several hours, it will of course take some time away from other things. Enjoy your trip!
@@thenordicadam Thank you very very much for your response. I will arrive in the city around 4PM so I will have the afternoon and the next full day to explore the city. There are plenty of places to rent a bike, local bike shops often do short terms as well - and often your hotel can help you with the closest (or even have some themselves). There are also the city bikes you can rent with an app, like Donkeybikes. Have a great trip!
Hi Adam, great day. Do you conduct bike tour or walk tour in person? I’ll be in Copenhagen this October 20-23. Trying my luck if I can hop on to your tour if there is any
Hi, Adam! 🙋🏻♀️ Thank you so much for the video! I've a question for you...I have NO idea how to ride a bicycle (I've tried for like 20 years and still can't. I've given up). Are there adult tricycles that people can ride?
Hmm, good question! It's not something I've really seen (nor can I find any on Google). Cargo bikes are pretty common and you can rent those, but honestly I'm not sure they are easier and they come with other problems, like, you taking up 80% of the bike lane. But could be worth a look? Alternatively, I believe the Danish Red Cross offer free bicycle lessons for adults. Could be worth giving it one last try?: hovedstaden.rodekors.dk/red-cross-copenhagen/bicycle-training/
It's gonna be quite a bit colder. But you could still do a lot of the things from this video - just make sure to bring proper clothing. But besides that, I would definitely try to do more in door activities as well, perhaps trying to mix them in between checking out some of the spots here. If you like museums there are plenty of great ones, and even just going inside for a coffee or look at shops. Hope you have an awesome concert and trip :)
@@thenordicadam appreciate the response. I live in Ireland so we'll used to the cold that time of year. So I'll be prepared for that, and yes love museums. So I'll be sure to check them out. Thank you, hoping it will be good :)
Absolutely. They run every day, as far as I know. In summer months it can be a good idea to book online in advance - but it is possible to show up at Nyhavn and buy tickets in person.
How many days would you recommend in Copenhagen? I was thinking 4 days around Easter but not sure if I be all 4 days in CPH or also visit Malmo or Aarhus or any other close destinations? Any suggestions?
All could be great to be honest! You can see a lot in Copenhagen in 2 days, so you could easily combine it with a visit to another place. Aarhus is about 3 hours away. If you want something a little closer; Malmø, Helsingør (there's a beautiful castle) or Roskilde (has an awesome viking ship museum).
Beyond 'Smørrebrød' (which I show in this video) - try a Danish hotdog from one of the small mobile hotdog stands. 'Stegt flæsk' is another one to try! And don't miss the great pastries, like a 'kanelsnegl' :)
hey just a suggestion.. place your names on the top or center.. it is not legible with the captions turned on.. other than that its a lovely video.. ive saved most of the places to google maps.. will check them out
Please make a full nice video of real estate property that people live in and houses for sale...there are no such videos of Copenhagen...please make one..we want to see it ❤
There should be buses when you arrive at the cruise terminal, where you then should get off at 'Orientkaj'. From here you can take the Metro (M4 line) directly to Copenhagen Central station. There should also be some staff to help guide you in the right direction. Alternatively, you can take a taxi - but it is about 10 times more expensive. Enjoy your visit!

@@thenordicadam Thanks for the suggestions. I am tempted by all these places. Will have to decide once on ground.
@@ag1805x That's often the best way to do it! Enjoy your trip :)
awesome 🤗🧧🈵🈵✈️✈️✅
What is the local food , and where do you recommend to visit to taste a Danish dish? Thank you in advance :)
Beyond 'Smørrebrød' (which I show in this video) - try a Danish hotdog from one of the small mobile hotdog stands. 'Stegt flæsk' is another one to try! And don't miss the great pastries, like a 'kanelsnegl' :)
Fantastic❤thx
That is the beautiful floor mat @4:30
Hahaha, right? 🤣
hey just a suggestion.. place your names on the top or center.. it is not legible with the captions turned on.. other than that its a lovely video.. ive saved most of the places to google maps.. will check them out
Thanks for your comment, and good point! Didn't think about the captions when I added the names - will do for future videos. Thanks for watching.
Thanks!
Enjoy Copenhagen!
Great video
Ewell done video

Hi! I actually just made a video like this - about my own apartment in Copenhagen, you can find it on my channel. Thanks for watching :)
Love it
However American Express card is not accepted everywhere
True! Visa and Mastercard work everywhere - American Express, not so much.
Cool Video 👍👍
hey adam kan jou tel mi hoe a must go from de cruisterminal terminal 3 to de centerum gr walter from belgium
Where to stay in Copenhagen?
I'd like to go to Copenghagen, in May, with my husband, on a mini honeymoon! 💍
Sounds like a fantastic plan - the perfect time to go! And congratulations :)
