In my game, Don was the one who settled down and was faithful (I did assign him to be a secondary family sim as I saw a lot of people saying he is actually a good father). I once sent the couple to a community lot and let the game direct the drama, and every single romantic interaction Don initiated was directed at Cassandra. I then checked my ACR settings and noticed that Don's One True Sim was automatically set to Cass. He still occasionally rolls the want to flirt and woohoo, but never acts on them. Meanwhile, when I was playing the Dreamer household, Darren kept booty-calling Cassandra when I wasn't paying attention to him, and she always said yes. Like, for one second, I was setting up an action queue for Dirk; and the next second, I got interrupted by Darren and Cass's woohoo cutscene. And when they were visiting a community lot, let's just say the patrons were having a field day watching and cheering their public woohoo.
Tbf he did roll a want to fall in love with a townie at one point but I wanted to stick to the challenge 😭😭 if I did fully wants based gameplay, i would’ve been screwed
Lmao seeing Cassandra at the beach in her long fancy black dress is iconic😂 Whenever you use the smart milk, you could have the parent wear a thinking cap while teaching them. Lol I just started a new Pleasantview and I decided to go nuclear this time. I had Don leave Cassandra at the altar, so she became a girlboss who opened an orphanage and took in Brandi Broke's neglected kids, and the mistreated Lilith Pleasant.
My Goth household was a little wild at the start. Don managed to get both Nina and Dina pregnant right before his wedding with Cassandra, and then Cass herself on their wedding night. Dina moved into the Goth house and she kept asking Don to break up with Cassandra but he always turned her down. I ended up moving them all into the giant house on 210 Wright Way for more space. Kaylynn ended up being their maid, saw Don and Cass being romantic, accused Don of cheating and quit 😂 Don never learned he had two non-Cass kids despite living with one of them (she had red hair and looked like Dina, was assumed to be Mortimer's). Went on to have 5 kids (2 were a surprise) with Cass and behaved himself surprisingly well on community lots for many years... until he ran into Nina while out with the fam one night and flirted with her. His youngest daughters that witnessed the chaos rolled wants for learning couples counseling though, so they helped smooth things over. Cassandra did actually cheat on Don (with Kaylynn's husband no less; the husband was her coworker) while she was still furious at him. Dina had another, actually Mortimer's this time, baby. She moved out after Mortimer died and both kids left for college. And Alexander moved back into the Goth mansion after graduating and is raising his family there (bro had 2 sets of twins with Lucy Burb).
I let my sims run wild with autonomy mods and wants-based gameplay 😅Pleasantview has currently ballooned to 18 households (1 is college kids) and 76 sims but the gen 1 pre-mades are all about to die off and I'm being a bit more limiting on how many kids I let them have now. I've had a lot of crazy moments. Mary-sue was a werewolf for many years; Jennifer Burb had to plead for their son when he got hit by a meteorite; Dina died in a lightning storm while stargazing; Lucy actually had a 3rd set of twins when she agreed to be a surrogate for her brother (the one who got hit by a meteorite) and his husband (Don and Cass's firstborn); the Goth Mansion keeps getting set on fire by Gunther and Cornelia Goth's ghosts. Just to name a few lmao.

Hey, I thought I was alone to make Don has redemption arc 😂 I used to making him married with Cassandra because he felt the guilt to cannot help her mother abducted by alien. And the guilt was making him realized that his unhealthy lifestyle wasn't worth it 😅 So... thank you for playing this route.

yess i also love Bon Voyage!! i just recently started playing with it more, and have been sending my current sims on family vacations to Twikkii Island :) it's so nice. also wow Don really came through here!! it's so fun to see the sweet side to him, i see what Bella was saying when she said he's misunderstood. btw, i like to think Davide floating is just one of the many ghosts on the property giving him a little lift :D no curses there!
Bon Voyage is such a chill pack, I love Twikkii Island so much! Three Lakes and Takemizu Village are pure vibes too tho. And yesss, I was really surprised with how well he handled this episode haha

I did too... but with Nina Caliente. Cassandra deserves better. I always set her up with Darren. They usually have two daughters: Diane and Danielle and Cassandra works as a scientist like her father. Don becomes a family man with lots of children because he can't keep his hands off Nina like she doesn't keep her eyes out of him 👀🤣 The last time I played with them they had five children and another one on the way: Isabella, Camila, Matteo, Giovanna & Enzo. Nina is an entertainer who is thinking about becoming an actress and Don quit his doctor career because it wasn't much fun and it was quite stressing. Because he likes to have a good time and lots of girls screaming his name, he became a football star. Because in 4, Bella still has her memories and it is not possible to make her amnesiac, she is still with Vlad and Dina marries Godffrey, who divorces Nanci to wed a younger version of her.
Ohh this is really cool and feels a bit more plausible haha, also glad I’m not the only one who feels the medical career doesn’t really suit Don’s character
I enjoyed the video, as you always put effort into making them fun❣ I have played this both ways, having that wedding kiss, as well as the Don doin' the ditch. I find the family difficult to play trying to make Don faithful (so much micromanagement), but regardless if Don impregnates anyone, he is always a good father, imo. The other route I play, is getting Darren & Cassandra together, after Don flies the coupe. One other thing I do regardless, I change her primary aspiration to knowledge, because it suits her far better (to be fair, she is not actually the most engaging mom with her kids, as far as I have seen). I usually give Alexander Knowledge too (even though, he has the hidden Fortune token). If I do bring Bella back (using a clean template), I also change her primary to either Family or Knowledge (Secondary, the flip). Unfortunately, Romance sims are too hard-coded for serial romance, unlike the hopeless romantic side, that brought in TS3. I am looking forward to who is next❣

This was cool. In my game, Don had no problem marrying Cass after getting abducted. After the wedding, he gave birth to boy/girl alien twins, who were very good looking. Him and Cass proceeded to have five more kids. Don took care of all of them and was a great father to all seven of them. Dina married Mortimer and had a daughter. They lived in the Goth house until Mortimer died. Dina and her daughter moved out and Alex came back from college. He married Kaylynn the maid. They never had any kids. Alex died of heat stroke and Kaylynn became a townie again. A great, great granddaughter of Dina's is now living in the Goth house with her family. BTW, in Sims 4, I hooked up Don with Dina and it's going the same way. He's a great father to their daughter; always playing with her and taking care of her. More than Dina does.

I like Don the family man... but in my game there's a twist... he's a single father with alien babies; maybe he'll get Nina to commit one day, but she's a party girl and out all the time in town after all. Cassandra seeing how after being left at the altar she actually dodged a bullet, goes out too to find the goth love of her life in blind dates and becomes friends with Nina, it's girls night out all the nights.
I’m playing an Uberhood at the moment and I decided for once that Don should be the one pregnant instead of impregnating everyone else lol (he met Chloe Curious in Strangetown and she got Don pregnant 😭) Also for suggestions, anyone in Strangetown but the Grunt-Smith family rivalry would be interesting (also can I see Ripp lol)
Oh, in my Sims 2 game I matched Cassandra with Daren and Don with Nina. What about Goth family - I've tried to make better family dynamic between all Goths, so Mortimer became a friend to his children. More of all I tried to make better life for poor Alexander. I always sent him to the private school also. In my version he always has a friendship and then a love interest with Sofie Burb ❤️ After university they live in a new house with new traditions. But Alexander always try find a way to change past and save his mom (hello, Sims 4 - version of Universe, he finally find). By the way, I make all Pleasantview's families in the Sims 4, so Alex found Sofie there too ^^ But in my game Sims 4 I've tried to match Don with Nina, but he felt in love with Dina and what was surprising for me - he became a perfect family guy hisself. He wanted to marry with her, wanted to have babies and really love their kids. They have 5 kids)

Loyal and neat Don isn't even Don anymore. I think he and Cassandra come from different worlds. And Mortimer moving in with Dina is NOT what he deserves. He deserves swimming in all the cash he earned with his hard work, he deserves a comfortable bed in his old age, he deserves to be buried next to his ancestors. That's what I did with him in my LP. The Bon Voyage EP is definetely underrated. You can improve your gameplay experience sooo much with the teleportation skill and the woodoo doll. And the island vibes are something. (dreaming about a holiday)

Ik this was posted ages ago but still I'm new to your channel and I really like it actually. Also I NEVER make Don and Cassandra get together (my poor Cassie doesn't deserve that) Instead I make her get with Darren Dreamer and move in with him because idk I feel like Mortimer would stay at the Goth mansion and if I ever made him move in with the Calientes Id probably make them move into a much bigger house just because while Mortimer isn't a snob I think that because he has always been rich even growing up he could never live in a tiny cramped up condo. Anyway great video love the content!
My don became a family man by choice. I dont remember if i gave him the family aspiration (prob not, i dont remmeber that.) but I made him run away from Cassie and Nina moved in with him after Mortimer and Dina got married. Nina got pregnant accidently and when Don found out he rolled the wish to be engaged to Nina (🥺) then SHE DIED IN CHILDBIRTH (bc of a mod I have) AND I HAVENT RECOVERED.
In my playthrough of the Goth family, Don did marry Cassie, but ended up kicking Cassie out of her own mansion because she cheated on Don with Darren ^^'

I did too... but with Nina Caliente. Cassandra deserves better. I always set her up with Darren. They usually have two daughters: Diane and Danielle and Cassandra works as a scientist like her father. Don becomes a family man with lots of children because he can't keep his hands off Nina like she doesn't keep her eyes out of him 👀🤣 The last time I played with them they had five children and another one on the way: Isabella, Camila, Matteo, Giovanna & Enzo. Nina is an entertainer who is thinking about becoming an actress and Don quit his doctor career because it wasn't much fun and it was quite stressing. Because he likes to have a good time and lots of girls screaming his name, he became a football star. Because in 4, Bella still has her memories and it is not possible to make her amnesiac, she is still with Vlad and Dina marries Godffrey, who divorces Nanci to wed a younger version of her.
Ohh this is really cool and feels a bit more plausible haha, also glad I’m not the only one who feels the medical career doesn’t really suit Don’s character

I have played this both ways, having that wedding kiss, as well as the Don doin' the ditch. I find the family difficult to play trying to make Don faithful (so much micromanagement), but regardless if Don impregnates anyone, he is always a good father, imo.
The other route I play, is getting Darren & Cassandra together, after Don flies the coupe. One other thing I do regardless, I change her primary aspiration to knowledge, because it suits her far better (to be fair, she is not actually the most engaging mom with her kids, as far as I have seen).
I usually give Alexander Knowledge too (even though, he has the hidden Fortune token). If I do bring Bella back (using a clean template), I also change her primary to either Family or Knowledge (Secondary, the flip). Unfortunately, Romance sims are too hard-coded for serial romance, unlike the hopeless romantic side, that brought in TS3.

This was cool. In my game, Don had no problem marrying Cass after getting abducted. After the wedding, he gave birth to boy/girl alien twins, who were very good looking. Him and Cass proceeded to have five more kids. Don took care of all of them and was a great father to all seven of them. Dina married Mortimer and had a daughter. They lived in the Goth house until Mortimer died. Dina and her daughter moved out and Alex came back from college. He married Kaylynn the maid. They never had any kids. Alex died of heat stroke and Kaylynn became a townie again. A great, great granddaughter of Dina's is now living in the Goth house with her family.
BTW, in Sims 4, I hooked up Don with Dina and it's going the same way. He's a great father to their daughter; always playing with her and taking care of her. More than Dina does.

In my game, they had a daughter and I named her „Donna” 😆 Both had fear of having another kid so it ended on one. But Donna married a son of Dustin & Angela Broke and they had twins - Alto & Lucia
it's so weird to see don behaving himself AND being a dad, but it's nice to see nonetheless.
I definitely thought there’d be more drama but it was cool to see Don adapt to his new wholesome lifestyle so easily haha

I like Don the family man... but in my game there's a twist... he's a single father with alien babies; maybe he'll get Nina to commit one day, but she's a party girl and out all the time in town after all. Cassandra seeing how after being left at the altar she actually dodged a bullet, goes out too to find the goth love of her life in blind dates and becomes friends with Nina, it's girls night out all the nights.

I’m playing an Uberhood at the moment and I decided for once that Don should be the one pregnant instead of impregnating everyone else lol (he met Chloe Curious in Strangetown and she got Don pregnant 😭)
Also for suggestions, anyone in Strangetown but the Grunt-Smith family rivalry would be interesting (also can I see Ripp lol)
Now that’s a fun twist haha, love it! And yeah, Strangetown is certainly on my radar, a lot of Sims over there need some serious help 😭
Oh, in my Sims 2 game I matched Cassandra with Daren and Don with Nina. What about Goth family - I've tried to make better family dynamic between all Goths, so Mortimer became a friend to his children. More of all I tried to make better life for poor Alexander. I always sent him to the private school also. In my version he always has a friendship and then a love interest with Sofie Burb ❤️ After university they live in a new house with new traditions. But Alexander always try find a way to change past and save his mom (hello, Sims 4 - version of Universe, he finally find). By the way, I make all Pleasantview's families in the Sims 4, so Alex found Sofie there too ^^ But in my game Sims 4 I've tried to match Don with Nina, but he felt in love with Dina and what was surprising for me - he became a perfect family guy hisself. He wanted to marry with her, wanted to have babies and really love their kids. They have 5 kids)

Loyal and neat Don isn't even Don anymore. I think he and Cassandra come from different worlds. And Mortimer moving in with Dina is NOT what he deserves. He deserves swimming in all the cash he earned with his hard work, he deserves a comfortable bed in his old age, he deserves to be buried next to his ancestors. That's what I did with him in my LP.
The Bon Voyage EP is definetely underrated. You can improve your gameplay experience sooo much with the teleportation skill and the woodoo doll. And the island vibes are something. (dreaming about a holiday)

Also I NEVER make Don and Cassandra get together (my poor Cassie doesn't deserve that) Instead I make her get with Darren Dreamer and move in with him because idk I feel like Mortimer would stay at the Goth mansion and if I ever made him move in with the Calientes Id probably make them move into a much bigger house just because while Mortimer isn't a snob I think that because he has always been rich even growing up he could never live in a tiny cramped up condo.

cassandra marrying don always seemed weird to me idk. maybe its because of when i think of her, is still imagine her as the kid from the first game.
My don became a family man by choice.
I dont remember if i gave him the family aspiration (prob not, i dont remmeber that.) but I made him run away from Cassie and Nina moved in with him after Mortimer and Dina got married. Nina got pregnant accidently and when Don found out he rolled the wish to be engaged to Nina (🥺) then SHE DIED IN CHILDBIRTH (bc of a mod I have) AND I HAVENT RECOVERED.
